1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 14, 2022, 09:37:11 AM
The reason why I don't usually monitor after investing and after selling. It is relatable to each and every trader so you don't need to feel it is just you. Hold your assets and don't be moved by those changes as they will also turn in the opposite direction in no time.

You should not be one of those people that would immediately drop their assets once they see the price having a downtrend, let's be patient, and instead of worrying that might impact our decisions that would also affect our future profits and investments, we should focus on other things and make our time worthwhile and productive.

Depending on how old your daughter is you can give her concepts to understand what cryptocurrencies are but if you want a crypto investment for your daughter, you should also remember that there are risks doing that, it is not a 100% solution although it could give you profit.

It is awesome that you are thinking for your daughter's future but for now, it is better to have a stable income for you and your family to have some savings, death is one reason to be worried but there are times that it is not actually worst than that but it is expensive like diseases. Better earn and save what you can right now and as they usually say, invest what you can afford to lose.

Your daughter's future won't depend on how much investment you have for her, it will depend on how well you will raise her, remember that.
4  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa tingin niyo ano mas maganda? on: March 14, 2022, 07:14:54 AM
Ako kasi nag invest ako sa Axie noong June 2021, tapos maganda naman kinalabasan ng ROI sobrang bilis pero ngayon wala na halos 10php lang araw araw.

Mas maganda sana kung naging stable yung earnings mo sa Axie since mabilis talaga yung pagimprove ng game when it comes to metas and skills. Although nasa sayo naman mkung gagawin mo ito. Right now, marami pa din naman kumikita sa Axie and most of them still, naghohold pa den since active naman ang community and madami pa den chance na tumaas ang presyo.

Mag invest sa Play to earn na mga laro o mag flip ng mga nfts?

Right now, oo, maganda ang NFTs but with a lot of choices and sobrang dami talagang NFTs na nagkalat, for now keep on flipping kung kaya mo naman isupport yung pagfiflip. There are a lot of ways to get NFTs and even create them so kung may talent kang to create one, you can try but hindi siya advisable since sobrang daming competitors and they have the money para ilagay sa kanilang marketing.

Sangayon ako sa nasa taas na post, sa sobrang sikat ng mga ito napakabilis ng proseso so dapat palagi kang active and you should also have a plan kung ano gagawin mo since baka ka talaga maiwan.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Odd Job Would Have Put Thousands of Dollars in BTC in My Wallet on: March 14, 2022, 06:35:22 AM
You accept it or not, people will still lose money. That is how investing works but if that actually happened, kudos to you for picking your peace of mind rather than a short-period worth of money, which can be used to maybe invest in some of the interesting NFTs or cryptos you have in mind but never mind.

I think people nowadays won't be falling to these kinds of tactics, right?
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: March 10, 2022, 10:34:01 PM
The government will always be the same. They wouldn't be encouraging people to use Bitcoin because they are always thinking it is a risk and when I had a chance to talk to a politician, he said they don't even know who back it up.

Although most of what he said is true though. They can talk about it, but not encourage people to use it. Main reason is that they can't take care of the people that's using it. The fact that there are still people thinking that it is a scam shows that there are still people against it, and them talking about it would create an impact to these people which I think they don't want to happen.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Never expect you to be rich without investment on: March 10, 2022, 03:45:57 AM
You should be proud of him because of what he said. I know a lot of people that says the same but what they say will just before the "and" part. I live in a third world country and I knew a lot of people that do things without any risks and always trying to be on the safe side. I can understand some of them because there are also some limitations of what can be done on their situations.

Most of them though, they are not risking anything because they are already comfortable of what they are doing or earning. They are already stopping like they already found the goal in their lives, and take note, most of them is not that old to boot. They still have time to risk, most of them already have family but still spend most of their money with alcohol and cigarettes. The most annoying though is that they are earning one step above minimum and thinking they will be rich without doing anything else.

I think there is a reason why we are seeing those bitcoins at the price chart of that Starcraft prize pool. I mean, I don't think they would put that there as a joke.

I mean it is for the runner ups but still, the fact that we are seeing bitcoin in the prize pool means that they are also recognizing the value that it has at that time. It might be a reason why some of these players or spectators knew Bitcoin and the entirety of the cryptocurrency.

But for sure, some of these players would disregard the value of it and also most of these runner ups might've sold them immediately.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uptrend stop after Barry Silbert tweet that they are buying Bitcoin on: March 05, 2022, 01:07:19 PM
Look man, the guy is just using anything he can at his disposal. Can't blame the guy for taking advantage of what cards he can use to gain profits. It is smart just like how Elon used his cards to his advantage. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth but what can we do? Lol. One thing I can say though is that if we were in their shoes, we won't even be able to assure whether or not we would be doing the same things they did that the majority hates or sees as an unfair course of action.
Exactly, if you have the necessary amount of influence to be able to move a market and sway the opinions of masses then you're going to use it too right so I can agree that we should let this one slide because what can we do about it? Besides, isn't there a possibility that we can use him as an indicator of how the prices are going to move so we can act accordingly?

And that is what they are trying to do. Making people aware of their "decisions" and as someone that, you know, hold some strings to make slight changes, people will really act accordingly.

And usually, "acting accordingly" based on the statements or posts by these people will be their gain moving forward. I was educated that following these people could be useful sometimes but most of the time, they could post something like that and that will distract us from focussing on what should we be doing with our investments.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious and take Caution. on: March 05, 2022, 12:10:15 PM

Some of my friends have been pestering me to check these donations links that they are seeing online to see if they are legitimate or not. Been linking them to this forum and they are not been checking my messages.

It is great that we can use Bitcoin to donate but there are these people that are taking advantage of these matters which is really tiring to see. I know that this matter is not new but with the sensitivity of what's happening, this is really absurd. Knowing the OP of this thread, we will be seeing more updates in this link so I suggest people check this thread for more info. This thread also includes the legitimate addresses set up by that the government of Ukraine.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is limited on: March 08, 2021, 11:43:13 AM
* What future do bitcoin holds for the physically challenge persons with regards to those without sight?
* Or the blind aren’t part of the future that bitcoin has installed for the rest of mankind?

Well, for me when we talk about who can use Bitcoin, what we will be talking about here is that those people that will use and could use it. There are those that don't want to use it or can't use it. Yeah, it is limited in that but that is why we have people that develop technologies for these types of situations and that also means they will have their chance to use it when someone developed something for that problem.

For now, we are limited in terms of those people who don't want to use it and can't use it but for sure, we will be a solution in the future. Just like how people develop technologies for these physically challenged individuals to make their lives better, there will be a technology for them to be able to use bitcoin and other crypto currencies as well.

* What investments plan lies there for the physically challenged persons in same regard?

There are a lot of plans for them but they can't do that for themselves, they need help. This is the reason why I don't think it is limited as long as there are those people like that young person that is ready to help them. There will always be someone that would look at this problem and realize that enough is enough and will find a solution to this.

People might be having a hard time dealing with their problems nowadays but for sure, love will always win.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Central banks around the world want to get into digital currencies on: March 08, 2021, 11:08:44 AM
More like these countries wanted to push their digital currencies since crypto currencies like bitcoin are getting the limelight they needed. While people are still fine using online wallets like Paypal as a payment method, I don't think they have that kind of idea to ride with the government pushing their digital currencies. I mean they can just use these online wallets with no problem.

This will take some time and for sure, there will be a lot of debate between government officials about this. They said that the current government is not against crypto currencies but what about these digital currencies?
14  Economy / Economics / Re: The End of Covid Scam? "Governor Abbott Opens Texas 100 Percent" on: March 07, 2021, 12:26:28 AM
Considering the damage they had the past weeks, this is what they really need. Texas has said to have damages estimated at $130B, which is almost half of the said tax revenue they had at $250B. The people could use the amount they should pay to their property's taxes to fix their house or properties affected by that winter storm.

I don't know about the mask though. They may have the vaccines but if I am a resident there, I would still be following the safety precautions just to be safe.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 06, 2021, 01:37:26 PM
Considering how banks and other things. I think this depends on the user. There are a lot of users in the world and most of their status are in the middle. Poor people won't be affected by this as they will keep on using what is availble. Based on my experience, since I am living in the province, they don't actually use ATMs as they are just farmers and laborers.

Most of the time, they base on fiats that they are getting from selling their crops or their salaries which don't need the help of the banks. I think this is more on the technology rather than the people or users of it.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t be lured by the promises of easy money! on: March 01, 2021, 11:28:57 PM
There are still a lot of people that are so vulnerable in our country. People are still falling from the old antiques of scammers with the lack of knowledge they have combined with their desperation to earn money in the situation we have right now.

Still, I don't see their situation to be a reason for that. It is a scam for a reason and people should know that SEC in our country has been also active because of these scammers getting active taking advantage of these people desperate to earn money. The worst thing is that if you tell them that SEC already warned them about that specific project, they will just answer that it is fake.

That is how brainwashed some people are. There's this situation that people are supporting a scam against the government and when they realized they are supporting a scam, they are begging the government for their help wanting to throw that person in jail or just give back their money. Right now, the money is not given back and there are still a lot of people wanting that person to be in jail.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Afraid of speaking the truth on: February 25, 2021, 12:47:08 PM
You really cant be a good person and be politician in the same time. Everything is about lying and earning those votes for elections. They will say anything just to win and take position.

Well, apparently you can. That is the amazing thing about being a politician. You are a good person and the worst person at the same time. You're doing good things for your country and at the same time, you are F-ng the people up from behind.

If people want to help their country and help other people, better start a charity or an institution for that. Don't run as a politician. A lot of F-ed up things are happening at the back of that closed doors.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Case for a $10,000,000 Bitcoin on: February 23, 2021, 11:01:51 PM
That price is impossible nowadays but as other said, in the future is not impossible. Just look at the price pumps that happened in the last weeks and in the past months. It will still happen in the future that is why it is better for people to hold their bitcoins.
