341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: December 01, 2017, 02:46:01 PM
If bitcon die, i think it will not make altcoin die also. If bitcoin will die all bitcoin users will switch to altcoin, because there many promising altcoin that has potentials. But still i don't think bitcoin will die so just stay calm and enjoy bitcoin.
I do not think so.  I guess if bitcoin dies so as altcoins as the latter's price are based on bitcoin.  If people lose trust on bitcoin which we all know is the most trusted digital currency then people will think twice before they switch to altcoins.  Bitcoin seems the mother of all digital coins.
I agree with you, bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies, that is why other coins are just considered as an alternative coins because bitcoin is the main. If bitcoin will die, which is impossible for now, most of the altcoin will also be affected because most of them have been created based on bitcoin. As we can see in the market the price is being affected too.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: December 01, 2017, 01:54:32 PM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

When we say investing it expend money with the expectation of achieving a profit or material result by putting it into financial schemes, shares, or property, or by using it to develop a commercial venture while when we say trading you will exchange what you have to someone with a good price.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: December 01, 2017, 01:47:22 PM
I currently have 2mil usd for investment.

I wanna invest it on bitcoin. Where can I invest it?

Please give me all the alternatives

thanks!

also, please look at my first post I plan to build a mining farm: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764338.msg17619998#msg17619998

That's a lot of money if I were you invest it on bitcoin itself not on the investments sites or company. Because if you invest that money on investing sites there's a possibility that you might get scammed especially of that huge amount. Just use all you money on buying bitcoin because there's a higher percentage that you will get profit on it.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: December 01, 2017, 01:12:47 AM
If no one will spend their bitcoins and just continue to hold it for a long time the demand and supply of it will be greatly affected. As we can see when the demand for bitcoin is high the price also goes high. But how about when the supply is low. If they're going to continue to hold and refuse to sell the flow of bitcoin will stop at a certain point.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 29, 2017, 11:59:34 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.

I think you are comparing bitcoin to those investment that you stated. Right? If we are going to talk about where is better to invest our money I would choose bitcoin. In our country if you choose to save your money in banks and just wait for it to grow is not recommended especially if you are an investors. In our country bank just has .002% interest per month while in bitcoin because of its volatility we could earn more.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 29, 2017, 10:01:26 AM
My greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is if they shutdown the bitcoin. Maybe government could or other people that professional when it comes in digital cryptocurrency. Aside from that I'm afraid to be hacked and scammed by somebody that's why I am very careful to each decision I will make to my bitcoins.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2017, 09:52:32 AM
what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0

If you I am about to tell to a newbie about bitcoin I would say to him/her that bitcoin price today is $10000 and it might get increase more. All of us here even newbies are attracted to price of bitcoin. That is the number 1 concept that bitcoin made popular and it is decentralized and it is easy to earn that's why a lot of people wants to invest in it.

350  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 28, 2017, 12:06:12 PM
Hi everyone!

I am Niquie, a representative of Coins.ph, ready to help you with your concerns/inquiries/feedbacks regarding Coins and our services. This is going to be the official thread from now on. Some of you might have noticed that I changed my username from NiquieA to Niquie@Coins. NiquieA will no longer be available.

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you all. Smiley

Hi! Thank you po!

351  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippines Board nagiging social media. on: November 27, 2017, 09:20:38 AM

352  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Let's talk about Alt Coins on: November 27, 2017, 09:09:56 AM

Ang alam ko lng bitcoin is a decentralized not owned by the govn't.

354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 24, 2017, 01:47:31 PM
I decide to buy 2 bitcoins with in this week.. Its valuable ? Am I late ? Waiting for your replies ?

Only you can answer your own question. We all people has different point of view on how we look at bitcoin value. For me I can say that it is not right time to buy but to some other people they think that this is the right time. You set your target bitcoin value before you buy bitcoin through this it will answer your question.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 12:36:32 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I think there is no available bank that accepting bitcoins. But if there is a bank that accepting bitcoin as a storage people still going to choose a hardware wallet or online wallet that will hold their bitcoins rather than putting it into bank. Yes it might be safe to store our bitcoin there but I think it will be hassle for users unlike online wallet.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: November 24, 2017, 12:29:54 PM
Just wanted to know people ideas on what is the good and baf impact of BTC  in the economy of a country. I am glad to hear different views regarding this matters and get some ideas from the tenured people in this forum. Your opinions/views are highly appreciated.

Regards,

You know terry there are many positive and negative impacts of bitcoin in the economy of a country but I will just give you one positive and one  negative. The positive effect of bitcoin in our economy is it can reduce the poverty rate in our society because even they don't have a job as long as they know how to earn bitcoin they can survive. But because of this negative effects will come in, and the reason is some people will not find a job and they will just focus only in earning bitcoin that's why a specific country will going to lack of man power.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 24, 2017, 12:18:35 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

Yes it's possible to happen because because bitcoin is volatile. But I think it is far to happen now because of its popularity and because of this it attracts more investors to invest in bitcoin. But we should remember also that bitcoin is volatile so expect the unexpected that it might happen in the future.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: November 23, 2017, 11:45:37 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

That's right. If there's an opportunity to make money on digital cryptocurrencies grab it. To those people who invest on cryptocurrencies while the price was cheap are so lucky because maybe they are rich now. As we can see now the price of bitcoin before was cheap but now look at it. It tripled the value.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: November 23, 2017, 11:20:28 PM
I don't trust all these HYIP websites and I'm looking for a more reliable way to invest.
Any suggestions?

There are still investments program that not scams people but they are few. I would suggest to you the trading though it's a little bit risky too but if you master the strategies in trading you will be profited. Or you may try also the mining, though its also an investments but that's not a scam because all you need to have is a powerful pc.
360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: November 22, 2017, 11:09:03 PM
I am hearing a lot of users' complaint about having a problem transferring their BTC, Nowadays I am not selling it because I am "Hodling" it for future. But I am a bit of scared now because all this news about the people's BTC being hacked.

What should I do If My wallet or BTC gets hacked?

You don't have to worry if you are just holding your bitcoin in you wallet. It cannot be hacked remember that. There's a difference between hacking and scamming.  Maybe they're just being scammed not hacked. Nowadays you should be careful on transferring your btc to other btc wallet. The most famous scamming now is fishing so be careful.
