I've upgraded my sanctuaries to the latest wallet version (1.4.8.4.) and cleaned them as per Togo's guide. Everything seems to be working fine, but I can't seem to vote. Voting failed! Failed to vote 0 time(s). (Check that sanctuaries are DIP3? Also you must wait 3 minutes in-between re-votes due to network rules.) They are in the DIP3 list and I've been getting rewards consistently. Both controller wallet and sanctuary wallets are on the same chain, and they are not on a fork as far as I can tell... Can you please post the voting command including the id you are using, as I voted manually for Togos proposal and it worked but I did it from the rpc. |

Note it does not need to be unlocked for any daily stake transmissions after the wallet is associated. Ill look at making that error msg nicer now. On #2, The pool.biblepay.org is being retired any day now, so it no longer has a faucet or password reset. Maybe they can use the southxchange faucet? I havent seen it yet. On #3, PODC is live, but payments go out 48 hours later. If you look at the end height in the leaderboard, add 205 to that and that should be the block in which the smart contract emits the payment for podc. The daily send escrow height is completely a different process - that just sends proof that the researcher has the collateral. |

Rob, has the payout for POOM changed? The payment stopped on Christmas. I think I got that worked out, but the payment also seems to have dropped in half? Owed was closer to 120k-150k BBP, but now it shows as owed 68k BBP? That won't cover the obligation for the orphan sponsorships at all.
Im sure you knew we were going to 60% PODC and a broken out distribution ratio for poom and kairos per our testnet discussions for the economic changes here: https://wiki.biblepay.org/Economic_Changes_Dec_2019The goal is not to ensure the payment in bbp covers your obligations. The goal is for POOM to partially pay you back for sponsoring orphans. Im sponsoring these orphans out of love, not for the mining rewards. I sponsored more than my revenue amount to keep them from being dropped in this last round. I hope you did not take on too many children that you really did not intend to sponsor in the last round. Obviously with our low price, we are not going to be able to recoup the actual expenses. It might be better if you pay Cameroon with your paypal and look at BiblePay as a stipend for hopeful growth later. Regarding the question of what did I do to enable Cameroon-one, nothing. We are mostly decentralized (yes I know we have some things we still need to improve, like fully decentralizing orphans). But I explained it takes 3 confirms for your join command to be seen by the other nodes. I didnt do anything. |

Rob, isn't there an exec createpurse command that has to be run and funds sent to it?
I recall having to do this for sendgscc healing to work.
Even though I had funds in there since my CPK splits via changequantity, the wallet wanted me to sends funds to it manually?
Would sending these transactions as InstantSend by process registration faster?
We create the external purse for you automatically now (when you type exec rac) if it has not been created. To clarify though all of the GSC system requires the purse now (even WCG). So it simply has to be there for any reward to appear in the leaderboard. We just ask you to fund it manually (we dont check to see if it had a balance already). But you can manually fund it by typing 'exec bankroll qty denom'. Or you can see if you already have enough by checking your 'Christian-public-key' balance. IX wont help in this case, because the non-financial-transactions are required to be 3 deep for other nodes to see them. Some day in the future we can fix that but it requires a hard change. |

So lately Ive come to the 'assumption' that we know more about our own crypto, community and the blockchain in general. I make the assumption that we are good at two of our three dimensions (see the dimension doc), (mining and innovation), but poor in use-cases for our native currency (aside from our shiny new dashpay rpc command). The other assumption I make is we need a lot of new users - through PODC (or, in general). And, we've agreed that we will get our expenses under control, not by limiting mining expenses through QT, but instead by limiting Charity expenses to 10% starting in 2020, by limiting POOM to 10% of our emissions. I've been thinking on the 'solid use case for the native currency' a lot over the last 2 weeks. Im thinking of creating a sermon myself (as a guest pastor), but more like once per month so that I can handle the IT creation of the church itself. Of course the congregation would be able to tithe in BBP, chat in the chat box, and pray for each other. The main service we would provide is exposure to those seeking the gospel that might be housebound (or, are not ready to go to a real church). I can also see a need in the end-times, for pastors who want to talk about Revelations, Hell, Martyrs, Spirits of God, Rapture, etc (like me). But to clarify, I am not ready to say that an online church would be the silver bullet. I feel led to create a service for biblepay that allows physical mail delivery (direct mail integration) and postcards and greeting cards first. Then once that is in beta, focusing on potentially creating an online church. Ive been buying domain names for churches (and also for potential rebranded names). Ive got a couple pretty good names (Saved.nnn for a church, and a three character domain name for a crypto, but I wont post these yet to prevent poaching). |

Looking at our 4 dns servers, I see the problem, apparently when we switched to dynamic ports, we no longer listen on 40,000 by default in these core nodes. I just updated all 4 to use the 40,000 default ports. Please try now. Also please ensure your system time is correct. |

Can you please try upgrading next? Ive already upgraded my sancs and home node, and the exchanges have upgraded, so at this point it would be counterproductive for me to downgrade just to see if they are on a fork. We can ask others, if anyone else is running the old version if they are going on a fork?

Thats the command that Cameroon or Kairos uses to list all payments paid via the 'paysponsorship' command. Note that 'paysponsorship' command now requires the Charity name to make a payment. (It used to be called paycameroon). |
