I am assuming you re-installed your operating system? A couple Qs. I think we will be able to help better if we have clarity on these.
Do you recall ever creating a backup of your "wallet.dat" file?
Are you still using the same hard drive?
And what did you choose as your data directory when you installed Bitcoin Core last time? Did you keep it as default (%APPDATA%\Bitcoin) or choose a different drive/location. Your "wallet.dat" file can usually be found in that directory.
Assuming you didn't create a backup previously nor can find the old "wallet.dat" in your hard drive then it would be a little tougher. All hope is not lost though, because if you're using the same hard drive then with some luck you might be able to recover the old "wallet.dat" file with a data recovery tool.
Yes I installed Windows 10 overtop of itself but chose the option to keep no files. I do not recall creating a wallet.dat file, but if it was a default option I would gone along with it. Yes I am using the same hard-drive. I don't recall which directory I installed Bitcoin core to but it would have been whatever the default is. Are there any data recovery tools you recommend? Zionatin above seems to have a suggestion. I have also used the same tool "EaseUS" in past for data recovery on my Android phone, no experience using it to recover Windows files though. Whatever tool you use, "wallet.dat" is the file to look for. Wish you best of luck, and keep us updated.

I don't see the back of lot C. Is the hologram still intact on that?

This looks nice. Normally I use preev.com to check the current price and for conversions.
It would be nice if you add any other currencies but maybe only euro to start.
Mostly I also visit preev every day because it is the most popular one for years. Since I use chrome, one feature that I like from preev that hope you could implement on https://bitcoinprice.is/ is the price shown in the Tab-bar, as simple as that but really convenient to stay up to date even without having to click the tab to check the price. I prefer your site over preev though because it shows more than just the price. I am not quite sure what you mean by tab bar. Could you show me some example?

Thanks for keeping a watch OP. the funny part is the coin in the image states it is "gold plated" lol maybe they stripped all the gold off...
That's hilarious. They didn't even bother changing the render before getting these made.

I love the frame/showcase thingy it's in. Did the coin originally come in it or did you put it in that yourself? Nice touch regardless.

I didn't think of that. Now that I think of it, that might actually be better for SEO. Just snagged up the domain and will point that domain to the app too. More traffic is always welcome OK! I have a legal statement that your success is due to my information. Do you want to: a) pay me in advance for your profits, so I can get more $$ for my club? b) pay me after you make profits, so I can get more bitcoin for my club? c) go on Judge Judy for free advertising for my club? You get to choose, but keep in mind Judge Judy is on her last season, so it needs to be done swiftly. I would go with option 'c'. Hey that would be free advertising for my site too. Win win for both of us. Hmm, you mean real-time price update? I am already doing that. The app polls Coinbase API every couple seconds and when there's an update in price it should automatically reflect on the page. You don't need to refresh to see live prices.
I think you should rather use Coingecko's API [1]. It is free and open-source (with no data-limiter or any token required!). Also, it's price is based on the average price from various exchangers compared to Coinbase's API which is primarily based on their rates (i guess). Also, it supports dozens of currencies and even those local ones, so it would be easier to query on their API (a little fetch calls with the user's input on what currency they like). I've use it recently for a simple project like this and it was easy to iterate. I'd also like to suggest some minor UI changes especially with the user input, it is somehow off when the box grow bigger upon being active, maybe try having it with a fixed width. The input digits must also be limited to number only (you can restrict input in React's front-end codes AFAIK). And the digits must only be limited to 8 to 12 as it would be enough (no one types their whole digit holdings to convert apparently). [1] - https://www.coingecko.com/en/api#explore-apiNot very familiar with Coingecko API's but will take a look. Thanks for your suggestions.

Why would you wanna be involved with fraud or any illegal activities? Might as well go and rob a bank.
I would stay clear of pump and dump groups if I were you.

Was that BTC mining or some other mining? I recall a mining simulator that went by the name "dogeminer" and it was a huge thing back in the day. Those weren't actually real coins though, just some internet points, hence the name "simulator" That's the only thing that I can think of in realms of "recreational mining" and was around in 2017.

Since they don't allow withdrawals yet, your only choice is either: 1. Let your current bitcoin just sit on Robinhood(while waiting for them to allow withdrawals) and just start buying "real" bitcoin on exchanges that let you withdraw 2. Just sell every bitcoin you have on Robinhood and use that money to re-buy on exchanges Ultimately, it's really great that you got interested in having self-custody over your funds. But just a word of warning, you can lose everything if you don't know what you're doing. So before going this recommended path, make sure to educate yourself first. +1 Keep in mind, if you go with option two, assess your risks beforehand. The money could take a few days to hit your bank account after you sell your BTC on Robinhood, and BTC could be well above (or below) the price that you sold at on Robinhood. If it's a small amount I would keep it on Robinhood and wait till they allow withdrawals. However if it's a large amount of BTC then I would sell on Robinhood and buy someplace else like Kraken or Coinbase that allows BTC withdrawals.

They have supported ETH on their platform for many years. I think they also mentioned a while back that they hold a fair bit of ETH. Only recently they have turned into "shilling" mode though. I bet this is one of the reasons behind the recent surge in ETH price, the shilling by the twins and also the fact that ETH futures are launching on CME in the next couple months. That is also probably garnering interest of the investors.

50k is well within reach. I think this year we could see Bitcoin go all the way up to 80-90k. That is when I assume a lot of holders will be taking profit as well as traders who got in late last year cashing out when they 3-4x their money. We could see a correction when/if that happens.
Just a speculation.
