341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA BACK IN THE GAME? 24.2% isn't too bad on: January 24, 2018, 11:36:02 AM
It's a good news thay South korea is back into this game but i think 24% is a bit too high, i don't know how is the public service over there but if it's good then at least people can still enjoy the tax money. The potential in crypto is big so i think crypto still popular over there.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: January 24, 2018, 10:45:51 AM
Yeah j agree that raiblocks definitely deserve a top 10 place right now. It has a lot of potential and it's better than some whitepaper project like trx. I bought it when the price still about $1 and i hope more people will know about raiblocks as it is more suited as digital currency compared to others.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price is dropping so when is the right time to buy? on: January 24, 2018, 09:15:39 AM
I realize no one knows when the drop will level off. Im wondering though since i just bought a bunch more yesterday and lost a bunch more by today (lol never spend more than you can afford to lose) when do you foresee this leveling off and time to buy other currencies? Or how would you judge when the right time to buy is besides checking the mkt hourly and driving your self nuts? Id buy more today if i see a shift towards a leveling off however when i see 10-40% drops daily id like to mitigate losing hundreds of dollars per coin in a day when I buy more of them to hold onto.
Wait and see is the right decision if you want to buy when the price is dropping but it still hard to buy at the exact bottom so as long as the price is quite cheap i don't mind buying it as it will recover and i will already in profit. I always set stop losses so if the price go down i have the opportunity to buy back the coin cheaper.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token distribution: why is it important? on: January 23, 2018, 09:42:00 AM
Hi guys,

When looking at Alt Coins to invest in I have seen in the past some people emphasize the need to look at token distribution.
What are the salient points to look out for? Why is this important?

TIA
If only a few people hold the majority of the token then it's easy for them to manipulate the price on the market but if there are a lot of holder then the price will be determined by the supply and demand, it's very important to avoid market manipulation.
345  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 23, 2018, 09:10:17 AM
Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

Of course I'm not worried, if you or someone else worry about their bitcoin then they probably invest more than what can they afford to lose. They put too much money into crypto and they worry about the price a lot. I'm not worry because i still in profit and even if the price decrease more i will keep holding it because i believe crypto is the future.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: January 23, 2018, 08:03:37 AM
Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
No, i won't be interested at all because phone is not made for cryptocurrency mining. If you mine on your phone then it's literally shorten the life of the phone and the risk of it's broken is getting bigger while the amount that you got from mining is not that great. If someone want to make a coin mineable then they can create something that can be mined with gpu.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: January 22, 2018, 09:23:15 AM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I don't know why kyc is needed for bounty participants and so far i haven't get into bounty campaign who require me to so do kyc first. I think this is done purely because there's a lot of multiple accounts that try to cheat the bounty campaign but it is also easy to bypass this as they can borrow their friend identity.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 22, 2018, 07:39:59 AM
Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?
In my opinion no, i have joined several airdrops before and most of them don't even deliver the airdrop and the one that send the airdrop is also useless because the token has no value in the market, especially now when you have to pay to get listed at etherdelta, surely this will end the airdrop process as it's hard to enter the market.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many clones of BTC. In or not? on: January 21, 2018, 09:21:58 AM
There are many clones of BTC thats coming out with so much hype. So many versions like E-BTC and many others that says they are better than BTC. Are they valuable? Or will BTC always be the King?
I won't buy that kind of thing if they only a clone of bitcoin or even worse the one like ebtc. I have no problem with other alts that claim they can be better than bitcoin with faster transaction and cheaper fee but they should provide something new like what raiblocks do. If they only fork bitcoin and claim to be a better bitcoin then they are not valuable.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What fears did you have when you first started dealing with Cryptocurrencies? on: January 21, 2018, 07:37:34 AM
When you first went head first into the unknown, what were your thoughts? What were you afraid the most?  Huh
For me i'm nervous to send my first bitcoin transaction to bittrex, although the amount is only small but once you send the payment you can't cancel it so there's always a nervous feeling whether i send it to the correct address or not. By now i am already used to it and sometimes i don't even double check it anymore.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 21, 2018, 05:05:00 AM
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.
A house and a car is my initial plan, but after in crypto for several months then my plan right now is to have enough money to spend for the rest of my life. I feel like i can quit my job in 5 years at this rate and if crypto really become so popular then it can happen faster. Either way I'm really grateful that i am patient to cash out my assets.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if coin is overpriced or undervalued on: January 20, 2018, 02:17:33 PM
Usually i look at what they have achieved compared to the price, if they already released a lot of updates then it's normal if the price is expensive but if they only have whitepaper and people hype it too much then it is certain that the coin is overvalued. I will also avoid some coin that get shilled a lot on twitter or YouTube.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One good thing about the crash on: January 17, 2018, 12:59:35 PM
This crash has one good thing. Seems like Bitconnect is finally gone  Cool
Yeah definitely a good thing that this crash manage to wreck bitconnect. I don't feel sorry for people who put their money there, there's been a lot of warning and scam accusation about bitconnect and they are still greedy and now they reap what they sow.
354  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: jangan panik on: January 17, 2018, 12:57:21 PM

355  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Jawaban jika Ada audit keuangan on: December 31, 2017, 05:48:35 AM
Asalkan memang bukan duit perusahaan mah ga usah takut.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5k to invest : BTC, Waves, ETH, on: December 21, 2017, 09:48:47 AM
I like bitcoin ethereum waves and neo because they have a solid foundation and the community behind them already large and the coin itself already established in crypto. I never heard about tron but i saw it pumped more than 1000% in recent weeks.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find coins with potential on: December 21, 2017, 09:28:37 AM
Usually i check coinmarketcap for lower marketcap coin and after that check the announcement thread, is it active or not, the dev is still working on the coin or it is already left behind. Join the slack / telegram, potential coin has a lot of activity in the chat room.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Private Coin? on: December 21, 2017, 08:50:30 AM
Among the private coin i like monero the most, simply because it's the most developed and already has a huge community behind it and the price keep growing. There's some new privacy coin like spectrecoin but it's still new.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: December 21, 2017, 08:14:10 AM
It was one on the issue Satoshi saw the world needed it. But as far now it mainly use is trading for speculation by the newbie and holding by one who bought it years ago.

Of course it needs to be legalised FIRST somewhere. But after that a, will you buy something online and pay in BTC ?
Or it’s just a form of investment like gold was a decade ago ?

I used to use it to buy things online but after the increase in value recent months i stopped using it anymore. The last time i use bitcoin is when i use it to buy ledger nano s. Right now bitcoin is only for investment for me because i feel like it's a waste to use it as payment option.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short-term profit altcoin! on: December 21, 2017, 06:30:41 AM
Hello guys, I am looking to invest some money into an alt coin that will give me short-term profits over the next weeks!

Any suggestions?

Thank you Smiley
Nxt is really good short term because there's an upcoming fork on 25th December so a lot of people will buy it to get ignis airdrop. Bittrex even support it so the price will rise even more in the upcoming days.
