341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's plan to sideline bitcoin on: December 17, 2018, 11:33:07 AM
Wait, a digital currency for China? And the purpose of this is to protect China from foreign technologies? If I were a Chinese citizen why would I even bother using this digital currency? Of course I'll just do usual things when I do shopping because it does not make any difference because the government is still in control of it.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: December 16, 2018, 09:24:40 AM
a few days ago hot news / updates about ethereum made me and maybe a lot excited, and ETH prices rose markedly after the next day, it kinda showed a little backward or as I thought. Now ETH prices continue to fall! What caused this? Am I missing something?

The news doesn't have anything to do with the price. The positive news may effect Ethereum in a good way in the future. But still we don't know when it will affect the price of the Ethereum since we are in a red market situation. Or maybe, it affected the price in a little way but still didn't able to stop the red situation.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: December 13, 2018, 12:28:10 PM
I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

There are people who are saying that investors does not trust the ICOs anymore because most of it are scams. That is not the issue here.

Yes, unforunately there are ICOs that are good but they are left unnoticed by a lot of people which leads to the failure of the ICO. And yes, there is a huge possibility that if the ICO management is great, then all they need is a good funding and it will be enough to make the ICO profitable.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BIGGEST Thing Happening In Crypto, Nobody Is Talking About This? on: December 13, 2018, 12:21:59 PM
This Federal Reserve policy change Is the BIGGEST thing happening In crypto right now.

Bitcoin is close to putting in the low and setting up for an epic bull run. Legendary Trader Paul Tudor Jones shares his insight into a Fed policy shift. Learn why that is the most important thing happening in the cryptocurrency markets right now.

Super interesting, learn why,
https://youtu.be/mVzm_f05Cvg

Not a 100% guarantee that this will happen. For me, it is a big thing but I dont think that it is the biggest thing happening right now. I also think that it is a good thing base on the video and I hope it will help the bull run.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: we are going to - NEW PUMPS. on: December 12, 2018, 11:55:51 AM
I know for sure it will pump but No one really knows when it is going to pump. The only thing that the investors can do now is just sit back and look for altcoins that are great while the market is down and wait for huge pumps to happen.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need KYC for generosity? on: December 12, 2018, 11:53:44 AM
For me, it is unreasonable for a bounty campaign to require KYC in order for the bounty participants to receive the tokens. Because at the first place, they dont really need that information. And some bounty campaigns announce it in the end of the campaign which pretty irritating for I.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need bitcoin in the modern world? on: December 12, 2018, 11:50:17 AM
The world doesn't need bitcoin. But we need bitcoin and why we should make it stay. If we are talking about money, there are still a lot of ways to earn it. But because of bitcoin, it opened an opportunity for us to earn extra money or earn more money.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long it will take for altcoins to become popular? on: December 11, 2018, 07:17:45 AM
I think the reason why other cryptocurrencies are not popular is because of the price. If you are a normal person in the outside world, there is a low chance that you will be familiar with a coin that has a pow price value. Bitcoin became popular because of its price, and later on the people talked about it and speculated what will happen in the next few years.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business?? on: December 11, 2018, 07:14:11 AM
It's not that they dont accept bitcoin. Some comapnies or business are aware of it but they dont want to adapt it and there are companies that are successfully adopted it. Bitcoin is popular especially in year 2017 when it boomed really hard that is why companies are also looking for a way to adopt it.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: December 10, 2018, 06:58:15 AM
You really can't say it is dead just because the price went down a little or the price went down really hard. If you're gonna ask me, I think the basis for saying that a coin is dead are things like people have no interest in the coin anymore, no one is investing in it, and the price is stable in a negative way.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: December 10, 2018, 06:51:11 AM
In any case, you haven't took the loss unless you already dumped your coins. There is always hope in cryptocurrency especially for the coins who has a good background behind them. And during this time all you could do is look for the coins that are worth investing.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best altcoins when the bull coming on: December 10, 2018, 06:48:34 AM
I think the best altcoins when the bull is coming are the coins that fall less than the others. But still, coins like Ethereum, waves, and stratis will go up like the top 10 coins that are in the market right now.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: December 06, 2018, 10:49:41 AM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than other than Ethereum.

I totally agree with it. Ethereum was released in 2015 and it is performing well up until now. It performed better than any other ICO that existed and didn't fail the investors. It only looks bad because of the market situation right now but I am expecting more from next year.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In South Korea, cryptocurrencies will tax. on: December 06, 2018, 10:48:23 AM
I hope koreans will find away to get a way with the tax. I hate the fact that government wants to even do this in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is supposed to be anonymous and decentralized. If they're smart enough, they should get away with it. And also, I wanna know how the korean government will do the taxation.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency: A Personal Race on: December 05, 2018, 03:28:41 AM
Crypto currency is a personal race. You trading your coin doesn't make you smarter  than d dude who want to hold for long term. Not everyone has the strength to face computer to read ta, ama, bollingr etc. . Let those who bought at 19k atleast have some peace. Is upto them to know when to sale or hold.

I can vouch on this. Since the prices are really volatile, you really can't predict a 100% what will happen. Focusing on the team project and the members are just one of the few basis we have for a coin. But still, luck will still play a role. You became rich, because you trusted the coin and you waited and waited.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's The Loser Here? on: December 05, 2018, 03:24:30 AM
With the situation on ground, I'm  seeing Bitcoin at $3000 before the end of December. http://cryptoinfowatch.com/bitcoin-price-performance-show-november-as-the-worst-month-in-7-years/

I am also speculating the same way. But for me it's not really a big deal. Even though this is not the year for crypto, I am hoping for the better in the year 2019. Good investors right now are not really focusing on the price but investing on good and cheap altcoins.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge from the bearish run on: December 04, 2018, 11:35:50 AM
Let's recap the lesson from the recent bearish run, before u invest in any cryptocurrency.

1. make sure u do an intensive research,
2. never stop believing in urself and when things go wrong, u will learn a big lesson and be happy u did your best than following a footstep u know nothing about,

Good luck

But still, luck still plays a role here. Even though a coin or a project is really good, it doesn't mean it is going to boom. Just like in this period of time, it is a red market and the investors are not earning any money right now.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help, actually a little guidance. on: December 03, 2018, 10:26:44 AM
With there being so many options out there for obtaining cryptocurrency what do you think is the best? Would it be Cloud mining, trading with your own money, just buying and holding, spending the 2,000 plus dollars and buying a mining rig, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to these things and would love to know some insight from people who deal with this constantly. Thank you very much

To be honest, every way of getting altcoins or bitcoin is a good thing. It just depend on what coin you want to get. And also, your speculation and research are also very important because that will be the basis of your investments.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a religion on: December 03, 2018, 10:24:51 AM
Read the Bitcoin "investors" in this forum and you always see them say the same: "I believe..."

- I believe Bitcoin will go up
- I believe HODL is good
- I believe we will see adoption
- I believe it will go to the moon

and so and...and so on.... and so on

You have no understanding - only belief

Therefore Bitcoin for many people in here is a religion - it is about belief and not about facts and understanding

And religion is an extremely poor investment strategy

Believing that bitcoin will go up, believing that hodling is a good idea, believing that it will get adopted by large corporations, and believing that it will skyrocket to the moon, does not make you have any right that other people consider it as a religion. And that doesn't make an intellectual in cryptocurrency related things and doese not mean you have a better understanding. Even the richest people here are just speculating and does not claim that they will be 100% correct all the time.
