343  Economy / Economics / Re: Appreciation of bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 08:32:16 AM
The much talked about ride is on, to bullish. Who is riding with it ......
Shocked

I really do appreciate it for several reasons. One is of course the profits you make from various sources.
Secondly bitcoin and everything related to me is a source of fun and knowledge.
Never before I actually studied something in depth as I did cryptocurrencies in the past few moths.
So it made me from a procrastinator to an ambitious man guy interested in something.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: who own the world's biggest bitcoin wallet? on: October 15, 2017, 08:26:44 AM
if satoshi nakomoto mined 1 million bitcoins in early days. who own the second worlds biggest bitcoin wallet?  Grin

Actually I came across an article in which it says we're all trading with only 1 percent of bitcoin and other 99 percent is in hands of few people.
Now that probably isn't fully true but it's still scary.
These few people are anonymous,so they not obliged to anyone. They can all dump it at once and completely destroy bitcoin as far as they're concerned.
We should just hope they truly believe in cryptocurrency idea.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 15, 2017, 08:24:31 AM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

People mostly do it out of greediness.
It's just unbelievable how some people are willing to put more knowledge, brains and energy into scamming others than doing something legally.
I always say  if they would just put 50% percent of that effort into something legal and positive they would be even more successful.
On the other hand there are people who as persons are not evil but do scam others out of necessity and poverty.
These are the ones I feel most sorry of.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: October 15, 2017, 08:22:25 AM
I want to talk about salaries. How much $ do you have left after paying taxes, rent, and basic expenses (electricity, water)
I get $10 000/y like a fucking slave
My spending basic is $5 000 / year, including food, $2 500 without food
I live in the former SSSR
Another reason to move away

Also they give me these communistic so called "benefits" when you get like prepaid cards for predefined services

https://www.facebook.com/televize.polar/videos/1047399295339540/

While I'm not from former USSR I also live in ex-socialist country,Croatia.
It's funny how the situation is similar here.
Your $10 000 a year is considered middle class income here.
To make the situation worse,I'm currently a student living away from home,so I survive off of what my parents give me.
After I spend on rent and various bills I'm left with literally nothing,so any extra small profit I can get is great.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: October 15, 2017, 08:10:32 AM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?

If you already have an experience in trading an you're doing great, then you're already ahead of 90% people here  Cheesy.
Yeah even though the price is currently pumped I believe it's still good time to study about crypto currencies and invest.
In future bitcoin will just continue to reach all time highs,so it's still a good time to jump in,and for you that should not be complicated.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Seeking advice in cryptocurrency investment/trading on: October 15, 2017, 08:02:50 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm new to the bitcoin scene I knew about bitcoin for a while now but never tried to participate  due to lack of money, so now that i got my first salary ever im thinking to invest/trade in bitcoin rather than buying useless stuff that i don't need.

I'm thinking to invest/trade litecoins because they are more affordable.

So how to start and where ?

Well first of all,I know you have the feeling of missing out,but don't rush into trades.
Before investing do a proper research,This includes at least one month period of following news, updates and price action.
Only when you can comfortably predict the price yourself do start trading.
The second thing, investing in a coin just because it's affordable is the worst thing you can do.
After you do your due diligence and actually educate yourself a bit you'll understand why.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: October 15, 2017, 07:28:52 AM
what do you think about pump and dump?  did you ever trade on pump and dump event? can you give few tips for how to make money from this events? what i need to look for?

I don't think pumps and dumps are good,it just shows that 90% of people are trading just for profit and not because they believe in a given coin.
There are always worst, scammy people involved, these are often small youtube channels,
with 2,3 k subscribers which blatantly lie promising quick profits to uneducated newbie people, whose lives are probably already tough and f-ed up.
I would rather advise you to join fair, quality project and enjoy the road trip and earning money along the way.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: October 15, 2017, 07:01:53 AM
I am new here bt don't understad how improve trading. I am already loss many altcoin. Now I am improve my trading.give some tips about this

First you have to learn how to analyze the market. There are 3 types analysis you can do.
Technical, fundamental and sentiment analysis.Technical analysis is studying the charts and past market data, primarily price and volume.
Fundamental is looking at the economy, politics and various statements which can affect the price.
And sentiment is analyzing people's thoughts and opinions in order to form the sentiment of the market.
When you learn how to do these 3 things to determine which way the market is heading,it will be much easier for you to do successful trades.

352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: October 15, 2017, 06:17:41 AM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?

If you plan on buying for a long term investment, always look for coins with an actual value.
In order to differentiate the good ones from the shit coins your priority is research and learning as much as you can.
This kind of coins are usually unique and actually offer some new ideas and concepts.
Now,if your primary interest is making profit then it's a different thing.
Then look for coins which have established community, and a lot of supporters.
They are often objectively nothing new and innovative, but they create hype and then dump in price,on which you can make some bucks.

At It Again: Dimon Breaks Vow, Says Bitcoin Buyers Are Stupid and Will 'Pay the Price'
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/13/jamie-dimon-says-people-who-buy-bitcoin-are-stupid.html

His daughter, who bought 2 bitcoins, is probably telling him to shut up.

Lol I just watched the video. In the beginning, for someone uninformed,he even seems credible.
But that little detail in the end,in which he indirectly calls his daugher stupid for owning 2 bitcoins,is an obvious sign he is purposely exaggerating and humiliating
everything bitcoin related.
It actually gives you a hint he is kinda afraid of bitcoin being too popular.
Remember, half of the things he said in the videos are lies, and these kind of people never do or say anything without a reason or a motive,
especially if they're genuinely not interested in something,as he says.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2008 Again on: October 14, 2017, 07:15:26 AM
Imagine if tomorrow occurs a crash like 2008. What do you think will happen to the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?

It is actually something everyone should take into consider,as it's practically inevitable.
The question is not if,but when, and the predictions are bad.
USA just removed the debt limit of $17.8 trillion, and it already increased to $20,5 trillion, and this just sped the things up.
It is estimated the crash will be worse ,not from the one in 2008,but than the one in 1929!
So earn as much money as you can whilst things are still holding up,because we're awaiting some hard belt-tightening.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 14, 2017, 06:47:37 AM

Actually, reading your post an idea came my mind.We distribute all the old smartphones to poor people,or enable them an easy access to internet.
That way ,if you feel generous enough you can,at every moment, donate some of your cryptocurrency money directly to someone in need.
How amazing would that be,and I always hated all those charity organisations getting rich off of commissions.
Now you can directly and instantly make someone's life better and actually communicate with them. How awesome times we live in.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: October 14, 2017, 06:28:25 AM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

It is interesting how some famous and rich people tend to say "it was all luck" , while the others, just hard work.
Once I stumbled upon a statement which I like and believe is true -"making money is essentially increasing your chances of being lucky,by hard work" ,
so these two are kind of interconnected. The same is with trading.
It's still 'guessing' ,or 'gambling' but by hard work and with being smart you're increasing your chances of being lucky and getting good profits.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Mental barrier stops from buying BTC on: October 14, 2017, 06:19:31 AM
Not so long ago we've all whitnessed bitcoin at price 2k usd per btc. Now it is 4k. Sometimes before buying BTC I have a strong feeling that the price will fall pretty soon and I hould wait a bit before buying. Usually it all ends bad. Anyone have the same problem? How are you dealing with it?

Yeah I had the same problem, when price was around 1000 dollars.
There were like to 'camps' of people, ones who advocated the opinion that it's the all time high and that the price will just be falling further on.
It was actually true until price started reaching all time high again this year, but I still thought it won't go over 2000$.
The other group of people were stating that was just the beginning, and the price could reach more than 10,000$.
Initially I was more sceptical, but now that I've seen price just tearing down 3k,4k and then 5k barriers, now I'm convinced there's nothing to stop bitcoin price from rising in future.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: October 14, 2017, 06:09:44 AM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/

And who exactly is the government, who do they represent?Us,everyday people of course.
So the only thing to do is to start worldwide protests. When your freedom is taken away by banksters' and rich people interests,
so is your freedom and there's nothing else you can do.
World would anyway be so much better place without this prosperity sucking leeches.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: October 14, 2017, 05:53:34 AM
While creating this topic, bitcoin is standing at 618 USD. So I want to know your prediction for the year of 2017. What is the milestone you have targeted?

Will it be able to hold its strength at 750 USD by the end of 2017? Voice your opinions.

Well if you are reading your thread again, you're probably laughing now.
It's funny to read these predictions knowing the price is 5800$ now, hopefully you held the coins.
My calculation for the end of 2017 is it will reach the price of around 6500$.By then I hope to accumulate it as much as I can.
