always nice to wake up on Thursday and see new coins for reinvestments, fortunately, crowd is behaving really like crowd in old time on real stock exchanges, so it is pretty predictable to react for dips and pullbacks  Grin
342  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoin market trend analysis- so far the most reliable through 2-month test on: July 02, 2013, 09:46:18 AM
One more time did the blogger offer users the accurate Bitcoin movements yesterday. From May 1st, people who have been keeping an eye on his forecasts on Bitcoin trend have evaded losses from slump and taken more or less profit. If you guys like and trust him, I’ll open a thread here on behalf of him focusing on Bitcoin movement so that you may earn more.

PS: the blogger is my boss and he is also called “ghost trader” in China.

The following analysis quoted from the blogger published at: http://weibo.com/796COM, July 1st (GMT+8)
Bitcoin market movement outlook:
From the 4-hour chart, the current correction price is relatively weak. Standing at $100 has become a strong resistance. It is important to look out for sudden power of selling short when buying long has not effectively shown. If there is no powerful buy orders to pull the price back to $100 above in a short time, a lot of people will begin to sell. The next range should possibly stand at $80-$85.

We could see that the Bitcoin price has been way down beginning from BTC-China and then Mt. Gox. It is also approaching the $80-$85 target range which he mentioned in his blog(see the above). But he did not advise selling at a loss when it is under $90. The price rebounds easily throughout whole night’s persistence in selling short and available for rally. On the other hand, short-term buying long is preferable when it is around $80.

If anyone is interested in this topic, I'll continue to keep it updated.

Great work tonight guys!  I think we are finally on the way towards where we need to be.  While we are waiting to hear back from Ken, could someone with a legal background look at the current AMC offering on Bitfunder to see if there is any possibility and or loophole that would allow an acquisition of VMC by AMC?  Ken has insisted that as it currently stands, there is no way for that to be done, but it would not hurt to run over it to be sure.  This would certainly be the easiest way to move forward on getting everything under one roof, but if Ken can legally not modify the contract, then we will have to go about it a different way.  Currently, the plan that is being drawn up is as following:

Ken will create a VMC offering at some point (when is anyone's guess).
Trading will continue on both offerings, AMC and VMC.
At some point, AMC holders will have the option to trade AMC shares in for an equal number of VMC shares.
We can assume that when the trade options are made available, Ken will officially announce VMC's acquisition of AMC, and will set a closing date.

Ken is still looking for feedback and suggestions from the community, so please keep them coming.  Great job guys!

I hope that AMC/VMC merging will happen so that gets the biggest issue out of the way. My next suggestion would be for us to work on a capped shares in the new security. We should have the shares capped at a reasonable number to avoid diluting the shares anytime in the future. This way the shares can continue to be valuable. If Ken can flood the market with massive amounts of shares at anytime this will dilute the investors shares and dividends will decrease. I don't know what the numbers of shares would be the best but would like to hear back from the community to discuss this matter.

Number of shares should be enought to cover capex with no dilution possible without shareholders voting

I have a specific grievance with BitcoinMegastore, who has admitted that he is seeking only to undermine AMC. He has admitted to abusing the bitcointalk trust system simply because he disagrees with users who support AMC because "they must be shills". Personally, I am not a shill. I am a real person with a family, a job, a house, and a dog. My investments and my bitcoins matter to me. A merchant abusing the trust system for no other reason than spite is a staggering offence. How can any person trust BitcoinMegastore in a transaction if he is willing to bear false witness of transactions simply to abuse the trust system on this forum? Would he do the same on bitcoin-otc? Would he take you bitcoins, but fail to send you goods from his website simply because he dislikes one of your investments?

I am appalled by your childish behaviour.

Do you understand what trust system is, at all? "Risked BTC amount is money that the person could have stolen or did steal." Got it now? If I
think someone is a scammer or is helping scammer I have full right to express my opinion on that and warn unsuspecting people of proven or
potential scam. It is called damage prevention. You might be fine with everyone and everything until shits happen but that does not mean I or
anyone else must use the same approach.

As for my transactions and store, first thing you need to learn is to check person's past activity on this forum and look for evidence of scam
or attempted scam and second you need to learn how store works, e.g. who is sending you printed items and so on. Do your homework before
you address me or my store again and eventualy call me a shill or scammer, thanks.

It would be cool if you stop talking about me. I have stated my mission here. I'm not selling you anything here. This thread is not about me or
my store but AMC "project" so stay on topic. If you don't like what I post just ignore me just like I ignored loltard and few others so I can focus
on important matters here.

your posts seem to be more promotion for your own store than any real arguments against AMC. Even some issues about AMC/VMC will be OK to be solved soon and pressure to get more transparency etc. are OK. Still, some of the posts here I read are really stupid, especially yours... anyway, good luck with your prints for kids

It makes me happy that amc price is rising but my AM shares are going down now...

The solution is to BUY AMC and sell AM.  The writing is on the wall.

I think some diversification is OK, I have also AM shares and others, do not want to be in one security only... Grin

354  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER is a play on BTC/FIAT value on: June 25, 2013, 06:00:36 AM
one day it will be maybe not necessary to change btc to fiat and maybe one day those with fiats will desperately try to change their collapsing fiats for btc, or gold, silver or any other limited and not possible to print assets. So, we have to be patient and find ways to live with btc without trying to change them for fiats

Ive just noticed garr255 (Cognitive) had/has a vote. If anyone followed the 'Shillgate' affair, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=238474.0 ,its at best highly questionable, at worst, a complete farce.

Everything considered, he did apologize and offered reparation. I just hope he realized that it's never worth it.

Anyway, you do raise an important issue, similar to what I said above. Why would any moderator that is also the issuer of a competing asset would want another competitor in there? Especially since votes can be anonymous, so true motives can be hidden.

Yes, that is the main point/issue.

Im also considering how it must feel for established and experienced operators, to know that their venture could be decided by an 18 year old, who currently has shown themselves to have questionable judgement.... he is 18, of course his judgement is going to let him down! Despite the fact that he is a smart cookie, who has attempted to right a wrong, and will surely go far, why afford him that much influence?
Thats a rhetorical question, as ive kinda adjusted my expectations of the mods, issuers, and operators of late, and dont feel the need to make it an issue anymore.

Sorry if off topic, but needed to be high-lighted.

that´s true... get AMC listed on cryptostocks then...
356  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: June 24, 2013, 07:58:23 AM
Hey Ken, I just seen an AMC-PT listing on BCT-TC. Looking at the details, I noticed that the contact details was for an address in London. Did you list this yourself or has someone else beaten you to the punch?

https://btct.co/security

I don't see it on the securities list. Am i missing something?

It is getting voted on, Please lobby anyone that can vote for our approval.

get news on frontpage of btct.to, I guess it will not take so much effort to be approved... I do not have enough shares to vote unfortunately. Will you get AMC on cryptostocks as well? I like this web due to fast trading, btct.to and bitfunder are usually too slow to launch charts on iphone

Thanks for investing in AMC.  Yes, you are right about being to optimistic with what we have now.  Now lets look down the line a bit.  We have a total of 5.651 TH/s coming on in the next 2 months, plus 10% royalties from VMC for machine sales and chips sales.  So, just use the 5.651 TH/s in 2 months and estimate what the dividends will be with an increase in difficulty.  Use 40,000,000 shares as that is all that gets dividends for the next 11 months.

I have very high hopes for AMC (currently holding a large number of shares).  Being completely pragmatic however forces me to temper my optimism.  Below are the reasons why I've been holding at .0008 and not buying too many more.

1) The remaining 15 million shares need to be sold before the price will appreciably rise.  Investors appear to be unwilling (rightly so) to pay more than .0008/share when Ken could post the remaining shares at .0008 at any time.  I don't know what the solution to this problem is, possibly offer 5 mill shares on each btct.co and havelockinvestments.com?  Ken's goal was to let the market decide the price before issuing the remaining shares, but the looming flood of shares is artificially keeping the share price down.

2) We appear to be behind the ball attempting to design and sell 110nm mining rigs when 65nm are starting to ship and 28nm look to be shipping in September.  I'm not sure how much interest there will be today in pre-ordering a fast-hash 80 device at current price/power points.  I don't see hardware sales positively effecting share price until we can get in front of the ball.  I could see interest in pre-orders for 28nm chips if a reference PCB design was published and more was known about production agreements.

That being said, I have high hopes, but don't really see the share price moving in the short term.

definitely get your stocks traded also on cryptostocks and btct.to, more liquidity needed and it would be easier to trade as well. Bitfunder is OK, but I trade on 4 other apllications and enjoy all of them. It is also good to have shares of companies I bought in different exchanges to protect some part of portfolio

just for fun, I have already created wallet about 2-3 weeks ago. I got for free some 1000 XRP. Then I was not logged about 2 weeks. Now I tried again, my user name is same /i made a picture with iphone/ and I use 3-4 same passwords, really complicated. Any of them was not working. So, I decided for fun to create new wallet... what a fun, I could create again same user name Cheesy so here is my address again, send me some XRP and then cancel my wallet again Cheesy funny

So, I have now 2 wallets with same user name, 1 with not working password, with 2 different security keys... sounds like? scam?
