That's the "All Others" group, though - how do you know it's a solo miner?

My guess is that by "new wallet" what they really mean is "new seed node" - it's just easier to say "new wallet" to people.

Yeah, neoscrypt coins definitely favour Nvidia.

MASTERNODE CHECK TOOL: http://magnetwork.io/checkmn/The Magnet masternode check page allows you to quickly check the status of any masternode on the network. Filter and find masternodes from their IP, public key or collateral transaction ID. Verify rewards received with direct link to explorer. Verify the status (ENABLED, EXPIRED, VIN_SPENT / REMOVE / POS_ERROR) and last seen time. Mobile friendly I like this! Very useful! Thanks!

One of the cool things about Lux that I don't think anybody has talked about is the proximity randomization thing when it comes to rewards. Most other MN coins, when you first get your node launched you're at the back of the line, which means you can wait 24+ hours before your first reward. And if you have any problems with connectivity during that time, guess what? You go right back to the back of the line. With Lux, every node has a chance to earn a reward at any moment. It's new - it's cool - and it's another way Lux is just a *little bit* better than most other MN coins.

It's definitely still profitable *today*. Your guess is as good as anybody's as to whether it will still be profitable *tomorrow*.
Rule of thumb - crypto is such a high-risk investment, you should think of it like poker. Don't put anything into it that you can't afford to lose.

Coinsmarket has since shut down their xios wallet, and I assume if it gets re-opened to the correct chain my balance will be present.
There is a chance that they might re-assign addresses to users upon relaunch. In which case, the coins will be well and truly lost. But that's an unlikely scenario I would say.

That's a promising DASH fork. Roadmap is really ambitious.
"Ambitious" is the perfect word for GoByte!
|
|
|
Yeah , Mr. burnedbyfees - a wrong fork is like a parallel universe. Nothing that happens there can affect what happens in your universe. But you have to somehow make it back to your own universe before things can get back to normal./
|
|
|
Yep - I'm just trying to add some reality to your complaints, which are indeed VERY valid.
Frankly, I have no complaints. I have been enjoying stockpiling Xios at this pricepoint!

It's not unusual for ANY coin to fork. A new wallet will not insure a fork-less future for XIOS. In fact, eliminating forks shouldn't be the focus of the wallet release.
Additional exchanges will like require investment by the devs. It's not typical for a coin of this size to be community funded for several exchanges.
And I certainly didn't intend to indicate that the fork was unusual or that a new wallet will prevent it from ever happening again. Pretty darn sure my post didn't say anything even resembling those things. But a new wallet will be needed to address it, and that will be required prior to listing on a new exchange can even be entertained as a possibility.

No - they just have to resync to the consensus chain, run a repairwallet and their coins will be back where they belong.

Awesome man! Great success!

I'd encourage you to read my post directly above yours. Short answer...
No new wallet = Never Topia
|
|
|
I would like to see this coin listed in cryptopia
No new exchanges will be possible until a new wallet is released eradicating the stray forks and addressing the orphan issue. In fact, Xios is fortunate that it's listed on Yobit insomuch as any self-respecting exchange would have disabled their wallet long ago given what has happened to the network.

wtf is happening with price? from 0.00004 into 0.000019? pfff nice dump...party is over...
Price dip was the beginning of the party for me at least. Managed to scoop up enough coins overnight to finally launch a node.

With 13 MNs, each one would earn a theoretical average of 55 LUX per day. I say theoretical because until the new wallet is released and wallet enforcement begins, there are about 15-20% of POS stakes that continue to go unshared with the masternode network.

According to an off-the-cuff tweet, sounds like it's going to be 1,500 TRIGs.
|
|
|
All we can do now is wait for dev to comeback and continue developments . Hope he does.
Not even... if ButterRose was just willing to cede a share of control over the coin to POS Monkey so that he could liaise with the exchanges, we'd be on our way again.

Wondering if anybody knows the answer to this little conundrum of mine...
With Innova, can I specify an address for MN rewards in the masternode.conf? Something like this... mn1 127.0.0.2:19999 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0 i9uMSvFPDPthFjMKzm5efaKFBETR5iCtHB:100
I know this works on some other coins. Just not sure about Innova. Thanks!
(and yes - I'm aware I asked the same thing of another coin)
