I think the coin can have a future but it would need a whole new team.

Mastertrader777 stated he thought the plan was to tank the coin so devs could buy and reintroduce ButterRose to pump, why would he think that? Who was he conspiring with?

You have to cut out the cancer to save the life of the patient. It's a trust issue, those of us who left ain't coming back without big changes.
Your theory only happen if the current team of dev sell the project out, and another one take it over. It's good imagination.

True, that's why it's fucked until they dump and get out.

Crazy thing is, had it not been for the scams, Xios would be $5-10 now. The team could have made millions if they'd done it honestly. They had a strong community behind the coin.

True. Xios was very promising coin . Not sure whether it will recover from this state .

Coins have come back from dark places, it can recover it just needs big holders to take it over from the "dev team".

Not even... if ButterRose was just willing to cede a share of control over the coin to POS Monkey so that he could liaise with the exchanges, we'd be on our way again.

this project is really interesting by the amount of information available to the user, this post is very commented, which helps further to know something new about the project, I liked it. I just have to wish success for the development of the project.

This is a very interesting coin. The masternodes feature is a plus for xios. I hope and, I would like to see this coin listed in cryptopia because I would like to invest with Xios via the cryptopia platform. I will be waiting; or the time spent waiting would be a waste of time?

Hi, I downloaded wallet 7.11.2017 but I did the transaction from Yobit to the wallet and I can't see my Xios there. I see in right corner 110,444 blocks of transactions history. But when I checked https://prohashing.com/explorer/ there is 163,000 blocks :-O what can I do now? How can I update my wallet? I restarted PC, open wallet again, but still same.....

My masternode does not run if my home wallet is offline. Even though my VPS is running. any update on a fix?

Also, my stake coins move to addresses in my wallet that I did not create. Please look into that as well.

Come in our Discord Channel Bro, here you can find help, we have a great Community over there!

From Discord:

How to get xios back on right chain. For if your wallet is on the wrong chain.
Close Xios Go in to %appdata%\roaming\xios
Delete everything but Backup folder, wallet.dat, XIOS.conf and masternode.conf ( if you have one ) keep these especially wallet.dat!
Reopen xios go to Help\debug\peers
Ban any peers that don't have a starting height of 1XXXXX or very close to this. This will change over time. You will need to watch peers for about 30min to an hour to ban all the bad ones. Once this is done go to console and run "walletrepair" All coins should be back and you should be on the right chain

To see the right chain;

No new exchanges will be possible until a new wallet is released eradicating the stray forks and addressing the orphan issue. In fact, Xios is fortunate that it's listed on Yobit insomuch as any self-respecting exchange would have disabled their wallet long ago given what has happened to the network.

It's not unusual for ANY coin to fork. A new wallet will not insure a fork-less future for XIOS.
In fact, eliminating forks shouldn't be the focus of the wallet release.

Additional exchanges will like require investment by the devs.
It's not typical for a coin of this size to be community funded for several exchanges.
