Barcelona continue to win in the league. They had an away game against Villarreal tonight and they became victorious with a 3-1 result. Their dominant game in the second half especially helped them a great deal to win the match like this. Villarreal scored the equalizer and Barcelona had tough times actually. But in the last minutes, they still found a way out and scored two more goals. We've started seeing the Barcelona we want.

The group C is still very delightful to follow. After the last group matches, everything has changed in the group. Spartak Moscow won a crucial match against Napoli with a 2-1 result. And Leicester destroyed Legia home with a 3-1 result. After these results, Napoli have gone down to the 3rd place and Leicester are the new leader now. And Spartak Moscow suddenly moved to the 2nd place from the last. And Legia's form dropped down at a big rate after winning the first two group matches. They lost all of the other matches and we see them at the last place as a result. But the points of the teams are still very close to each other and many things can change again after the last week.

Juventus' biggest problem is that they can't score many goals, against Fiorentina they only managed to score 1 goal, against Lazio they will be able to score 2 goals thanks to 2 penalties. with that performance whenever they play against teams that score a lot of goals they will lose, for that reason they lost against chelsea and before that against verona. but they have an advantage that they can defend well and from what I see of Atalanta they score a lot of goals, but they also concede goals in almost every game they've played. if juventus managed to have good defense then juventus could win this game. but I wouldn't have more than 1 goal, and this is where the problem comes from, Atalanta, even playing against strong teams, manages to score at least 1 goal
And the thing you indicated about Juventus happened again today. Juventus surprised me as they couldn't even score one goal in their home match. Atalanta scored in the first half and somehow they secured a 1-0 win in this tough away match. It looks like I was wrong about thinking that Juventus were pulling themselves together in the Serie A. do not underestimate Atalanta
if it is in fourth place, there must be a reason ... same reason why my beloved team participates in the Champions League, and last year was thrown out by a team that has come very far

I watched the Galatasaray v Marseille match admiringly too. In the match in France, I remember that the match ended in a 0-0 draw. I was assuming that this also would be a low-scoring match too. But it turned out to be a marvelous match for all of the supporters of both teams. Actually, Marseille supporters wouldn't be so happy about it but at least they tried and scored two goals. However, Galatasaray had a very impressive performance. They were in control in the whole match. They would have even scored more goals but Marseille should be thankful that they didn't. Galatasaray gained a very deserved 4-2 victory and we are going to see them in the next round certainly.

After four weeks of having no victory, Milan have finally got their first one against Atletico Madrid in the away match. They were the far better side just as they were like this in the match in Italy until getting a red card. This time, the scenario wasn't the same and Milan finally found a goal in the last minutes and won by 1-0. And as Liverpool beat Porto by 2-0 too, Milan are only one point away from the 2nd place. By the way, they have taken the 3rd place from Atletico Madrid after defeating them.
As for the last group matches, there are Porto v Atletico Madrid and Milan v Liverpool matches. The excitement level is going to be really high. And I would really like to see Milan advancing to the next round.

Juventus are slowly getting closer to upper positions in the league table. Their recent winning streak of two matches helped them a lot in this. Of course, it is really hard for them to close the gap with the top 2 teams which are Napoli and Milan. Because the gap is eleven points which is really big. And as they are very inconsistent, I don't give them much chance for the title. But they can still end the season at one of the top 4 positions. And Atalanta are at the 4th position right now as Juventus' next opponent is Atalanta too. Winning a victory here is very important for Juventus as they will drop the gap to one point. Both of the teams have a decent form lately but after defeating Lazio, maybe Juventus can win this match too.

Ajax have finally won the victory they wanted by 5-0 against Waalwijk today. They drew with Heracles and Go Ahead Eagles consecutively before this match. They needed to gather themselves up as PSV and Feyenoord both have closed the gap with Ajax on the last weeks. While Ajax were ending Waalwijk, PSV and Feyenoord also won comfortably against Vitesse (2-0) and Zwolle (4-0) respectively. All of these three teams are fired up right now. We'll wait and see if the competition will go on very close among these teams until the last week of the season.

For two days, we have been having really perfect matches in the Serie A. First the Fiorentina - Milan match which ended 4-3. And now, the Inter - Napoli match which Inter succeeded in winning by 3-2 after a big competition. Napoli scored first but Inter turned the match around in a great way by bringing the score to 3-1 being in favor of themselves. Napoli still tried to turn it around again but the effort was in vain. Milan must be happy that Napoli lost this weekend too. But the most profitable team of the week were Inter definitely.

I think that the Monaco - Lille match was the most exciting match of the weekend. This match was open for any kind of surprises actually. We could have watched a boring match too but thankfully it was not the case. After a very competitive and enjoyable match, there was a 2-2 draw after the final whistle. Lille were 2-0 ahead actually but Monaco dropped the goal difference to one. And they got a red card after that. But they still managed to score the equalizer and got one point. Lille players must be sad that they missed a big opportunity to win.

There is less than one week left for the Barcelona - Benfica match. Barcelona have made an important change lately. They have brought Xavi to the team as their manager. We will see if they did the right thing or not in the future. But if Barcelona succeed in defeating Espanyol in the La Liga first, I see that they have a big chance against Benfica too. And I hope that they get better soon.

When it comes to the Augsburg - Bayern Munich match, I think that it should be a very comfortable one for Bayern Munich. Augsburg are a weak team compared to Bayern Munich by far. Maybe Augsburg have the stadium advantage this time but this shouldn't matter much for their opponent. Bayern Munich are having one of their best times lately. Even this should be enough for them to destroy Augsburg.

There is a Barcelona v Espanyol match in three days. I'm a little hyped about this match as it is going to be Xavi's first ever official match with the team. This match must be helpful for him about creating his roadmap for the team a lot. Espanyol is not a very hard-to-beat competitor for Barcelona normally. But considering the recent look of them, I don't see a guaranteed win here. But I still suppose that Barcelona will manage to win.

There is a nice and competitive game ahead of us: Monaco - Lille. I wish they both were having a great season like they had in the previous season in the league. But the truth is they aren't now. And it is not good to watch the last champion like this. The team spirit seems to be far gone when we compare two seasons. In this situation, I assume that both teams will want to see this as an opportunity to start a good period for themselves. They both want to climb in the standings but they can't as long as they are like this. It is hard to predict which side can win. Even though Monaco seem a little ahead, I think it is likely to see a draw with goals.
I think Lille players and staff knows that they have reached their maximum last season by winning the title,its hard for them and try against PSG this year that has an unstoppoble team. But this will be a great match between this two teams and im expecting lots of goals in this match Yeah, it was the top level for Lille last year for sure. Teams like this don't experience this much big successes very often. It was the case for Lille also. They were just extremely good at playing as a team and that had the biggest role in winning the Ligue 1 title also. Otherwise, they didn't have the best lineup of the league in the end. There was a big difference between them and PSG in terms of lineup quality. |

I didn't know that there was a really great game on TV now which is between Utah Jazz and Miami Heat in Vivint Smart Home Arena. We are in the 2nd quarter now and Miami Heat maintain their lead by a 41-27 score. Utah Jazz have been terrible in the 2nd quarter so far (the current quarter score: 3-14). But considering that both of them started the season strongly, I think that Utah Jazz won't lose home with a big gap. But I don't expect Miami Heat to lose here.

When it comes to the Leicester - Chelsea game, I hope to watch a pleasant game by both sides. Leicester are having a problematic season now as we can clearly see it from their results recently. They are one of the middle-placed teams now and it is not very good for a team like them. Because Leicester have been one of the big and assertive teams of this league for some years. They need to recover immediately but it is really hard for them to get rid of the Chelsea obstacle. Because Chelsea are having a wonderful season and maintaining their lead too. They are the favourite of this game also. Leicester lost their last home game to Arsenal by 2-0. But this time, I expect them to fight for getting something in this and score at least one goal. So, my primary prediction is BTTS.
BTTS is a good selection in my opinion considering Leicester don't currently have what it takes to win Chelsea. At the moment, Chelsea is a much better team and they will win to extend their lead at the table should any of their title rivals like Liverpool and city lose any more points when the league resumes. Anywhere between 1-3 to 1-4 would be the scoreline in my opinion. I agree with your opinions too. "Both teams to score" could be a good choice for this match. Chelsea are not a team that can concede a goal very easily. But in matches like this, we never know what can happen. Leicester are in a terrible condition and maybe they will show one of their best efforts in this match to start the recovering process for themselves. Anyway, I still am supporting Chelsea for this match and I agree that they will win. I'm just not sure about the probability of ending by a big gap like you indicated. Maybe Chelsea could win it by one goal. |

We are going to have a Chelsea - Juventus match which will be very effective in determining the leader of the group. For now, Juventus are the leader by 12 points as they won all of their 4 matches played so far. And Chelsea follow them right behind by 9 points. Juventus defeated them in Allianz Stadium by 1-0 before. And I suppose it is time for Chelsea to take revenge on Juventus. They are a much stronger team than Juventus this season. As long as they are well-prepared for this one, I expect a clean victory for Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid won only one time in their last four La Liga matches. They got draws in the rest of those matches which is a big problem for them. They were really close to getting a certain victory in their last match against Valencia but they were devastated by the late goals in the stoppage time. This time they are hosting Osasuna. They must win this match to pull themselves together. Osasuna are in a worse form lately so that is a big opportunity for Atletico Madrid. I suppose they will win this match.

West Ham - Liverpool game ended the opposite way that I expected. It was not hard to guess that both teams would score. We know how great Liverpool have been performing in their away games for a long time. And we know also that West Ham are one of the strong teams in this season. Their rise is very remarkable. I still favored Liverpool trusting their big performance in away games. But I never expected West Ham to win this game. After making the score 3-1, Liverpool desperately decreased the goal difference to 1 but it still ended by 3-2. It was the most pleasant game of the week for me.
Never underestimate any club in the premier league. Every club is in to contest or be among the top four of the premier league. That's what Liverpool and West Ham thought me. All hopes were on Liverpool to win the match without stress, due to how they flogged Manchester United mercilessly. This year's premier league is coming up of surprises than expected. Up till this moment, I still don't understand how Burnley was able to draw Chelsea after so many predictions of a sure win for Chelsea This match was really something special I think. It was special for West Ham to be clear. Actually this season in general is very special for them. They haven't had a season like this for many years. This is one of their best times in the Premier League. It is not easy to rise among very big and tough clubs in this league. But West Ham players seem to be very determined to have a very good season. We saw it by their performance against Liverpool too. Good for them and I hope to see them at upper places at the end of the season too. |

Napoli and Milan's domination in the Serie A is still continuing. Actually both of these teams lost points this week but not much thing changed for them. Because Milan played against Inter and it ended up with a 1-1 result. Both sides were capable of winning taking their efforts into account but it didn't end that way. Napoli drew with Verona with a 1-1 result home too. But Napoli and Milan are still 7 points ahead of their nearest competitor.
Napoli and Milan has been on their best form and both are topping the league with equal points but Napoli has a higher goal difference. Drawing their last matches happened like a coincidence inter Milan wasn't an easy contender for Ac Milan neither was Verona for Napoli although many efforts were lost by all four teams but the game ended has it was supposed to end. The second penalty lost by inter deprived them their chance of taking the lead Inter could have even won this match I think. And I was expecting them to do so too. Maybe you will say that Milan were in a much better condition in the Serie A when we compare their place in the league table. But this shouldn't mislead people. When we look at their last head-to-head match in the Serie A, we can see that Inter defeated Milan by 3-0. I decided to give a chance for Inter and bet on them. Maybe it ended in a draw by 1-1 but it was worth a shot. |

It looks like Tottenham and Arsenal both are in the race to sign Fiorentina's young and talented striker Dusan Vlahovic. He is only 21 years old but his performance is really big. In the last season, he scored 21 goals in the Serie A. And in this season so far, he scored 8 goals in 12 matches. He continues to impress his boss and the other teams at the same time. Rather than playing in the Serie A, I think that it could be better for him to show his talent more in the Premier League. He can start with one of these teams and he can be transferred to a much bigger club as long as he shows a great level of performance.
