Guys really? Your Coins are gone and you should know that it was a clear Ponzi.

It was just gambling and nothing more Wink

If you think they took only some BTC you're wrong. I've seen a lot of Dogecoins there, more than 5 Million who were unpaid!
Also the amount of Vertcoin was huge. One Deposit was 1500 which is 3000$ and it was unpaid.

All the unpaid stuff equals more than 10.000 $
Right.. They said lets earn 10 000$ and leave.. No matter if they can earn 1 000 000 $ running their website for more than six months. lol

being inside the us

and illegal(well kinda.. depending on judge, the alt coins arent officially money yet.. though mighty close after the dec fed announcement )

well.........10k doesnt look so bad

They have made much much more.
10K is only for the altcoins, there probably made another 100K at least with bitcoin.
Not too bad for what.. 1 week 'work'?

Very cool toys Smiley
How do you recover the camera, is there a gps module? How can you be sure that the balloon won't drop in the sea or in a river?

346  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Very Bad News about Mt.Gox in Japanese media!!! on: February 23, 2014, 05:02:37 PM
death threats?

I hope that's not true.  People can mock & humiliate Mark as much as they want, it's a natural response of frustration.
But death threats is a whole new level.
IF Mark gets beaten, or worse, now THAT would be bad news to the community.

bitcoins represent money.
People all over the world get death threats or even worse, seriously injured or killed over money.

Why would Karpeles or bitcoin be any different? Especially since we are talking about large sums of money.

Good luck writing your book.
Hint: also make a website, not everybody is on facebook!
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin worth investment? on: February 23, 2014, 04:38:54 PM
I don't think it's a good investment at the moment.
Dogecoin had its peak already, and I believe it will only drop.
349  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Crypto Doubler - coin2x - coin2x.com on: February 23, 2014, 04:05:17 PM
That wouldn't have made any difference, as you have to wait 48 hours for your payment anyway.

Even if he isn't paying for the electricity he is right to complain about the consumption.
Ever thought about the extra heat generated? There could also be environmental issues at stake.

352  Economy / Services / Re: File sharing service - Donate what you want on: February 23, 2014, 03:16:13 PM
Why would people use your payed service if already dozens of free sites offer the exact same thing, and even do so better?

https://www.wetransfer.com/
https://mega.co.nz/

and lots and lots of others..

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we STOP Cryptsy on: February 23, 2014, 02:58:22 PM
I never experienced any major problems with cryptsy, except for their very slow support
355  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CraPE v0.3 beta - Boot from USB - Win8 PE Based Mining OS on: February 23, 2014, 02:54:48 PM
Is it legal to distribute your own OS based on Windows 8?
Isn't this copyrighted by Microsoft?
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the creator of the bitcoin??? on: February 23, 2014, 02:50:15 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonymous person or group who created the bitcoin protocol.
To date, nobody knows his real identity and if (s)he / they are still alive.
357  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] New blockchain explorer on: February 23, 2014, 02:48:49 PM
Looking good, I really dig the clean design Smiley
Will you also support other coins than bitcoin, litecoin, peercoin and dogecoin in the future?
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin going back up? Is now the time to buy? on: February 23, 2014, 02:46:02 PM
Don't buy now yet, prices will drop next week.
This currently still is a bulltrap with prices that are artificially raised.
359  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Crypto Doubler - coin2x - coin2x.com on: February 23, 2014, 02:44:51 PM
The Ray ID is only used by cloudfare for internal debugging purposes, and can only identify the site where the error occurred.
There's nothing you can do with it to try and get your money back.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of Speed on: February 23, 2014, 02:43:32 PM
The confirmation time of bitcoin is more than short enough for me.
It seldom happens that I need to make a payment that needs to have x confirmations within the hour or so.
