card manufacturer won't make a difference. an xfx 5850 will perform equally well to a sapphire 5850.
Yes. but it kind of matters because some cards have MUCH louder fans. *cough* XFX *cough*

well i can give you a own personal password generating script that generate like 10k passwords in a single mouse click ?? who cares about passwords ?? use a dictonary if you want the most common passwords or just use this list http://www.whatsmypass.com/the-top-500-worst-passwords-of-all-timeand i am sure that there are a lot more of those lists then for the adult sites , i got somewhere a adress that give acces to 35 differend adult sites with just a registration ( email ) and then you get 35 differend passwords/usernames to use for those sites funny part is that they are all linked to each other , but it are premium accounts (only from that 1 site you can get free to those sites) so there is no reason to get any passwords/usernames from other members , specialy not when those users probaly change there password on regulair time ^^ Greets From PowerChaos And you had to bump this... why?

So if he is claiming they were lost to a hardware failure, where is the HD? Would he/they allow a forensic analysis?
Where abouts does it say that?

It doesn't matter if it's up or not. The damage has been done.
I'm not talking about the targii who thought they could trust some random internet guy taking their currency which has anonymity has a selling point who lost some BTC.
I'm talking about how those targii are now crying to the government asking them for help. This will only speed up the government regulation/banning of BTC. Thank idiots. Thanks.
It is pretty funny that a community as anti-government, anti-tax, and pro-libertarian as this one resorts at the drop of a hat to screaming "BIG GOVERNMENT COME HELP US! I DEMAND JUSTICE". Bruce Wagner being the main one leading the charge. Whatever mental gymnastics it takes for them to justify it, I guess. But this will only cause more issues for BitCoin as this opens the door for every agency under the banner of the government to get inside and start picking it apart. Come join #bitcoin-police, we have stacks of info, and not relying on governments. Where's it located? I'll be glad to come over and take a look, maybe even get involved if I can help. freenode

Seriously, it was too easy to hack. They had no firewall up. Believe it or not, they did not secure their servers with ssh keys, instead, they allowed me to brute force the root password. Fortunately, I was able to get in after the night of the 4th day. I didn't get any sleep that night, I was too excited. I was amazed that the amount of Bitcoins they had in store in their node. To my surprise, they lied about having "the majority" of Bitcoins stored in an offline vault. Unless, this was the 'offline' wallet they were talking about, which was a joke either way. I can confirm that they did not store all of their Bitcoins on this node though, but it was sure a 'tidy' amount. Since MyBitcoin operates with no fee, I can see their decision to enter redemption be reasonable because there was no way they can 'buy' their way back into these Bitcoins, it would at least cost them several hundred thousands. I do not plan on dumping the Bitcoins onto the market right away. I do believe that Bitcoin will one day be worth more than 100 a piece. That will be the day when my work has paid off. However, I do hope Bitcoin doesn't crash because of my actions. Godspeed. Pics or it didn't happen.

People seem pretty sure that they have already clearly identified the entire little "posse" of amateur crime guys involved. At this point, their only hope is if they start ratting each other out. If they haven't already. Do you have a link to the progress on identifying these people? I haven't seen anything beyond all the fake dns info. I'd be very curious to see where the collective investigation work stands. Yes, we're running investigations in #bitcoin-police on freenode. http://bitcoin.crimeunit.net/wiki/index.php/MyBitcoin < not alot here, alot more in channel

To the OP sorry to hijack your thread dude its not intentional and I hope any information I am getting is helping you out also "You will average 1 BTC every 4days 19hrs 33mins 35secs at 390 Mh/s with current difficulty 1888787"

Dear pool operator,
It so happened that traditionally almost every pool for some reason has a setting 'send me money if my balance is above <such and such> number'. Perhaps Slush have done this in his pool half a year ago and everyone mindlessly copied it.
This is bitcoin, once you got customers address there is no reason to keep any customer's bitcoins (let's say above 1BTC due to fees) in the pool unless pool operator wants to become a depositary institution or pull out mybitcoin or bitomat stunts.
Please do consider implementing forced payouts regime. For example, if you have customer's bitcoin address transfer all balances over 1 BTC, let's say, hourly or daily. The block chain is ALWAYS online.
Interesting, i've never actually thought about it that way, ill talk to everyone else and see what they say and we might implement it.
