As long as there are people who utilize it, it will still be alive. Bitcoin's price is highly affected by the proliferation of its users. The higher its demand, the higher its price. It probably dumped due to the hacking of exchange sites which caused a lot of holders panic sell.

I know you have posted this as a reaction to the extreme dump of bitcoin right now. I am not disaggreeing because I also believe that it is time for other coins to shine. There are also several coins with potential that are not given the attention they deserve. Despite of the huge dump of bitcoin price, a lot still believes that it will recover after this holiday and honestly speaking I am one of them. But this does not mean that I am not open to other good coins. I hope everything will be fine and will have an open mind.

We shouldn't be. The dump in bitcoin price is expected this last week of December up to first week of January but its case was made worse by the hacking of different exchange sites causing people to panic sell because they think that bitcoin will go down. Despite of the extreme dump, I still believe that bitcoin will recover soon so keep holding and be patient

All of us wants to be rich here right? We involve ourselves in crypto world to be able to earn money. There are several opportunities here  and you only need hard work and patience. That is what I keep telling myself because being rich means you invest either your money or time or hardwork.

Do not panic. The dump may be temporary. Its price will recover soon which is why when coin's price decrease, grab the opportunity to buy more of it because you will instantly see the significant increase in your money once its price hike up again. I prefer holding bitcoin rather than selling it because its price will obviously increase as time passes by. Control your emotions during dumps because if you don't, it might lead to your loss rather than gain. 

It is safe if you made sure that the ICO you are about to join is authentic. You can verify it through its manager. How? Once the manager managing that campaign is known or someone with a good reputation, then that ICO is legitimate. Another thing is by inspecting its whitepaper. There may be some clues there. Scrutinize it and look for unrealistic approaches and claims.

I think those coins should not be compared because they are used for different purposes. Bitcoin is the leading digital coin because it is the first digital currency ever invented, but altcoins like ethereum are also leading in other ways. I think, both coins have great potentials in the market and both have already built a good reputation.
