342  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: February 22, 2018, 08:50:52 PM
It has been almost a year already since I decided to stop using facebook. Tell you what, It feels great not seeing all these showbiz personalities, the faces of these stupid politicians, the drama etc...Would you quit facebook?, just try it and I assure you of one thing and that's "Reality".
Precisely, i quit facebook 6 months ago (great decision), and the past week a friend suffer from a horrible defamation in his restaurant, being accused of homofobic discrimination. The video went viral (even when it was a lie) and now his restaurant is closed due to the millions of threats again his life, his famili´s life and his workers.
Thats amazing how a viral publication, a BIG LIE, can destroy a complete family... and scary.

344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price on: February 20, 2018, 03:41:40 AM
No. It's not possible that price of BTC will be stable. And why do you want the stable price?
Not even avocados or tomatoes have never been stable. How many time producers have been obliged to trash out their vegetables just because they didn't even worth the effort implied in the harvest?

Well, I understand somehow people believe the money as something "stable". But just take a look at the dollar on the past 3 years: it has been dancing as a newbie ice-skater.
There´s no such a thing as "stable" on economics. And I´m afraid there are not going to be. BTC, as a whole new system of "money", is going to be "dancing" for years and, for sure, it will never become something static (as the dollar, euro, Yuan, &.co have never been).
345  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Microsoft usará blockchain para su Authenticator on: February 20, 2018, 03:29:36 AM
Hola,

A ver qué pasa.
346  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: Retomamos el rumbo on: February 20, 2018, 03:22:08 AM

347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 19, 2018, 02:50:30 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Why not?
If you gamble in dollars, why not gamble using BTC?
If you want to buy stocks or invest, why not in BTC?

This is the same, and, at the end of the day, it depends on what you want.
The difference: BTC is a decentralized money, if you have your own wallet, you can invest not only in gambling but also in other altcoins, which are profitable and interesting. BTC is a new way to see money, and I am sure it is going to be the money of the future. So, using it, learning everything as you can about how it works... do you believe it can be a waste of time?

To me, it depends on how you see crypto currencies. I mean. If you compare with the "common money", well it is difficult to buy a pair of beers with BTC (for the moment), but if you see cryptocurrencies as what they are (a new way of world economy, decentralized, free, and with no enterprises behind, but just a bunch of believers...), then you can decide if you are or not interested in them.

A comparison is always, in my opinion, a waste of time.
348  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Cada vez me gusta menos el bitcoin... on: February 17, 2018, 05:13:51 PM

Ahora tengo:
75% bitcoin
10% altcoins clasicas  (lite, doge)
15% altcoins modernas  (NXT)

Me gustaria tener menos bitcoins y mas altcoins:
68% bitcoin
12% altcoins clasicas
20% altcoins modernas

¿Que os parece?. ¿Estoy tonto o soy demasiado precavido?.

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is blocking all the Crypto-Currency Exchange sites and ICOs on: February 17, 2018, 05:08:26 PM
China is reportedly aiming to block all websites, both domestic and foreign, related to cryptocurrency trading and initial coin offerings (ICOs) in what could be the country’s final crackdown on the industry. - CCN

What are your thoughts about this?
Is this the reason why Bitcoin and Altcoins are drowning in Bloodbaths since late January?
China holds the 30% of mining in the world. They are also creating their own crypto, the "Digital Yuan", based on blockchain and in develop since 2014.
Whatever is China doing with BTC, it is for sure in order to get more money. I believe they have one of the bigger btc reserves in the whole world, so they can speculate about it as they want to.
That's just my opinion, what do you think???
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: February 17, 2018, 04:55:25 PM
I need help as I want to invest in Ethereum.
What is the best investment for me?
Bitcoin or Ethereum?
And why Huh
I should say: both!!
If you diversificate your investments, this is easy to get profits. Why choose one?
If you can just to select both, I believe this is the best way. Both BTC and Ether are strong ones. Ethereum is based on an evolution of blockchain, and it faster. BTC is the king of the crypto.
I think both of them are good investments and to have both is the best of all.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: February 17, 2018, 03:59:04 PM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?
I dont think so. There is no such an "stable" thing in the whole world. For instance, diamonds are based on speculation, as fruit, as even coins as the dollar, euro, etc. ..
352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie starting out where to invest $500 on: February 16, 2018, 12:54:27 AM
As the title suggest new to crypto, small investment of $500, which coins should I be looking to invest in?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

If there is money you can forget for a while, just get some BTC. If you want it to be profitable since the very first moment, then I would choose Clamcoin (for it can mine itself, and any cam you have will give you more clamcoin...)
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: February 16, 2018, 12:16:20 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
This is a curious question, for when you see the last months statistics, you will discover how when bTC falls, all crypto suffers (take a look to https://coinmarketcap.com).
Thats really means BTC is the generator of every coin price.
If BTC die, as you say, the market will need another "generator". In my opinion, it will be ETH. For sure, some altcoins will die with BTC but I dont believe it will mean the end of cryptocurrencies.

354  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: February 15, 2018, 10:10:33 PM
Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now and what is he doing right now..Bitcoin price is down sharply. Can he do something?
I don´t even believe Satoshi is a person but a group of researchers. If they decided to keep their identity on a secret, why do we care?
They gave a present to the world more than 7 years ago, they created the first blockchain technology and didn't give it to a private company, an admirable move.

I think the identities of the Shatoshi group is just not our concern.
355  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: February 14, 2018, 05:57:10 PM
Hi, I just wanna ask how to overcome depression? I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?

Depression is a very very serious illness which implies not only psychological issues, but also a decompensation of some kind of hormones and other chemical substances on the brain. We can say depression is one of the most difficult illness.
The first step I should advise to you is just to talk with your friend about shes sick, she has a PHYSICAL illness. The point with depression is everybody looks at it as a mental illness only. And this is not true!!!

I believe this is very useful to understand that something is just bad about your chemical brain composition. It can be treated, you can get better. By a phycological therapy or by a psychiatric one.
The bigger problem related to depression is how society sees that. Just try to explain  to her shes sick, thats all, she needs a doctor. I call myself deppression "the soul cancer"
356  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why did satoshi develop bitcoin in windows? on: February 14, 2018, 05:48:41 PM
You are trying to create a decentralized, censorship resistant, open source form of money, and you build it on top of a closed source operating system which is known for it's ties with three letter agency, hidden exploits, and all sorts of these bad things.

I find it weird that he would develop on windows. As far as I know, his first release was for windows only, and from what I've read, some code analysts claimed that he was a windows guy.

What is your take on this?

Well, this is ironic to create an open source code in a restricted one. Maybe they were just trying to make a point, or maybe they just wanted blockchain to go into everyhouse.

But to me is not relevant, to be honest.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Bitcoin Hello Blockchain on: February 14, 2018, 05:06:06 PM
I believe that we are witnessing the setting down of the bitcoin sun, and similar to the sun on the north pole, which does not really sets down in the summer, so that is the Bitcoin sun.

The bitcoin was a great locomotive to the crypto industry, but it's time for it to step aside and let the technology take the lead.

The blockchain is the underlying technology of bitcoin and is the reason for the vast mainstream interest in this part of tech.
The mainstream has a lot of biased feelings toward Bitcoin, and god knows, there are definitely good reasons for that. But, unless the mainstream will be able to feel comfortable with using the tech, there will be no mass adoption and this beautiful technology will go to waste in the hands of speculative traders and scammers.

My personal opinion, don't shout  Roll Eyes

BTC is the more secure fiat in the world, and it will still be for a long way. Blockchain is to BTC as BTC is for Blockchain, they are taken by the hand. Now, If you dont want to believe in it, thats perfect.
358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will bitcoin survive? Here's your answer. on: February 14, 2018, 04:26:13 PM
In the words of the American economist Abba Lerner, from his essay in the 1947 edition of the American Economic Review

“The modern state can make anything it chooses generally acceptable as money . . .It is true that a simple declaration that such and such is money will not do, even if backed by the most convincing constitutional evidence of the state’s absolute sovereignty. But if the state is willing to accept the proposed money in payment of taxes and other obligations to itself the trick is done.”

Yeah, thats the trick. BTC was created under the conviction of "free money", a new way to understanding economycs... but society... Im afraid they are going to fully accept BTC only when governments do...
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: February 09, 2018, 03:01:45 AM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
You actually can sell gold on the internet in order to exchange it for cash. This is precisely the same as BTC, if you choose to look cryptocurrencies on that way...

Ex-RBI chairman said "Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air". It is biggest scam of all.   Angry
Well, my answer to this sir should be: "Contemporary art market". Just that.
