I want to say something different. The Juventus team performed brilliantly a few seasons ago, but last season they did not perform well. It is really interesting to see how this team performs this season and what kind of changes they bring to the team. Because I think Juventus is a traditional club.
Last season Juventus were just unlucky through the point deductions they experienced throughout the season, because if Juventus did not experience this last season, Juventus might be in a more formidable competition next season. But that is a story that has passed so right now what Juventus needs to focus on is being able to bring more significant changes to the team before the official transfer window closes.

That seems to be a tough  challenge for Juventus as for a club to make some really good transfers they have to be in competitions that players of good level seek to play in. It really gets tough when a player is also sought by other clubs and those clubs are to play in Uefa leagues in that season. I hope they get some good players or make some good signings with potential to finish better next season. They can also make some use of academy talents as the last time have seen them they were really good. It will be good to have them develop as well.

Perhaps what Lukaku wants is Juventus but the fact is that this club is no longer continuing talks with Chelsea about his sales link, while Lukaku still hopes to go there.

That seems like it. Right now it is all happening because there is no update on Vlahovic leaving Juventus. And it all makes sense as they need to make space for a striker to then proceed talks for Lukaku.

Vlahovic will not be sold it has become an important part of Juventus for the future so therefore Lukaku's hopes will be lost.

There was some strong reports of PSG getting interested in him but I suppose Vlahovic is not the only name they have in the list. It does seems like hope is slowly dying out for Lukaku here.

The news is that Martinez is also disappointed with Lukaku because of the attitude that chooses other teams, he also called Lukaku but there was no answer, this source exists.

With his behavior complicating himself, Inter has clearly closed the access road there.

They will be , it's not something one would expect after staying in touch for so long. Inter also did the right thing as it is matter of respect and even if they allows, it will complicate things later on so best to make the harsh decision right from the start.

Romelu Lukaku will not join Inter Milan. That's sure according to Inzaghi and his attitude towards his old teammates by not responding to them confirm this.
Lukaku has two choices, try his luck with Juventus if ever they accepted him but spectators especially Inter ones will criticise him badly. The other option is to try to pick a place in Chelsea or convince them to loan him elsewhere.

Juventus is the best option if you ask me. He can easily get good amount of minutes there. But Juventus are only interested to go forward if they sell Vlahovic otherwise I don't think they are gonna move forward the talks here. With Chelsea, I don't think he is gonna find much minutes but that seems like the one that is likely gonna happen. Also , as you mentioned loan to some other club could also work but are there any more clubs interested in him??

I feel that Inter was the likely destination for Lukaku but due to his own actions he completely closed that path. I think he is gonna be at Chelsea likely.

The transfer market is now absolutely ridiculous, every club now overvalues their players just to make more money from the team that wants to sign them. Caicedo is a brilliant player, but i don't know why Brighton are still holding on to him when the player has made his intentions to leave known to them, they ought to take the money Chelsea is offering and use it to buy a couple of players that won't cost them too much money. I think Brighton are being greedy here (considering how much they signed Caicedo), and i think it is wise if Chelsea pull out of the deal and look for other alternatives.

Brighton wants levy colwill but chelsea didn't let him go. That's why brighton increased caicedo's price to be around 100 millions. The values for football players these days are fraud.
The fourth bid alread sent by chelsea but brighton rejects it again.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/38083820/transfer-talk-brighton-spurn-chelsea-80m-bid-caicedo

Brighton wants 100 millions for him. The previous price was around 80 millions. This team was so greed. Brighton seems like a fraud team for me.

Is it? I don't think so. Yeah in a way the Colwill deal might have affected the Caicedo one but I don't think so that it's entirely the case. Caicedo is important to the Brighton squad and Brighton wants to make most out his sale right now. They just want to push Chelsea to the maximum extent as I think.

Let's see how far Chelsea will go for the player. I feel bit over 80m maybe like 85-87m should be enough for a Brighton "Yes".

Silva has been announcing his retirement from football after he has been injured. It's time for him to enjoy his life after he has been dedicating whole of his life to play football. Manchester city has become a team that makes his name become so popular.
He was leaving from city around 2020. Silva is still having a lot of memories with premier league. I remember when he was in his prime. So many clubs were always trying to recruit him.

Finally, his journey has come to its end. God bless for you silva and good luck. Im still hoping he will be able to come back as a coach in the future.

Yeah a midfield maestro I must say when it comes to talking about David Silva. He was crucial man at City and he really was good with vision and feeding some good balls and making good attacking plays. I really loved how he was so crucial in City's attacks during his old days in PL. Really sad to see him hang his boots due to knee injury but he really had a great career with both nation and the club's. A true legend 🌟.

We know Al-Hilal is very fond of buying players this summer, say like Ruben Neves to Sergej Milinković-Savić. There is also the most expensive recruit from Al-Hilal who was brought in from Zenit, namely Malcom, not to mention later if Marco Verrati manages to join Al-Hilal it will increase the amount of net spend for this season.

Yeah not a surprise here. Saudi league doesn't have restrictions like FFP so naturally they will try to sign players when they have the deep pockets. Al-Hilal would have been topping the charts by a big margin if Mbappe move would have been sealed. BTW I am surprised that other Saudi clubs haven't made it into the list.

As for Manchester United, they seem to be experiencing a loss because many of their players' market value has fallen, so even if they are sold, they cannot increase their net spend.

What you are saying is also right but is there reason to sell? I think ten Haag is happy with most of the squad. Yes, they want to sell some players but since they haven't been in spotlight, it won't affect much.

...therefore Pep Guardiola still needs Kyle Walker's services at least until next season.
Of course, but the problem is that Pep wouldn't need his services throughout the season, he will be picked specifically for certain games, just like what happened last season. I'm pretty sure Walker doesn't want that, he wants to move to a team in which he can start nearly every game, and he knows City can't give him that and this is why they are offering him just a one year contract. If kyle Walker leaves City, it is because he knows that his game-time at the Etihad would be quite limited next season.

I feel that it's not that Pep doesn't need his services, it's more like Kyle Walker wants a change now. It's natural when you have achieved everything for consecutive years, a player always wants a change. It was same with Gundogan and it's same with Kyle. Pep always is happy with his squad but if a player wants to leave then he also doesn't tries to convince the player to stay at City.  With City there will always be lack of playing chances because they want the depth of good players in the squad and there will always be someone feeling left out if Pep doesn't plays him for 2-3 matches.

If Manchester United don't mind to spend 90 Million Euros, they should get better player like Harry Kane, Leao etc.

Yes they should try to sign really good players like Kane which can give them the edge they need. Kane is a player who can give at least 20-30 goals but I still don't know why they are still going after Rasmus Hojlund. He is good but since he is not as experienced like Kane is, I think it is gonna be a huge gamble if they sign Hojlund. On top of that, they will get lot of criticism from their fans as well.

United should understand that they need a strong first team player who can score lot of goals for them. With the opportunity of having Kane, I feel that United are making a wrong decision here.

Apparently, PSG has accepted the 300 million deal - which was expected of course.

Not a surprise since PSG had no option but to accept. Right now Al-Hilal is the only club who is offering PSG something of value from the possible departure of Mbappe. 300million is a lot and I don't think any club is ballsy enough to match that.

Mbappe's current salary is a bit below 100 million $ per year, meaning he'd get a 7x raise. This is absolutely crazy, but Saudis never really cared about money anyway. For them 7 million is the same as 7 billion.

It is amazing to see how Saudi clubs has just gone absolutely mad in terms of offering irresistible offers and making some crazy moves. Ronaldo move started it and brought in much more confidence and players also saw some good opportunities as well to develop the football in Saudi Arabian league. With Mbappe, I hope that he stays in European league (but not in PSG).

I hope he goes, I've had enough of his dramas in recent years. Let him score 500 goals there, at least he'll be far away.

Yeah there had been enough of dramas and Mbappe is just raking in criticisms due to such. I hope he makes the right decision this time- Madrid.

Although the top priority was indicated as the immediate need to add a top-class striker to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo, coach Erik Ten Hag insists the club will not panic shopping in this transfer window. Their ability to score at the moment is inferior. Marcus Rashford is their mainstay but has only scored six goals in the Premier League. Perhaps Erik Ten is cautious with this choice. Otherwise, they are just burning money.

I feel United has made every signings they needed to have but the only one they need to do now is a striker. There is no dire need since Rashford can fill the position and he has done a great job last season as well. Still I think there needs to be a striker who can give them lot of goals like Harry Kane. I don't know what happened but United actually had Harry Kane in list. I think Harry Kane is a safe and a very good target as he has got PL experience and scores at least 20 goals per season. He is a proper team player up in attack which can really give United a strong edge. Also 100m will be like money well spent for United.

So I do not see any other options for the PSG club other than selling him. Two years ago, it was about money for Mbappé. But now I believe it is not about money anymore because he has a lot of it.

Yes situation for PSG is much more worse regarding Mbappe. They can act cool here by giving Mbappe an option to either extend or will be sold but in actual they are the one on the bitter end here. About 2 years ago, was it money? Not sure but seems like it. There could lot going on behind the scenes to convince Mbappe. But the fact that Mbappe took a U-turn after having word with Real Madrid president it seems like a huge raise and some conditions was the basis on which the extension somehow happened.

Manchester city has been completing its first pre season match against yokohama marinos. City was winning the game with 5 - 3 against marinos as the final scores. That result is quite better compared with the result of the same team a few years ago.
I remember that city was winning against yokoma with 1 - 3 as the final score in 2019. Yokohama was able performing even better by making more goals compared with the previous years.
Guardiola was using all of its young players against yokohama.

There will be an interesting match to come for all of citizens. City gonna faces bayern next days and then atletico madrid.

The final of community shield between manchester city vs arsenal gonna happen at the end of this month. All in on city may be possible for this match. Manchester city is really having very busy schedule.

I would say preseason is not a basis to determine the form of a team. Managers get to assess his options and players also get a good warmup once before the season kicks off. Nothing is at stake so everything is easy going in these kind of matches. Community shield fixture would be where City and Arsenal will push themselves for real.

PL season kicks off from August 12 so I am excited to see how things start of every team. And most important of all- how the new signings find themselves in the game.

If Mbappe's main goal was to get an even higher salary that he is already getting now, then he would definitely not want to leave PSG in my opinion. As far as i know he is the player that is earning by far the most in europe with 72 Million € per season. That is like at least 3 times more than the other absolute world class players in europe are earning. Mbappe wants to join a club where he has realistic chances to win the Champion League in the next few years. It did not work out with PSG even though they have spent so much money for players with big names.
Now he wants to join a club like Real Madrid where it is normal to always expect to win the Champions League title, even if it means that he will earn less there. He already has way more money that he can ever spend, if he is not going completely crazy and starts to buy big private jets and islands for himself lul.
Mbappe has the potential and has emerged as top young talents recently. He has achieved so many things with France and with PSG but obviously a player has to look for his next chapter as well. It is about time for Mbappe to make a move and I really like this decision. He has been clear and it is only PSG who are not even trying to understand it at all. If PSG wanted to sell top player at top value then they should have taken the Real Madrid offer 2 years ago.

It's not about money for most players. For some players who have so many potential and has been on a spotlight, they always like the progress and Mbappe seems to me like that type of player.

If Mahrez leaves, Manchester City may pursue Raphinha. [...]

He already left City to join Al-Ahli and regarding pursuing Raphinha, I don't think there is a need to sign a right winger as there is Foden who can play at that position as well and there is Bernardo Silva as well who are adaptable to that position.

David Ornstein reports that Chelsea has made contact with Ajax regarding Mohammed Kudus [1]. Chelsea are getting close in personal terms with the player so that's a very good progress for Chelsea.

Kane doesn't want to insist on his departure if there is no agreement between Bayern Munich and Tottenham. He actually wants to sign for Bayern Munich now but it isn't like his only option now. If this agreement doesn't happen then he is okay about waiting until the end of his contract to leave for free. As long as he has the kind of a signing he wants it doesn't look like he cares if it is now or in a year. Tottenham must be the one to be worried about this situation now. Levy's continuing to be stubborn will take them nowhere. He will have Kane for only one last season and that's it.
I still think that the necessary balance will be found and Kane will still move from Tottenham to Bayern Munich in this transfer window. Nevertheless, the age of a football player is short and it is better not to postpone the transition for another year. Ken is a wonderful age for a football player, but still not the same as Mbappe to painlessly wait another season.

I also feel that since negotiations are going on, an agreement will be found in this transfer window only. Bayern have matched 80m Euro + add ons in their second bid for Kane [1] and Spurs value Kane over 100m Euro. I feel that with pressure from Kane and another improved bid to match 100m Euro with adds on + fixed fee, things will be agreed on at the end. Still I have slight doubts since it's Levy, Bayern has to deal with and he is really hard one in negotiations.

Update from romano regarding mbappe. PSG is willing to sell him asap. I think that being excluded from japan tourney has become a signal if PSG will not be using him next season. I think mbappe will be benched for the whole of season if he is still trying to stay in the club even longer.
Despite Mbappe causing the club to have different intentions, it can still be valued as high as before. Mbappe's market value was also very stable compoared with neymar. PSG has no reason for not to sell him in summer.

Let's wait what team that will be sending first bid for him. Im thinking real madrid will not even try bid on this. PSG has signed a bunch of new players. Mbappe may not be included in the starting lineup next season.

Not a surprise here as PSG have been clear in the beginning of the transfer window that either Mbappe has to sign contract or he will be sold in this transfer window. He had two weeks to decide and it seems two weeks has run out and it is for sure now. From PSG point of view, they are trying anything in order to get something out of Mbappe sale but since they have really took some harsh decision here, it seems like they are the ones at the losing end here.

Madrid seems like the likely destination now and I am also sure that behind the curtains, Mbappe and Madrid have already agreed to something. Will Mbappe backstab Madrid again like last time? I don't think so as Madrid is his dream club and he wouldn't want to lose it now if he were to sign contract extension again.

Quote
I had heard that if some players of real madrid have been refusing mbappe's arrival to the club. These players are joselu, brahim diaz, vini even rodrygo. PSG has changed mbappe's status for sale starting from this day.
I would like to see EPL clubs try to get him from PSG.

Well that's an interesting report and would like to see a strong source about this. But I am sure that some of the fans will really be against it.

Guardiola will end up leaving Manchester City by the end of his contract or a couple of years later or if he sees that managing a national team might be interesting for him, if the offer was interesting eventually

Hmmm... National team.. good point but Guardiola and only national team? Things seem a bit off to me as Guardiola strikes me like a kind of a guy who needs actions on a consistent basis and by signing up for a national team and having nothing else means only be in action for a small portion or period. Serie A might interest him next but I have *my doubts* since he had a taste of PL now.

Let's see whats next for him. His contract runs out in 2025 so there is still two years left. Maybe I could be wrong also if he manages to win back to back CL's in next two years (I know it's difficult but its still possible)- then he certainly would feel like achieving everything and there is nothing left to do and leave eventually.

Sadio Mane is really keen on signing for a Saudi Arabian team these days. Because he doesn't see a future for himself at Bayern Munich now as he believes he won't get enough playing time from now on. I can't say that he isn't right because Tuchel doesn't look like he will use him in the starting eleven mostly. He tried him in some matches after he joined on last weeks of the previous season. But Mane wasn't part of starting eleven most of the time. Tuchel's recent words about him are also not that positive either.

It would be the best for Mane to join a Saudi Arabian team to play longer and more importantly make a way higher amount of money than now.  Smiley

To be honest it seems like he doesn't have any option here. I recall couple of days ago, it was reported that he wasn't considering these Saudi club offers at all but since Bayern are pushing for a move he has no option but to leave. Possible that he isn't in plans now and its understandable given how things has went down at Bayern recently. Also for Bayern, it's perfect time as Saudi clubs are paying off a fee over the valuation so it's perfect time to recover the amount invested in a player when buying.

Yeah, it's in best interest for everybody to just make the move happen now.
