341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: October 31, 2019, 08:33:14 PM
There are certain ideas that cannot be executed on blockchain. Which is why their capability of being adopted as real projects, with working products might not be that easy. This is why some projects with no real and correlating usecase, will continue to sway to and fro, with so much dwindling.

343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are trading fees too high? Coinbase Generated Nearly $2 Billion in Trading Fees on: October 30, 2019, 09:23:05 PM
DEXex are gradually coming up to fill the gap for high fee, but at the moment, traders and investors alike will still continue to patronize centralized exchanges for some reasons, which decentralized exchanges cannot for now fulfill. Coinbase has high traffic caused by traders and investors on their exchange, so it is likely that they would have generated such huge amount of money.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: October 30, 2019, 06:31:00 PM
When the government is fully involved in the launched of a thing, particular this time that it is cryptocurrency, it will surely materialize and will be easy. However, what China want to launch centralized. Facebook on the other hand is having hard time, because the government and that those in authority are not supporting it.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 30, 2019, 06:13:19 PM
Going back to 2017 scam ICO launchings, one thing for sure, sites like Coin Market Cap have played a very big role in promoting those scams. Yes they did it because they want money but one thing they should realize that this thing would lead to distrust of new people in crypto which would ultimately also close their shop as well.

Coin Market Cap takes a huge amount of money from those scammers.
When i contacted CMC, i got this email.
Hi, and thanks for reaching out! Our pricing is based on impressions:

Desktop Formats:
·      Top Banner (728x90)  - $14.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Side Banner (160x600) - $8.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Bottom Banner (728x90) - $4.00 per 1000 impressions
Mobile Formats:
·      Top Banner (320x100) - $8.00 per 1000 impressions
·      Mid Page Banner (300x250) - $6.00 per 1000 impressions [Coin Detail Pages only]
·      Bottom Banner (320x100) - $4.00 per 1000 impressions [Coin Detail Pages only]
May promotion:  10% bonus impressions for orders of $25k or more

If these sites just go for some verification before promoting these scams, it would be very good for the visitors. Verification can include Mobile verification, Identity verification etc. These sites are an open image of crypto, if these sites just reduce their earned money by a bit and plan for long term then it would be beneficial for all of us.

If this is true, then CMC is not helping matters. As some people are helping to fight against scam, some are upholding it, which is not fair. CMC is one of the faces of crypto, an ambassador and a representative. However, in this situation, they are not representing the masses, but their personal gain.

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: October 29, 2019, 12:07:01 PM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them
There is no need to put blame on anyone. Rather, they should be thought on what to do or how to correct their mistakes, so that they do not repeat the same thing. They got convinced in their ignorance. Had it been they knew the right thing to do, they would have done it.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO's and IEO's on: October 29, 2019, 12:03:37 PM
the only difference is the middle letter. ICOs are scamming people by calling themselves initial "coin" offering and IEOs are scamming people by doing the same exact thing while calling themselves initial "exchange" offering.
the end result is exactly the same with different speeds at which they dump and exit. as IEOs are already supported by and listed on an exchange they can dump and run away faster.
This is absolute a good explanation, if we are to be sincere with ourselves. So many people actual thought that IEO is the saviour, meanwhile it isn't. The early investors of IEO are the ones that get the bulk, aside the project team. Particularly, for IEOs that grow after listing.
A time might come that IEO will end the same way ICO ended.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming Soon: China's Own Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 11:58:01 AM
The wisdom of this country when it comes to technological development, as off now is second to none. Well, others might try to overtake it soon. If care is not taken, China might take over the economic power through through the harnessing of cryptocurrency for further development. I think by now, US might begin to think towards that direction. That is if they do

351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: October 28, 2019, 09:10:09 PM
Even if the information is almost everywhere, some people still find it hard to sip information and make good use of them. Reading seems to be difficult to some. Perhaps because it saps their energy, which is quite different from my notion and believe about it.
What you know, no one can take it from you. So study the project you see and make sure you ask questions on what you do not understand.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 28, 2019, 09:05:09 PM
There are certain things you can still continue with without taking any break on time, Ben if you will leave other things aside. For instance, a bounty hunter that sees bounty as what is keeping him I'm this crypto space  are the earnings he make from bounty, can just choose a good manager and manage his projects, while still trying to learn other forma. Learning and work can go simultaneously.

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: October 27, 2019, 10:45:29 PM
I have not been seeing so many projects of late, that are in haste to get fund and take to heel. I was quite surprised, but that does not mean there are no shit coins. A lot of them would have gone into hibernation, but for the mere fact that they are still being invested in, they still last for some more time.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: October 27, 2019, 10:41:47 PM
Instead of devoting the whole of your time to online stuffs like this, you can also try to engage yourself with online businesses. If you are incapacitated for this, you can still make some funds through bounty, airdrops and the likes, than use such fund to start a business that will serve as another source of income.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 27, 2019, 10:37:44 PM
Of a truth, most of those who participate in IEO make profits except for some that turn the other way round and for this, a lot of them have given out their personal details in order to be able to join those ones. Yes, this is the kind of profit so many of us want, therefore, if you want to join them, you should comply.

358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Success factors of a project on: October 26, 2019, 11:16:19 PM
The main aspect of every good project, that should be considered is its product and marketing. A good product will he very easy to market. In fact, whoever is doing the marketing will be very glad to do that. Many of the the project out there fail, because their products cannot be trusted and used in the real sense of it.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: October 26, 2019, 11:13:06 PM
It is better not to invest in any project, than to invest in a project whose theme does not careful what the outcome might be. There are quite a good number of exchanges in the crypto space, although, their fees might be much, but it is better to list on just one of them, than to pile up so many unreliable exchanges.
