Reporting another "issue" with DGEX: I have not received the nxt that, according to the History page, have been sent.
My dgex account number: 2818 Sent to account: 14748981975238803545 Time of request: 4 January 22:37:55 Amount: 59,160 nxt
Maybe I'm using an old block explorer? (Is that even possible?) Can someone verify that this transfer has or has not made it to the account above?
I see two transfers that add up to 69020 that happened today, but not 59160 you can use http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=100 put in your acct # in box That's what I see. So it's still missing the most recent withdrawal. I've sent an email to dgex and posted the same note on the nxtcoin.org forum thread, which Graviton seems to be monitoring, so hopefully I'll hear a reply soon. Thank you for double-checking. Ok, the transfer finally showed up in my account. So now the question for dgex is: Why do you show "NXT Withdrawal COMPLETED" when it clearly is not even initiated, according to the block explorer? Let me just get my NXT out of dgex and I'll shut the hell up.

My companion and I lost all the property in DGEX, last night
any proof that this happened? Account Number, transaction, screeny, anything? Account ID: 4651 2014-01-05 18:57:14 Withdrawal fee -0.03920000 2014-01-05 18:57:14 BTC Withdrawal COMPLETED txid eb1cf41e82dfba1d47fab595efb857e57dbf6cd040ab685473dc42a7881c2a48 -1.36080000 2014-01-05 18:56:38 Quick Sell 14251 NXT at 0.00006900 each 0.9833190 Who can give me help? There has been a reports of problem with DGEX. Taking forever to transfer NXT or BTC problems, etc. But that is NXT major exchange for the time being. Until NxtChg or some of the major exchanges pick up Nxt. When you say, "Taking forever to transfer NXT or BTC problems" do you mean that the transfer can show as Completed but not actually be sent? I posted above about a withdrawal that hasn't shown up in my NXT account yet.

really need 267K NXT 5708493317559318384
I believe you lost some NXT someway as well? Unfortunately 267K NXT is waaaay more than I can afford to personally send. If we can get some donors on board I would be more than happy to facilitate again. I'm willing to donate a little more. Hopefully, others will make the decision to join in. We're not just building software, we're building community. Or so I'd like to believe. I sent 500 directly to sparta_cuss. If someone feels like sending directly to the victims you can also do that. Thank you, Up! That is not necessary, but I appreciate it very much. Support of the other members on this forum, not just personally, but in the commitment to use this bad spell as a catalyst to improve the product, takes quite a lot of the sting out of the theft.

Thank you to all the hands on deck sorting this mess out. rickyjames, I'll be sending you a few thousand NXT out of my own pocket as a thank you. To the detractors who have appeared today, remember that no project needs to be (nor can be) perfect out of the gate, but it must be resilient. And I think this NXT team is.

I know there are other modified clients around whether they use the same type of attack I don't know.
Let me very direct with this question and you need to sit at the keyboard for 5 minutes thinking about the answer you are about to type. Do not lie about this because you are in deep shit. Who else did you communicate with about your posting a contaminated NXT client at 162.243.246.233, and who communicated with you about the posting of ANY contaminated NXT clients ANYWHERE? I like your style, Mr. James. Did you get my zip file, and were you able to verify or dis-verify (word?) the version? I did indeed get your client file, definitely infected, SHA-256 was: 948CE760C379F13F4EA9DEF6BABAA36B0D706BF91098F1D64945FDDE3EAC5F06 THANK YOU! You have no idea how awful this whole thing has been, not the least of which was being disbelieved by some on this thread. There is a reward in heaven, I suppose for your efforts. But you won't have to wait that long. I will be sending you a NXT thank you out of my remaining funds (or reclaimed funds, if that ever happens) in thanks for your advocating for me.

Just transferred everything back to Dgex. Forging is done for me. If I can be hacked because of some security hole that Nxt cannot plug (key-loggers, for instance) than, though it's not Nxt's fault, it will hurt adoption and participation. Hey, what if they will hack Dgex? Or founder of Dgex will disappear in the dust? Like I said, cashing out as soon as I can. It's like you guys are building a really high-performance car, and then criticizing the roads for being too bumpy and drivers for being unskilled. It's a great car, and it can do amazing things, but if it isn't adapted to the world as it is or drivers as they are (and not as you want them to be), then it will not have widespread adoption.

I want to tell the world to never accept a withdrawal from my NXT account. To do this I click a button on my client and go to a special page. I pay a NXT fee and the page generates two numbers, a public key and a private key. I attach the public key to a colored coin. THis is my announcement to the world to lock my account... This can be done with existing functionality. Just create new account, send coins to it and never use this account until NXT costs $500. This is absolutely the same scheme as yours. And it's free That's basically what I did. Create an account with very strong pass (even a 160 bit pass is enough). Name it saving and transfer all your fund there. Never put the password online again. Nothing can break this account unless they can break down the whole NXT network. This kills NxT if people can't forge in a secure way. If no-one wants to forge because system is not secure enough (like having cold wallets) this is wtf. Exactly. Just transferred everything back to Dgex. Forging is done for me. If I can be hacked because of some security hole that Nxt cannot plug (key-loggers, for instance) than, though it's not Nxt's fault, it will hurt adoption and participation. I'm done participating. Just going to sit on the remaining investment and cash out when it reaches a decent price. But I won't be using this system. Going to be sick now. Or punch someone.

Hey, looks like I just got robbed, too. Someone please check this account: 12152013998194592943 They now have 147k+ from me. Had a 40 char random password, capital, lower, numbers, symbols. WTF?
you're 11794318797680953099? http://22k.io/-account/12152013998194592943Yes, that was me. Just created a new account, though, and sent the remaining 100k there. If you acc got hacked they will take all not leaving you with 100K. That 100k came after the theft via a transfer from Dgex. Just lucky timing.

I just did some very rough calculations, and it looks like we will hit block 317000 on the afternoon of January 4. Can someone confirm?

[via google spreadsheets] And what does it tell us? Think that's the buy/sell graph. So the price that people are willing to sell and price that people are willing to buy is around the .00007002-.0000752 range. I don't know why yuri posted it though Take a look at the Bitcoin buy/sell chart here for comparison ( http://www.bitcoinity.org/markets/bitstamp/USD). The amounts of buys and sells are inclusive as one moves away from the "center," the market price at the moment. I also don't know why he posted it, but it's an interesting and informative chart.

Lol, so you completely deviate from what i said and make fun of me for having a jokecoin in my sig? Should i repeat myself again so you can see what i said. Maybe with bigger text this time.
Exactly. A more professional attitude by an unofficial spokesperson for Quark would bring even more support for the coin. Act your age and thoroughly read what people post Digital
I have to agree with you, Robert, and with professorY. I have a stake in several other coins, and what impresses me about them is the level and type of discourse in the forums. They focus on solving specific technical and marketing issues, rolling out features, and enlisting wider support from third-party vendors. In general they don't waste too much time with third-grade trash talk, or anything else that doesn't advance the value of the product.

I've restarted start.jar a number of times, even after deleting blocks.nxt and transactions.nxt, and I still never get past block 22268. If I sit on it long enough, I can see more than 10 active peers and more than 500 known peers. Why am I repeatedly getting stuck on the same old block?
hey spartacuss, try redownloading the nxt folder, cd to it, and run java -jar from there.. seems to be the best way to clear out the stuck pipes Thank you, brooklynbtc. I'm unstuck now. No telling if I'm on the right chain, but we'll see in a moment, I reckon.
