Most people won't click on it, but to sum up.. The new VialectrumX does work & solves this problem.

Just some info to make you guys understand.
There are 2 versions

Vialectrum (Client) [based on Electrum]
Vialectrum-server [based on the Electrum Server

VialectrumX --> is based on ElectrumX which is the server version. Now it seems it works & I will make sure it will be run as default server !

But It seems like Electrum (Client) version started to support Segwit transactions, Ledger Nano & Trezor support.


So today I looked at the Electrum commits from the past 2 years and I thought, It will be easier to just start from scratch.
I forked Electrum, started to proogram & figure out how it works. I got Electrum working within an 1 hour (I expected it to be hard, but it was easy for me)

Only thing I now need to do is do branding ! Change names to viacoin.

If you use Linux, the conf file should be in ~/.viacoin/ directory. If it's not, create one.

Close the electrum wallet, restart your computer. Electrum wallet should work again. I had this too once.

No POS. Viacoin is not one of those yobit/cryptopia coins where you can mine for 2 weeks & it goes to POS.

Viacoin has Auxpow/Merge mining with Litecoin which is much safer. It explains the survival rate of Viacoin & the incredible high hashrate.

It has F2Pool. One of the biggest Bitcoin mining pool.
