I downloaded the viacoin wallet from viacoin.org but something seems wrong with the wallet. First when I tried my norton went crazy and kept deleting the file ( he does that with all wallets but you can restore and give permission to run it always except with viacoin) and when I finally had fixed the problem the windows setup turned immediately into the wallet itself  so maybe that is normal just havent seen it before? And now its syncing but is goes so slow, i see blocks getting downloaded but after many hours its still hasnt moved up a week still have 2 years and 37 weeks to go. What am I missing here? Try it with the rpc command -getinfo Might be just a gui bug. Viacoin 0.13.2 will be released soon anyways. |

I am loving the updates, hard work and of course price but what's up with all these new accounts that have less than 5 posts leaving just one sentence "Amazing update, will definitely invest more" posts.
edit: somehow I missed that SparkyU called it out already.
whoever is doing this, this is not a pump and dump coin, no need to "inflate" the interest in this way.
Yeah those new accounts are a bit strange. I have a decent amount of followers on twitter (4500+) who followed my work since September so it seems like some of them made an account to show support. Doesn't matter much, you also see 3 -5 gold coins account leave a positive feedback. For now I am happy with everyone being positive. |

Would like some help understanding why I still have transaction showing as unconfirmed. After your first install it takes some time. But later on you will see your transactions as verified. |

No those are old blocks. I mined those orphaned blocks a couple days ago, I didn't have enough hashrate. Orphaned blocks mean it doesn't know it parent block. Hashrate was too high making my chain invalid. Also Viacoin has an extemely fast blocktime 25x faster than Bitcoin. So that's why solo mining required 40Gh/s for me... For anyone who wants to mine, Mining Viacoin is very competitive. Hashrate is often between the 500GH/s - 1.2 TH/s. You should use a pool with enough hashrate & be a large miner yourself. Merge mining is recommended to maximize profits. (Free rocks --> I mean free Litecoins) |

Same as Bitcoin. Fees will be mined from transactions. However Viacoin has merged mining, so they can mine Litecoin and Viacoin at the same time. Making sure there is always enough hashrate & keeps it safe. |

Created the windows binaries today for the Viacoin electrum wallet. It took me several hours because. I noticed the build script for Electrum was missing wine python win_inet_pton I should probably make a pull request to bitcoin electrum so they can fix/complete the missing part for their script. I will do the official release for the Viacoin electrum wallet aka vialectrum later. I only have to build the Mac binary. But for the curious Linux users who would like to test https://github.com/vialectrum/vialectrumAny improvements, send me a pm or make a pull request. |

A nice bug fix has been made last night for Viacoin 0.13.2 (somtimes there were problems with the node) This was caused by bad version logic in the decision to serialize the auxpow block. So we are a step closer to the release. Also if there is a big Scrypt miner here (around 50GH/s, please contact me ! )  |

I had a photo of Drak with Amir Taaki, it was deleted by mods here because he's close to them. Drak is English while Romano is Dutch. I also have a photo of Romano. Anyway, the two hang out in different online circles and each have different coding backgrounds.
