Not really true. Teamviewer is a fully encrypted connection. Both video and keystrokes. Not sure if that can defend against keyloggers installed on the computer you are viewing, but at least your internet or LAN traffic cannot be monitored because of its end to end encryption. Always be sure your remote connection is fully encrypted. Free versions of software, like Real VNC for example, are not always fully encrypted, therefore any keystrokes and data can easily be deciphered. |

Hi,
I have been day trading alts since January and have made a bot to do all my work. I am not really interested in investing in any new coins as I already have too much in alts at the moment and not trading some of the more popular is also wasted money.
This is what I am offering anyone interested. If you loan me your coins (I only need about 1-2BTC worth) I will use them to trade and give you 35% of profits from the coins. Yes I understand that there will be a lot of people saying that this is a scam and so on and so forth but I have a lot of backing. In the poker community I have done hundred of thousands of dollars in transactions with a flawless record and am fairly well known. I just do not wish to invest anymore BTCs in alts that I do not know enough about. I have also borrowed with interest (and paid back fully) about 100 BTCs for trading purposes when the volume was about 20x what it is now.

Some thoughts: If this PoSA feature is not open sourced, it will never be fully trusted. So, eventually it will have to be open sourced (same goes for all other similar anonymizing methods on other coins). Question is, if it is open-sourced, will it still be secure and anonymous or it will be possible to track transactions?
Actually, open sourcing PoSA will make it even stronger. Any method of security that must remain closed source can't be trusted. The peer review process of open source only makes security implementations stronger in the long run. Even with PoSA's release looming on the horizon it will likely be improved many times in the coming weeks and months. Yet if you release it as open source, all the hard work of the cloak devs will be up for grabs for copy cat clones, thus making Cloak less valuable/desirable because now every new shit coin will have PoSA. I say keep it closed, this is Cloak tek not copy and paste code shitcoin tek That's absolutely not true. It would add value to cloak IMO. Supply and demand my friend. If cloak is the only coin with PoSA then demand will be higher. If 100 other coins now have PoSA, demand for cloak would decrease because there are now other avenues for PoSA anon. If cloak open sourced this technology tomorrow, by the end of the week there would be 10 new copycat coins. So, you choose to trust closed source anonymizing technology because of fear of copy cats... This means you only care about the market price and not anonymity.  Doesn't matter if it's open source or not. People will still be testing the anon and trying to break it. If you can't break it, the source doesn't matter. Unless you are implying the cloak devs are secretly part of the illuminatI and are trying to track your transactions. Of course we care about the price, that's why we are all here. I just got some CLOAK in my wallet but it says "Not minting because you do not have mature coins." What does this mean?
It means your coins have not yet reached the minimum time in your wallet start staking. This is known as coin age or "minimum stake age". After you coins have been in your wallet for 6 hours, they will start staking. |

seems a bit unfair to me.. I have about 3000 Cloak that is staking. True about the orphaned blocks, but I heard that other people with halve of my balance are receiving almost 1 Cloak a day.
How is this possible?
I thought that the stake was 6% per year?

Keep in mind you are actually mining when staking. When you mine, luck plays into it as well. After you stake for a long period of time, it will all even out. A friend of mine has about the same amount of cloak you do and gets roughly .5 to 1 cloak per day. For me, I get about 1 accepted block for every 8 or so unaccepted blocks. |

I don't see a reason CLOAK can't hit .01 It has a relatively low amount of coins (4.5 million) and some great features on the horizon. Just for comparison, DRK has 22 million coins and it surprassed .01 by far. Once more and more people realize the potential, price will rise nicely. CLOAK is still fairly new and doesn't have as much publicity as DRK and XC. Once PoSA comes out I think it will strike up much more interest in the coin. DRK has about same number of coins as CLOAK. Am I missing something? Specs for cloak says "Total Coins: 4.5 million" on the DRK ANN it says ~22M Is the cloak spec not accounting for PoS generated coins? |
