There is no rule that KYC can be only done at the time of withdrawal (please share with me the part in our terms where you got that information from). You can do it whenever you want. This has been answered here already:
However, we try to cover both needs. So when a player prefers to do the KYC earlier, he/she can do it right after the registration.
For the other players, it is fine when they just do the KYC when they know it's needed.

I understand your point here you explained to other users. I also understand your concern about forcing players to submit KYC when they make a deposit. People may not deposit if they see this platform asking them to submit KYC. But, believe or not. People don't care about what was written on TOS, and they sign up without reading the TOS. It's not the casino's fault. But people do it. If the Casino Triggers for KYC once a user makes a withdrawal request and the player does not know he has to submit the KYC (because he did not read the TOS), he will blame the casino.

I know it's not your fault. But, you can avoid such cases by giving a warning to players when they make a deposit. If you don't want to force them to submit KYC when they deposit, At least you can give a Pop up Warning that they Have to Submit KYC before they withdraw their Winnings. This is Bitcointalk forum and people here hate KYC.
342  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: March 29, 2023, 10:40:39 AM
But then time passed, concerns changed, overall care was diluted and the project was largely forgotten.
Stake makes so much money right now I doubt this foundation means much of anything to them now vs 2017. Priorities changed.

Does the Stake owner solely found it? I am not sure. Since OP is Stunna, I thought he created this ANN on their behalf of them. If the initiatives come from Stake, That's a good idea from them. When you create a platform and your concern and Priority change over the years because you are already the king, it's not good.

I believe you got my point. It will look like Stake created this platform to make sure other platforms use provably fair technology so they cannot take advantage. Now Stake becomes a whale in the casino Industry. But, if this is the main reason of abandoning the Crypto Gambling Foundation. That's selfish.

345  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Telegram-Bot] BitnewsNotifier on: March 28, 2023, 10:27:16 AM
As Hugeblack mentioned, I would also try your telegram bot if I can filter the news I am interested in.
There are a bunch of global websites that publish crypto news. But I am not interested in all crypto news except what's happening regarding Bitcoin. Indeed I don't want to hear what Justin sun is doing with his bunch of altcoins. I am not sure how many websites news your bot is covering right now and how reliable they are since I didn't try your bot yet. Keep the number significantly fewer with some reputed website news; all the news should be trustworthy. If you add too many websites, people will see the same news repeatedly from different websites, which we don't want.
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 28, 2023, 10:11:18 AM
I do agree that LN is not "real" at this moment since getting that into binance for example is hard.
I didn't get your point to be honest. You do agree lightning network Bitcoin is not "Real" Bitcoin just because you cannot transact with Binance? C'mon, bro! What are you talking about?

Quote
I just like to do segwit, that is more than enough for me and I feel comfortable about it. The amount that I have to pay is not giant, I remember old days when it was as high as 30-40 dollars at some point to move money around, this was both in 2017 and in 2021 as well, we are not there right now so it doesn't really feel that much.
I agree that segwit transactions are cheap and that's one of the reasons why we use it. But, Segwit is not faster than a lightning network. The lightning network is faster.

Quote
And if that ever feels like an issue, I can always use anything in bep20, it could be bnb, it could be busd, or it could be anything else. But here? Here, btc is fine, the price is not a lot and I get to withdraw to binance easily, then I can do whatever I want with it.

If you consider lightning network Bitcoin is not Real Bitcoin. How do you describe the bep20 network or whatever alternative network? Of course, you have a choice not to use the Native chain of Bitcoin. But, that's not real Bitcoin either.
347  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚖️ Crypto Gambling Foundation ⚖️ - Fair Gambling For All on: March 28, 2023, 09:15:21 AM
At first, I thought it was a new thread that got some decent replies. But then I saw it was created back in 2017. Guess what? Six years running since the thread was created, and I can see only a few numbers of websites were verified by https://cryptogambling.org/. I don't know why the numbers are not increasing after passing a few years. Only fourteen websites were verified by them, while a couple is under the same ownership. Stake and Primedice, Onehash and Cyberdice, Bitkong, Simpledice and LuckyDice under the same ownership. So, seven of them come from three owners. If I am not wrong, Onehash announced they wouldn't continue their service. After six years of creation, Only fourteen websites have been verified, which is somewhat scarry.

Yeah.. kind of felt that way. I don't want to speak out of turn since I might be wrong, it was so long ago, but I think I tried to get MintDice on there, a provably fair casino that fits the requirements. I think I was ignored (though I could be wrong).

In general, I think the idea of this foundation is a very good one. Inform people of the importance of provably fair options and to keep things open and transparent whenever possible. Which the vast majority of casinos don't abide by.

But if there's no real process to get in... it's kind of worthless.

That's precisely what I was talking about. Back then, there were fewer casino platforms.
But the situation now is not like before. We see new casinos pop up every few days, and they claim their platform using provably fair technology. Either they don't know about the Crypto gambling Foundation, Or they choose not to verify their games.

I am wondering, Does the Crypto gambling Foundation Invite other casinos to verify their games? They have to spread their existence among the casino industries. If Casino companies don't know that there are such platform where they can verify their games, I won't blame casinos for not knowing the existence of the Crypto gambling Foundation.
348  Other / Meta / Re: Why the forum didn't use the latest version? on: March 28, 2023, 09:07:32 AM
Guess why the forum has 2 admins and 3 global moderators.  Cheesy

I understand Cyrus may have access to the server, which he can modify. If he doesn't have access, that could be a significant pain. Do you believe global moderators have access to the server? If I am not wrong, is Bitcointalk using a private server that could be located in one of the Admin's houses or offices, which is somehow protected? I could be wrong because it is a potential threat to them. They don't want to get traced by the hosting server on their place. It seems we are going off-topic. I will try to find out similar thread where it was discussed.

Now a question is spinning in my head. As he said, he id the only sysadmin and on-demand programmer. What will be happen if we unfortunately lost theymos? This may doesn't make much sense but the possibility is unlimited.

I believe he already thought about that, and there are other people who are prepared to continue to maintain the forum, in case something happens.

That's what I am curious about. I don't know precisely how many Forum admins there are. I see theymos and Cyrus only. I am not sure if every one of them is an advanced coder (I guess they are). Suppose he thought about the future of this forum. In that case, other admins or whoever going to maintain the forum should already have access to the server because we can't guarantee that we will be safe wherever we are and will have time to hand over things to others. It may sound too deep. But, as I said, The possibility is unlimited.
351  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 27, 2023, 10:59:57 AM
If you are using Bitcoin, you can still get slightly lower fees on the weekend, but like I mentioned earlier, Ordinals have pretty much made the cheapest of BTC transactions impossible nowadays. Right now, we have close to 50k of unconfirmed transactions. It wasn't uncommon that this number was down to 1-3k a few months ago, but not anymore. But if you are using alternative chains that have cheaper fees and quicker block times anyways, I wouldn't concern myself about the time you make your transaction.

There are still over 41K Unconfirmed transactions while I am writing this post. The recommended fee is 4 satoshi per byte which is not too much in my opinion. I don't know if you consider Bitcoin as real Bitcoin on other chains except for lightning. Some people even think the lightning network Bitcoin is not real. We can indeed do transactions cheaper on different chains, but I don't believe all platforms support alternative chains. But I wouldn't say I like how people made alternative chains for Bitcoin that are not real.
352  Other / Meta / Re: Why the forum didn't use the latest version? on: March 27, 2023, 09:25:16 AM
Because theymos want to code with things he is most familiar and comfortable with to save his time.
It's been a decade since they modified this forum software. Too many changes were made in this forum software which maybe we did not notice. But, Upgrading to a new software would require modifying those features again, which is too time-consuming and theymos doesn't have it. Of course, he will be familiar with new codes as well once he starts to play with the new software. But, once again, He doesn't have this time.

- I am the only bitcointalk.org sysadmin and on-demand programmer, and I'm used to the current software. Furthermore, I need to frequently make changes to the current software, but each change I make might require alterations to Epochtalk, which is problematic.

Now a question is spinning in my head. As he said, he id the only sysadmin and on-demand programmer. What will be happen if we unfortunately lost theymos? This may doesn't make much sense but the possibility is unlimited.
353  Other / Meta / Re: Links should open in a new tab - Target="_blank" on: March 27, 2023, 09:11:14 AM
That way it would open links in a new tab, and I promise this will be something good for the forum and it will increase the traffic, and I don't mean more visitors, I mean the people will spend more time on the site because each time they get redirected to another site is like lose a customer, but that doesn't happen if links open in a new tab.

I don't think the forum needs to do that. We don't go outside the forum all the time. Maybe we visit one or two websites daily on the forum. If you visit a casino link, exchange link or whatever link, You may click on the Middle mouse button to open a new tab. I agree that sometimes we lose concentration in the forum once we visit casinos or other websites. But we have solutions, too, without modifying the forum.
354  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism Vs Scam on: March 26, 2023, 05:27:46 PM
Plagiarism can always be checked by forum staff using specialized services, or users who report cases of plagiarism always confirm the plagiarism with links to the sources. In this way plagiarism is provable. With the facts of fraud is quite different. To confirm the fact of fraud we need to investigate many factors, no one from the staff will do this. Plus, there is the possibility of staff interest in a particular investigation. That is why fraud is not moderated on the forum.

Yeah. I have found myself in a confusing situation several times so far. When I hear stories from one side, I believe them. But, When the opposite side writes an explanation, It looks like he is innocent, and the first party is guilty. Then again, the first part comes with more detailed information, and then the 2nd one. This thing continues, and we don't know who is telling the truth and who is a fraud. I see people create scam accusations against casinos while they are guilty of violating several TOS.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 26, 2023, 05:17:36 PM
500 runs in a T20 match, i think this is the first match we see this record breaking of highest total runs in both innings. Quinton de Kock and Hendricks took the game away from the West Indies. They made almost 150 runs in the first 10 overs and made the platform from which the rest of the team can take them to victory.

What a match it was. Damn it bro!
517 Runs is a single T20I match. The Highest Run chase Win for team South Africa. Guys, be honest here. When West Indies Scored 258 Runs in the first innings, Who thought South Africa would chase it successfully? This match registered a couple of new records. The previous most run chase was 245/5 - Australia vs. New Zealand, Auckland, 2018. The highest match aggregates in Men’s T20s was 515 - Quetta Gladiators vs. Multan Sultans, Rawalpindi, 2023. Now, this match takes both places. People who placed bets for WI after the first innings got puzzled.

356  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: March 26, 2023, 05:05:34 PM
I only know casinos accept unconfirmed transactions for betting, not for withdrawals from such deposits.

Agreed. Casinos use credit deposits instantly for betting only, so users don't have to wait for network confirmation. But in the meantime, they block other transactions such as Withdrawals/Make Rains in Chat/Tip to other users. I played at some casinos like this. Team Flush should be careful about this when will consider this suggestion because the possibility is unlimited on the internet.
357  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam duckdice.io on: March 26, 2023, 04:11:52 PM
I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this casino has had scam accusations and I haven't seen any cases having a happy ending in which the person who is accusing got what they wanted, that's why my advice to you: take your 1000$ and withdraw from that casino, you will not be able to get what you are complaining about, simply withdraw your 1000$ and forget about it, you can see this case:

I won't say I don't see any happy ending. You can check this thread Duckdice.io paid me the full amount, I have no complaints, thanks!. This is very recent case and the user get paid in full.

I received the money today in full, thanks a lot to the team Duckdice and separately @Kirito89

I would suggest OP to contact Kirito89 or bobstone as they are working for duckdice as a support agent and they are pretty much active on the forum. You may get help from them.
358  Other / Meta / Re: One new topic per month on: March 25, 2023, 04:14:58 PM
As an alternative: make it possible to create a new topic after receiving 10 new merits
People are here to learn new things regarding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. New people may even nit have any idea what the hell is merit. To create topics for their queries, you will force them to earn merit. Did I understand your points correctly? If so, I think this is a shit idea. People may have a lot of questions to learn for which they would need to create a few topics a week. How would this help them?
You should know that theymos don't like a lot of such restrictions, otherwise, we may see newbie jail too.

Or we may say the forum is not for newbies. We will find ourselves in an isolated place. I don't like too many restrictions as well. But, The Idea is not trash as you think. Some sections could be excluded from those rules if such a system takes into consideration. For example, Beginner & Help, Bitcoin Technical Support, and other boards where people used to post only when they needed help. Still, I don't think such Idea will help. People will get into trouble.
359  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sherbet.com 1206$ SCAM (stolen deposit) on: March 25, 2023, 03:49:55 PM
I find it simply amazing that most of the scam accusations against casinos are by newbie accounts. I'm not saying all of them a liars but i'll bet more then half are full of shit. They open an accusation knowing full well they're cheating a casino is some way, shape, or form.

It's a bit strange. But I am not surprised. No matter what we say but the truth is people, don't do their research or don't check everything when they get involved with casinos or online companies. People come here once they are already in trouble and want to get rid of it. Some of them indeed know that they are guilty. But, still they tell the story from their side in hope of getting some help from the community. As long as casinos freeze or confiscate balance with a valid reason, the chance are slim to get any help. Even the community cannot help if casinos doing something shady. It depends if the casino cares about it's reputation on this forum.
360  Economy / Reputation / Re: [v2][Self Moderated] In Merits, Count Down To Your Next Rank... on: March 25, 2023, 12:07:30 PM

New rules for countdown which should strictly followed...

Junior member merit (+1-9) CD to Member

But One shouldn't countdown before Activity reached.

I feel that this one is quite easy to achieve, since they only need 9 to rank up and could already start posting right after gaining 1 Merit. Perhaps start from 5 instead?

I feel like same as you. Gaining one merit is not hard, which is only 10% for the next rank. Users will post applications right after getting one merit from a random post. Imagine you have to earn 10 dollars to get 90 more dollars. I know you will be freaking out to earn just ten dollars. I feel like this is the same as my example. Maybe OP can rearrange the rules if he wants.
