341  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Storing bitcoin on ledger on: December 06, 2017, 09:01:40 PM
Just use the ledger one, trezor is safe but it can be easily broken because it is more flexible.

The ledger one is like a pendrive in aluminium, it is almost impossible to break and it can resist for a few years.

What wallets can I use to store bitcoin on ledger Nano except the ledger app one?

What a horrible idea, myetherwallet is one of the most un-safe wallets that are online, it can be easily pished by hackers. Just store your Erc20 tokens in the ledger, they allow them.

Like ethereum can be stored using myetherwallet.
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: CME Bitcoin Futures on: December 06, 2017, 08:44:18 PM
What? what do you mean by adding more speed to the network? do you know what a future contracts provider is? i guess that you dont.

btc rising without CME ,  CME may add more speed to bitcoin price and can see daily price update.

They are not going to add speed to the network, if you are trying to mean "price" the it is not going to happen too. because they are not going to buy bitcoin directly.

The ones who are going to buy bitcoin are the ones who invest through those futures, if the do not buy those future contracts, then they are not buying bitcoin, which is the same as nothing.

343  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase promise not yet fulfill of equal B2X and BTC on: December 06, 2017, 08:03:30 PM
I receive a mail from coinbase promising to allocate B2X to it members that has BTC in their wallet but after the fork till date nothing to show no sign please any idea?

But it happened probably one month ago, i dont remember when it was exactly, why are you complaining right now? I deposited more than 0.10 BTC in my coinbase wallet when it happened.

It wasn't worth it, because those coins were worth nothing, in fact i did not even moved them from there because they were worth dust.

and coinbase is a very risky wallet, why are you still holding your bitcoins in there? their support is never answering, you can easily get your funds freezed in there, be careful.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can I find a list of bitcoin brokers on: December 06, 2017, 07:47:44 PM
So are you looking for a broker or just a p2p exchange in where you can sell your bitcoins?

I am in need of a bit broker to help me sort out a problem of selling bitcoins face to face one big amount

You should know that a broker and a p2p exchange are very different things, they dont have anything in common.
In a p2p exchange, you sell your bitcoins face to face just as local bitcoins is doing right now if you find a good seller who is able to do this kind of exchanges.
But a broker, do you know what is that? It is a forex broker, and you are able to put long/short positions.
Try to make a good research before starting this kind of threads that are constantly spamming the site.

345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptokitties-good thing or bad thing ? on: December 06, 2017, 07:37:32 PM
Yesterday i was reading a lot of questions on the Dev of Ethereum, it is plenty of people talking shit about cryptokitties, nobody knows how did they developed such that project.

Right now ,it's clogging the network and forcing people to up gas prices but in the future

It is useless, kitties on an ethereum network? The developer was really drunk when he just came up with that idea.. And they raised a lot of money, i dont know what's wrong with the investors right now.

do you guys think having a game that popular (crypto-pokemons ?)could be a good thing for ethereum ?

Maybe this is a new trend for cryptos? creating games on the blockchain?
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crazy IOTA Hack story on: December 05, 2017, 10:54:56 PM
WOW, that is huge mate! I heard about that Hack before, it was the reason of why IOTA dropped that much the last time, if i am not wrong, it went from $0,75 to less than $0,30 each one of them.

That is probably the only reason of why i haven't bought iota yet, they doesnt have a strong wallet, you are forced to have your iota's in bitfinex or in any of those exchanges that accepts this one.

Maybe in a near future when they develop their own wallet, it is going to be more huge than now, i dont know why they haven't implemented it yet, because an official wallet would be great, specially because they have bene hacked before.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin indeed "looks" like a Ponzi scheme on: December 05, 2017, 10:15:11 PM
And that is the main reason of why bitcoin would not drop until we hear a massive FUD coming from some goverments or just a bank, bitcoin will be bullish because the demand is HUGE.

The more we hear about bitcoin rising price, the more people want their piece of the cake "ok I want to invest it that too

You are wrong with this, once that all people introduce theirselves into this sytem, they will like to stay in here, they have not discovered the real potential of bitcoin yet, they are still on the phase 1 of the adoption.

It looks like a Ponzi scheme because, when every potential bitcoin users of the population will have exhausted all of their "potential of speculation", there will be nothing left to sustain the price of the bitcoin.

It will never be happening, do you really think that the worldwide bank is going to say that bitcoin is a "normal currency", no.

but instead start to give bitcoin credits as a proper currency and not as a stock product
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin not so anonymous? on: December 05, 2017, 09:48:16 PM
It is nice to see a Newbie's fight! Lmao

I think bitcoin is anonymous to a certain extent,
Stop thinking.  It is dangerous to your health.

Anyway, bitcoin has been created to be ANONYMOUS, it is not working as it was before because a lot of people started to use it.

Because it has the records of all the transactions on all over the blockchain, it does not means that it is not anonymous, because it is the public record that makes the blockchain be legit, that has been created to prevent the double spend and all the scammers, and of course, the issue of the coin.

If you want a 100% anonymous coin, go and buy monero, everytime that you need to buy something with bitcoin, you must put your details and ID's almost everytime, so yes, now it is not anonymous, but it was created for it.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is NEO private key converted to NEOs public key? on: December 05, 2017, 09:23:42 PM
If you dont trust any of those Neo wallet providers, why dont you store your neo's on a ledger wallet?

it it is much more safe than just having all those coins in there, and we all know that they are pretty expensive right now (it is not $5 as it was a few months ago)

I dont trust in all those online wallets from neo, i had more than 10 in there and i feel very unconfortable, i dont know why, but i dont trust them.

The same happens with MyEtherWallet, it is very risky for me.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: This peak is not the 2013 top! Still more to go on: December 05, 2017, 08:55:01 PM
for some weird reason people love to  compare 2013 with this year just because price went up high! but in fact there is nothing similar to that year!

It is easy, it does not even need an answer, NEWBIES

If there is still people who thinks that "everything that is happening is connected to 2013" then why dont you leave the forum? this is not for that kind of people.
If you are still a newbie and you saw that the price dropped $500, it does not means that the price is gonna crash, hell, no, i am tired of seeing that kind of people once, and once again.

It is like a robot, they are always repeating the same bullshit.

351  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any alternatives to Kraken for EU citizen? on: December 05, 2017, 08:38:23 PM
The only alternative that you could use is just Bittrex, but they have been freezing a lot of accounts including mine, so i would not suggest you to use this one.

Why dont you try using cryptopia? They are the only exchange who allow US citizens without providing KYC or AML verifications, i have been using this exchange to buy a few altcoins and i have never had any problems.

Dont even think about registering in bittrex, they will close your account, so never, but never use it.

I would suggest you to use coinbase.. but you are just looking for an exchane with multiple altcoins, so i dont know what to tell you.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are old paper wallets safe ?? 3 years old address on: December 04, 2017, 11:40:44 PM
This is probably the only reason of why i would buy a trezor/ledger if i was in his shoes, if he has a few bitcoins,
now he is going to receive bitcoin cash + bitcoin gold, and bcash is worth a lot right now.

And a bonus: since you didn't move your money, you'll have for that address some Bcash, Bgold and whatever other forks they did/will do.

It depends, maybe if he move his funds to a wallet that has segwit intregated he will spend more time and money trying to move those funds.

All those wallets that have segwit are the real glory.. I have probably saved more than $250 since i have segwit on my wallet.

* the network is busy and this makes the fee/kb get high.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Short Term Profit on: December 04, 2017, 11:17:47 PM
It is a horrible advice, maybe holding bitcoin is one of the most safest things that you can do, but dash? Everybody knows that dash is a scam, only that it has went up like crazy.

more safely holding bitcoin) bot if you want you can try buy eth dash ... top 20 from coinmarketcap

I would suggest you to hold some Cardano right now, the price has been increasing a lot, maybe it will become the next Ripple in a few months, who knows?
I already bought more than one thousand dollars worth of this coin, and believe me, at the beggining i thought that it was a scammy project.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to invest £10,000 on: December 04, 2017, 10:49:37 PM
And how do you know that the price will drop to the 80's or 90's levels? it is impossible to know that.

And how do you know that it is going to be over $120 or $150 by next year? Are you a magician?

Buy some LTC whenever it goes down to 90' or 80's, the coin is promising to have an stable price in between 120/150 after this year.

Do whatever you want, if you want to buy litecoin, then buy it, it is one of the best altcoins that are now listed on the market.

The same applies to IOTA and Ethereum, they are probably the most promising altcoins that we are going to have during the next year.

Monero is a good coin too, but i would not put more than three thousand dollars in this, nobody knows if it can get stucked at some point just like it happened during this year on the first quarter.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Infographic] Is this how Bitcoin gets to $500,000? on: December 03, 2017, 03:03:04 PM
Oh yes, i remember when in March the price was about $700, and there were two teams: Seeing bitcoin go below $600, or go up to $1500.

actually Bitcoin ETF did not rejected by SEC but it's delayed by them(but in the surface they rejected it).

Wow, what a nice time, i still miss those times in when everybody was able to buy a whole bitcoin, but i remember the real fight that some users where having in there in the BTC/USD discussion on this forum.

They are not going to accept it as an ETF, it is impossible, because USA is doing as much as they can in order to regulate bitcoin.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect Alternatives on: December 03, 2017, 02:49:01 PM
You remind me of those guys who are always investing in ponzies and constantly switching to another to reduce their losses, and most of them lose all the money that they had.

are any services like that other than Birconnect?

They all are a shit man, i dont know why are you following those programs, they are not worth it, and you will probably lose all your money in there.

And if any one knows which one is better?

Why dont you try to invest a good amount of money into an altcoin and wait until you get some big money from there? it is much more better than just sit your ass on your chair and expect to earn 2% a day with a ponzi scheme.
357  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The end of BitConnect on: November 28, 2017, 11:59:16 PM
I know a friend who deposited more than six thousand dollars on bitconnect on November 14th, i told him and i he was aware of that bitconnect was a ponzi scheme, he did not heard to me, and he invested.

He already withdrew more than $950 so far, he is close to break even his investment, and he has planned to withdraw all the funds that he gets until January 12th, that is his break even date in USD.

But i dont know, those who invested a few months ago they have made a beatiful profit so far, but that is it, they made profit because they were the first ones, just like all the other ponzies out there.

Of course that those who are still promoting this ponzi really diserve to be knocked up on their faces, because they are like those people who were promoting hyips, revshares, ptc's, paid for captcha,  before.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA Lambos at the End of the year 2018! on: November 28, 2017, 11:31:48 PM
The only problem of iota is the huge supply that it has, maybe if they only have 100 millions max, or 200 millions at least, a lot of people would consider iota as a very profitable investment.

but honestly, if you are a newbie, and you see that a coin is $1,30, would you invest in this one? I wouldn't, only because it is very cheap and who knows if it is going to dissappear soon or not.

If the max supply would be of 100 millions at least the actual price of iota could be more than $10 at the moment, if i am not wrong.

But in fact this is one of the most biggest coins that we have listed right now, i have some iota's on my wallet. once that it gets listed on bittrex it is going to increase a lot, i am sure about that.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC OVER NINE THOUSAND!!! on: November 28, 2017, 10:56:36 PM
Yes, this is amazing, i think that we were not aware of the price and about the way that it was going to rise during this year.

I am so impressed about it, but who was going to know that it was going to touch ten thousand dollars during this year? I bet all my funds that nobody predicted that.

Maybe all those speculators who are always saying that bitcoin is going to be over $50k.. $100k.. $150k.. are true after all, i always used to blame them and tell them that they were just like newbies for saying that it was going to be worth that amount of money, but it seems that i was the only one who was wrong about it.

A Lot of people from my country is going to cash out their bitcoin earnings when the price touches $50k, and they are big whales, not just tiny investors.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whales questions? on: November 28, 2017, 10:40:34 PM
There is no fixed amount, of course, those who had 10k bitcoins on their wallets were huge whales when the price was $1000, because they were more than ten million dollars.

Just do that math for yourself, 10,000 x 10,000, it is an insane number, if someone tries to dump that kind of amount of money in a day, the market is going to collapse at least for more than $500 or $600.

At the moment, you just need a million dollars to be a big whale, but maybe a little bit more, it is just like i said, there is no an exact number to be considered as a whale.

Maybe in your country if you have more than $10,000 then you are a whale for them.
