341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you been doing with your Bitcoin in light of the price drop? on: August 20, 2014, 02:41:50 PM
holding since my first btc, i want to accumulate a good amount, i don't care about the current price to be honest

This is the best mindset to have. These fluctuations are probably just minor teething problems in the grand scheme of things. If yousee the potential value in bitcoin just keep holding and don't worry about it.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin will surpass bitcoin? on: August 20, 2014, 02:39:43 PM
If any coin was going to better Bitcoin it would have happened by now. Just look at all the alts and that's because they offer very little difference. A brand new coin would have to come out with something completely unique that Bitcoin couldn't really incorporate.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: August 18, 2014, 02:36:22 PM
The future is bright. Sure, it's stalling a bit with the price currently but I think big things are to come from bitcoin regardless of a few stumbling blocks.
344  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have Paypal want Bitcoins (Euros) on: August 18, 2014, 02:31:12 PM
I would always advise against using paypal but that's just with newbs or people without much feedback, but monbux is legit. He runs escrows. He's not going to scam you out of $20. Wouldnt make sense to.

Don't know who would sell at this current price though  Cheesy.

Good for you deadly I dont like how they are treating members, Im not going to gamble any of my btc anymore at there site.

Agreed is wrong on how they are going about it, they are punishing all members due to spammers.

It's just one of those things. I remember I had to leave this campaign for a fortnight or so when they changed the signature restrictions and certain ranked members wern't allowed any more. And like deadley said nothing lasts forever, and stunna needs to do what he feels right. Paying out 30btc is a ridiculous amount for advertising. There are still plenty of other deals available too.

How do you find your refs?

They're on the left under affiliates and you need to click on the affiliate dashboard or just go to: primedice.com/#/affiliate

this may have been asked already. But there have been many posts since the original op. What is the payout for legendary status? Granted there isn't too many folks with that status. I'm getting closer though Wink

The payout will be the same as Hero. I doubt there will be any campaigns that give them more as their signature is the same size and no more prominent than Heroes.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin rise without big news? on: August 17, 2014, 10:45:12 AM
I think these small peaks and troughs will be peanuts compared to what bitcoin could potentially be worth in the near future so I wouldn't sweat it. I'm sure we'll see a nice jump with some real big news very soon.
349  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game| 0.91% Edge| PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: August 17, 2014, 10:43:12 AM
Who the hell will get 5k messages? You'd have to put in a considerable ammount of time chatting shit there to get anywhere near that, and are you sure it's right? I've chatted in there a bit already but it only went up by about 10 satoshis or something and I made much more than ten posts.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay may begin accepting Bitcoin payments via its Braintree platform on: August 17, 2014, 10:40:36 AM
What's the source and I don't see anything that suggests ebay will other than assumption. It may accept it, but it may not.

After the success of Dell with bitcoin payments, I would be surprised if ebay, amazon and other big companies wouldn't start accepting btc any time soon.

But Bitcoin is a direct competitior to Paypal, infact it could have the potential to severly damage it once people see how cheap and safe it is to send bitcoins.

This Coindesk article clarifies quite a bit

http://www.coindesk.com/paypal-subsidiary-braintee-talks-coinbase-accept-bitcoin/

I meant the source for this article, but I don't see anything suggesting ebay will.

Quote
a subsidiary of eBay and PayPal, is “in talks” with Coinbase and several other processing companies on the possibility of accepting bitcoin

A subsidary and keywords “in talks”, so nothing to get excited about yet.

How can you fully prevent against them? I think there will always be ways around it.

Is PD down for anyone else? I just get a blank blue screen.
353  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 17, 2014, 10:21:59 AM
It will be weird if this deal changes to a fixed rate one. It's always been a pay per post campaign and more often than not the highest. I like the fixed rate deals more though because I only post a few a day so these are better. May join if you change though.

How many Full Member slots are left? Also, do you get paid for this on the same date you signed up but the following month?

I believe the faucet is unlimited, right? As in there isn't a maximum... but as you rise in levels it gets harder to rise the faucet amount?
Nope if i'm right then it's 5k max for chatting and 5k for level 40. So it's currenly max 10k satoshis.

Does that mean there will be no more 10k satoshi happy hours? How long do you have to chat to get 5k on the faucet?
358  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-16] Bitcoin Falls Out Of Its Trading Range on: August 17, 2014, 09:50:30 AM
I'd love to know why it's happening. All I know is it's disheartening that we seem to be on the up with adoption and popularity, yet the price does this. It's baffling.
359  Economy / Services / Re: EdenDice Signature Campaign | Earn Up to 0.1btc for 50 posts | Ref Links Allowed on: August 15, 2014, 09:58:50 AM
When will slots open up for more new members and my signature deal is coming to an end soon. I like that you can use ref links and also get a profit share.

Probably wont unless people leave, though maybe you can join next month on the new term. Check the sig overview thread for running deals https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

I don't see how this has to do with the creation of bitcoin. But how do you make so much money from selling wow gold? How do you even get it in the first place?
