And i would suggest fiat has been used for all of the above and much much worse. What do you suggest, we ban that too, and go back to a barter system?
The article doesn't say anything about banning bitcoin. I believe if the same case was involved with fiat, then the punishment would still be the same . If he is found guilty for the majority of 7 counts , then he is definitely going in for a long time.

I didn't say the article did mention banning bitcoin, it was a remark at the op's obvious disdain for bitcoin.
Ah, just saw his last paragraph. No idea why is the op still wasting his time here then, when he should be out there enjoying the beach.
Seems all his post history has been hate towards bitcoin.

The post from theymos says the last used IP, and the registration IP. So I don't think any IP other than those 2 were leaked.

345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much longer till you can buy a Slurpee at 7/11 with Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2015, 09:16:09 PM
It all depends on adoption. Seems that the adoption is increasing amongst individual business owners but its still slow for large business owners specially those in-store businesses, that probably do not see the benefit of adding bitcoin as a payment option. It would be hard to put a time line of when it might happen, but once a couple of big store chains like Walmart and Mcdonalds start accepting it, it will spread like a domino effect.
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin is the savior of professional poker players on: May 25, 2015, 09:03:07 PM
I did expect bitcoin to be a savior for professional players as well, but seems not a lot of people have moved their poker games on bitcoin sites. There was definitely a lot of traffic post Pokerstars banning US players, but seems an year or 2 later, the interest has died out.
I still wonder where they head for all the action post black friday.
347  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.ps ✔#1 Bitcoin Sportsbook ✔The best LIVE CASINO ✔Instant Withdrawals on: May 21, 2015, 03:26:54 PM
Do you guys have Horse Racing Bets available on Jetwin???
That too, are they available during live also???

Just asking this here because I don't want to create an account before knowing the same...

Jetwin does not have Horse betting on their site. And you can actually just browse the games without having to create an account.
sports.jetwin.ps

Thanks for your reply...
If you don't mind, can you PM me where can I bet on Horse Racing except Directbet???
That too where live betting is available???

I don't do Horse betting, and wouldn't know . I have only seen it on Directbet for bitcoins myself. I guess you can always convert your funds to Neteller and try your luck on one of the famous gambling sites like Bet365.

349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blokes Use Breaking Bad Theme to Extort Innocent Aussie Victims on: May 21, 2015, 02:56:17 PM
I have heard these ransom are really spreading all over the world, and happening every day. Happens more to small businesses who are likely to pay the 100-1000$ ranson.

I really don't think that he would be able to sell any of it.
Like I said, even if one satoshi from those coins moves, BTC will probably tank within minutes.

Why though? I really am curious. Trigger a wave of panic selling? Corporate executives sell personal shares of their companies all the time, sometimes with bigger market reactions than others, but it rarely tanks a stock price.

People would probably fear that he might sell his other coins. Unlike a corporate executive, we know nothing about satoshi.
350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thinking of starting a Bitcoin Casino. on: May 21, 2015, 02:48:46 PM
I am not good as business.
You need to have some features in your casino that makes it stand out from the rest.
What do you have to attract people to join your casino?

For attracting new people, what works out is getting people to try out your casino, and if they get hooked , they will likely stay. So some giveaways or free bonuses on site usually works well in that way.
351  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinDial: Make Calls With Bitcoin! on: May 20, 2015, 09:26:14 PM
It would be cool, but a project on itself. Definitely doable though.

Seems your service can be used anonymously... a bit expensive though. But, criminals may be your customer to make extortion calls as well as elites may use it to book call girls.

As I can see, you are talking about making it open source. Hows that going to financially benefit you ? Will it be partially open source, so that use of your service remains mandatory ? Or you plan to monetize it from BitKit API ?
Its not completely anonymous, but yes it can definitely be exploited in some manner.

In regards to abuse, we have very clear terms of use, so does the telco provider. The call receiver can also block his number, no questions asked.

But how would someone who does not know of the service know that he is being called using this site or service ?  To him it will just be another number that he is getting a call from.
352  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do Sportsbooks get live odds when they have live betting ? on: May 20, 2015, 06:36:28 PM
They get the odds usually from there providers, but some sites like directbet also provide that you can negotiate for the odd
of a game
What Directbet does isn't exactly called Negotiating. What happens is that the gambler selects the odds he wants to bet on, now once the odds from the odd provider go above these odds, only then the bet gets confirmed at those odds. There is no negotiation whatsoever.
353  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinDial: Make Calls With Bitcoin! on: May 20, 2015, 03:21:30 PM
Just give it a specific number, and hit "Call". It prices it out and gives you an invoice that you can just cancel if that's not what you want.

As for IP logging, since it's hosted on Google App Engine, you should probably assume your IP is recorded in at least 10 places... ;-)
Even though its hosted on the Google App Engine, I assume its not their service that you are using for calling. So if I was to make an anonymous call to someone, will someone be able to get to you, and then to me through the number and the IP ?
Not that I plan on doing something wrong, just would like to know.
354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any chess sites that allow people to bet with Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2015, 02:30:14 PM
Nobody likes to play chess in Internet, and even more so with money, because there is a lot of bots. Sorry, but it's very discouraging.
Actually there are ways which people can use to avoid Bots in play. Captchas are one way that might be done after every few turns, but it does get really annoying then.
355  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinDial: Make Calls With Bitcoin! on: May 19, 2015, 10:40:51 PM
Would be nice to get an estimate on how much the rates are going to be before placing the call. International calling is definitely much more expensive than other services around. Do you also save IP's of the person who makes the call using your service ?
356  Economy / Services / Re: [INT. CALLS] [Untraceable] [For Sale, Program/Site] Chiliphone on: May 19, 2015, 10:36:49 PM
haha chilliphone wont be able to sell thanks to this competitor that just showed up.

There's also XCoinCall and now BitcoinDial as well.
Nice to have 2 new services popping up recently. Seems Bitcoin Dial rather just launched today.
They also seem to be much expensive. XcoinCall is still fine with the rates.
357  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: May 19, 2015, 08:12:10 PM
Yes there really should be an OP that can just lock or delete topics which are no longer valid. This swearing is pointless and not leading to anywhere. So its best to just move on.
Seems the OP hasn't been online since March, perhaps Micon can just request an admin to lock the thread and continue all discussion on the new SWC thread.
358  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling experience - max negative times in row on: May 19, 2015, 06:19:05 PM
There's no such a thing as max loss streak. It always depends on the payout you play and how long you are rolling at that. The longer you roll, the bigger the streaks will become (both good and bad).
Even though there is no longest streak, getting over 40 losses in a row at 50% is Very much impossible of sorts.
The max number of losses I have heard is around 32. Now consider the number of rolls happening on All the sites, must be Billions, and none of them have seen or atleast reported losses of more than 35 ever happening at 50%.
359  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: May 19, 2015, 06:15:57 PM

Yes, he purposefully made it not strong enough. Its extremely easy to detect if collusion is happening or not. Its called common sense. if you see the same 3 players all playing together at multiple tables at a time, THEY ARE COLLUDING!

ITS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION.

Frankly I hope he serves time for theft and fraud.
No its not always easy to spot colluders.   I guess the playing style can point out towards it, but as a player sitting on the site, it is very hard to point to a 100% colluder.
360  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase accounts are closed due to US Govt sanctions on: May 18, 2015, 09:17:37 PM
There are so many other places that the US has no reach. Why would someone in Iran use a US website to buy bitcoins?

Why even post here, it's not shocking, Coinbase is doing nothing wrong. I know the US want's too much control over the world, but it's not the people's fault, it's not the companies fault. Don't blame the people or the small companies.
I suppose its because there are not a lot of secure options in other countries to use as a web wallet . Also I haven't ever used the wallet, but I assume it does not clearly state that other country residents are not allowed to use it(but I might be wrong with this) .
