He was a very good player in the past. However, he could only score 1 goal in 12 matches in Sao Paolo. Before that, he had 5 goals in 20 games for Olympiacos. That means he scored 6 goals in 32 matches. He is now a player who can be considered inefficient. His position is Midfield, but I think Beşiktaş needs younger and better players. You may not always get the performance you want from older players.

James Rodriguez has definitely had a very rough ending to this his career, he has practically switched from more multiple clubs around the world since his departure from Everton. Who would have guessed that a player that had the world at his fee will actually ended up like this. His biggest mistake was moving out of Europe too early. Since he made that move he has been trying to come back again but it is not longer possible because he has lost that creative touch and has struggled to cement a place in any of the clubs he has come back to.

A move to Beşiktaş will be a good to me, the club is in a league that has been favorable to older players hopefully he can find his feet again for the short period left in his career.

Its not happening and even if PSG somehow have all the money in the world, it would be stupid to offer him that much. The only reason PSG kept on offering him new contract is to keep him from leaving for free. Its pretty clear that PSG is trying to milk him by keeping him with a new contract so that they would get benefit from the transfer fees. So they are never going to offer him that insane amount just to keep him for couple of months before selling him off to another club

Also there is a clause that states that if he stays and see out his contract they will compensate him with some extra bonuses, this was part of what is keeping Mbappe himself. I wouldn’t rule out that amount for a short period of time because PSG have definitely spend excessively in the past before. But to be honest I think they should give up on keeping Mbappe because it’s high time he moves to a more competitive league. Madrid will definitely offer him more chances of becoming a ballon D’ OR winner too.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 07, 2024, 11:02:33 PM
Not everyone is moving toward a cashless society and, frankly, I don't think we should be moving there completely. Cashless means of payment can exclude certain people for whom technological advancements are difficult or unaffordable. Also, going fully digital means becoming more vulnerable in cases of blackouts or some cyberattacks because there won't be another way to pay. Not to mention that Bitcoin isn't necessary for a cashless society because bank accounts and CBDCs can do just fine without it.
Bitcoin is an option, but not the only option.

Some geopolitical factors are definitely what will stop bitcoin from been used as primary means of exchange. If you look at it, satoshi himself might have thought of this challenges and that’s why he clearly stated that this bitcoin is clearly an alternative to the traditional currency. If you look at the less developed areas they suffer not only for the lack of knowledge but also they don’t have any network connections in their areas. Without this two the transaction would not be possible.

Right now I only see bitcoin as a payment method for large transactions amounts and not smaller ones. Also bitcoin to me fit perfectly well for cross border transactions where you don’t need to worry about the hassle of converting from different currencies to another before sending them.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 07, 2024, 10:27:49 PM
Now I observed that Bitcoin is like a gamble of football game whereby you go to the bet shop book your bet and wait for what will come sometimes you win sometimes fear can make you cash out after your cash out you may be lucky and sometimes you might lose something you would have gotten if you had waited.

Same to Bitcoin patience matters alot you may sometimes sell your Bitcoin because of fear of depreciation in value exchange while some still hold on to it
I just discovered that Bitcoin most times depreciates in day time but when it gets to late hours at night it increases its exchange value I don't know if anyone has this observation as well

So for me in this situation you can buy your Bitcoin at day time and trade it at night when it adds
But it is very important to watch at it carefully.

Bitcoin is never a gamble because in gambling you never can tell when all bets will win but with bitcoin and he invest its knowledge you can simply predict even though it’s not something too accurate but example is during bull run we all can predict an uprise of bitcoin and we all Know that this bull comes after an halving I don’t think a gamble can turn waves like that.

Another thing is the trading you made look like a gambling also doesn’t actually seems like it is, because trading requires skills either fundamental skill or technical skills. This two combine can put someone in advantage of winning every trade rather  than gambling that is always a 50/50 chance

Also it seems you check on the bitcoin chart too much during the day and later think they move well in the night since you don’t get to check them

I don't know if Barcelona can achieve the success they achieved with Xavi from another former player. He is not bad as a coach now, but Barcelona may not have the opportunities to offer him for their goals. Still, returning to Spain might appeal to him, too. Considering that Xavi will leave Barça at the end of the year, Motta could be a candidate. In my opinion, they need to bring in a more experienced coach.

Not that I am advocating for Barcelona to sign Motta or any player turn coach but saying Motta isn’t ok was like saying Xabi wasn’t ready when they signed him. He had been only in Qatar before giving the Barcelona job and when compared to this Motta situation one can say that, Motta coaches a better team. The Barcelona club issue expands beyond just this coach of a thing saga but rather a proper restructuring needs to be done from the top to actually guarantee the team a success if but even if they sign the best Coaches in the world it would still not be enough to get them back on track. Right now I havd weighed more options and I will say the Girona coach or even Brighton DeZerbi could be another wild card play. This people wouldn’t be under pressure to deliver since many might not place a high hope on then

Borussia Dortmund's experienced right-back Thomas Meunier has signed for Trabzonspor. Meunier, who played 8 games in the league this season, has always said that he wants to play and Trabzonspor is one of the most suitable teams for him. Trabzonspor, which is not having a good period in the Turkish League, has thus made an important transfer to the defense. Meunier wants to play in Euro 2024, he can be fit and ready to play for Belgium when he gets enough time in Trabzonspor for the rest of the league.

Thomas Meunièr has had a nightmare time in Dortmund since moving there from PSG, he has always been injured and this is first season he is getting regular football since the past three seasons, we all know the quality that he possesses, so moving to another club where he will see regular football to me is the best thing he has done
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 10:28:19 PM

Share your opinion about this two mistakes with your experience.

Revenge Gambling

This kind of gambling is what most gamblers do and end losing everything they have. A gamble could have stake let say on a football games with more than five matches and if a game gets cut in that’s staked games he goes back to play the game or others with the intention that the money lost on the first game will he recovered. This is the kind of gambling is where you lose more money instead of winning. So when you experience a loss in a game it is better to close the game and then come back the next day but increasing either your stake amount or any just to get the lost money back is bad
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 05, 2024, 07:31:32 PM
Even if the season is still long, I fear that Liverpool will end up losing the decisive games against their direct rivals. In the last few games they have clearly dominated the worser teams like Norwich, but as soon as a team from the top 6 comes along, they oftentimes have serious difficulties. You saw that very well again against Arsenal. I wouldn't begrudge Liverpool the championship, but if ManCity don't slip up, it will become very, very difficult.

I don’t agree with your analysis because Liverpool has certainly been at their best even against bigger oppositions like the traditional top six teams. Against a rejuvenated Arsenal they came up with a tactics that didn’t work out although I expected Klopp to have reverted back to the normal high press and but he didn’t and Arsenal who should have had more capitalized on that.

Now to your question of them wining the weaker teams and not getting maximum points against the likes of Manchester city and Arsenal, i will say Liverpool actually have proven that they want to win the league with that. One thing I found interesting with the premier league is that you can simply win all games so instead of focusing on winning your arch rivals alone why not winning all small and middle teams and then later share spoils against the bigger ones. This way you will be able to narrow down the points. Manchester city had been doing this in past seasons and it has worked. You will see the likes of Manchester United beating them and they would still win the league way clear of them.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 03, 2024, 03:02:50 PM
Yes, it's true what you said, before we look at Real Madrid's match against Girona, this Sunday is quite a difficult week for Real Madrid because they will play Atletico Madrid because Atletico Madrid is their arch enemy in the Madrid derby match. I hope Real Madrid doesn't lose in that match,

If this week both teams succeed in winning their opponents, of course the points will still be quite tight, namely 2 points. And the following week the difference in points will be determined. Because Girona will visit Real Madrid's headquarters, I am not so sure that Girona can win the match at Real Madrid's headquarters.

One thing we are not all realizing is the fact that head to head against the two teams contending for the league sometimes doesn’t matter but teams get carried away with this things and they end up losing to other clubs. This is the second half of the season aside the fight for the league there are other fights like that for European places and also those fights against relegation, the clubs competing for this two spots are mostly the clubs that ends up deciding the league title because you might see a title contender beating all his competitors and losing to this clubs which sometimes causes them the league. So my point has always been once the league is at this stage it is now, then treat every game as the final and that will help you garner more points just in case you need them. Head to head only matter when the clubs are tie on points
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 03, 2024, 02:54:00 PM
Any team, let alone Everton's inconsistency, would be nervous facing Tottenham and Manchester City back-to-back. Recent games haven't inspired confidence, and it's hard to predict where the points will come from. Tottenham, who want to finish in the top 4, won't sit back, especially with Everton's recent form

I feel sorry for Everton. This season, the club has struggled with morale. The discussed enthusiasm loss is crucial. Football is both mental and physical. Unless Everton can rekindle his drive, the future appears bleak. For a club with a rich history, relegation is heartbreaking. I hope they can rally and prove their naysayers wrong in these next few matches as a fan

I don’t think they have actually suffered with moral this season, in fact after last season’s relegation battle that Almost caught them Sean Dyche’s mean where super in the beginning of the season not until the FA and its 10 points deduction rule struck, still they kept the hopes alive and have since fight back from the last place in the table with just 4 points left to an 18 points now and just a point behind Luton who occupy the last place before relegation. This kind of fight that Everton have put into place is why I wouldn’t say they have struggled with morale but they have certainly done their best that I hope they avoid this relegation because it will be hurting to take for them. Right now after this spirited fight back against Tottenham who to be Frank have been in stellar form of recent I see them getting outside of relegation zone if at all the new rumored 10 more points deduction doesn’t happens

Richarlison has become an important player for Tottenham because in the last few games he has always scored goals, it seems that he has found confidence at Spurs.

See it was never a debate as to whether the guy had it in him because we all know how Richarlison was at Everton but moving to Tottenham and not getting at it early affected his psychological health and this outrightly affected his game. The best thing he did for himself this season was coming out to tell the world how mental distress he was and how he took counseling, since then the Tottenham coach who has been seriously instrumental in his recovery and how the fans began to reduce the pressure on him helped him to his first goal and as they say once a striker gets off the Mark then that’s continue if he doesn’t changes routine and keeps being consistent and seriously Richarlison has been that player this season. I am happy he has found his feet back,  now EPL defenders need to worry about this lad just like those days at Everton. Also great gesture form him not to celebrate the goal against Everton today
349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social media is a breeding ground for scamers, be intelligent while you explore on: February 03, 2024, 12:00:14 AM
Its has been a long since I visited any of the social media for any updates and this is because there are no updates there and I would rather look for information from discussions in forums such as here and get any updates that I need instead of going to social media where every jack and Harry is a reporter and filled with fake news.
We need to take the responsibility of getting the right news by ourselves and since scammers have flooded social media space,  it becomes highly important for us to make adequate efforts to get hold of the best and legit news only.

One thing been said is, never trust the information giving to you on social media or just anywhere. The internet is still new in people’s minds and the scammer are trying more and more technics daily to help them attack people. One thing I will say is most people that fall to this scams aren’t just gullible alone but rather also greedy to rip out money and that’s where they fall victim. Cryptocurrency scam will definitely be around till any time but we can limit the rate at which we fall victim or allow our people to fall victim by making them understand that one’s an offer is juicy then it is not real
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 02, 2024, 11:15:39 PM

The match was supposed to have been easy for Dortmund to grab three points but they were unable to after drawing the match against Heidenheim. They played a very good game and everything was in their favour, from the possession to shots, to shots on target but they were not able to convert even one goal from all the opportunities they had. Dortmund will have to remain on fourth position for now sharing the same points with Stuttgart who are one game behind and share the same points with them. It was a shame they had to share point with a team like Heidenheim at this critical time, this shows how weak the Dortmund team are and could lose the opportunity to go for the champions league competition.

The match wasn’t supposed to be as easy as you put it out because Heidenheim aren’t just any other club this season, yes they might have been just promoted to the Bundesliga but they have become a strong force to face. They currently sit 9th on the Bundesliga standings which isn’t a position usually occupied by newly promoted clubs but they showed why they are there. They are not regarded as just any bottom club but a mid table club capable of causing any upset in the league.

Dortmund on the other hand have been very poor this season not that they have been far too behind from the European places but rather they are not seriously challenging for the tittle like I expected them to do this season. They have failed to win some games that they should be wining and this is what is affecting them. I don’t count them again as title contenders but rather top 4 chasers.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 02, 2024, 06:02:03 PM
Manchester United were lucky with a goal scored by Kobbie Mainoo in injury time, an additional 3 points meant a lot for Ten Hag squad to get closer to the European zone. Overall, United performance is not much different from Chelsea this season, only being able to become a mid table team, and it must be admitted that Chelsea has had a worse performance. There are many shortcomings that we can mention about these two teams, but what is clear is that the setbacks they experienced created a gap for teams like Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal to compete fiercely at the top of the standings.

Especially for United, we have very often read negative comments about Ten Hag, the players, internal conflicts and disciplinary problems that have befallen United this season. This series of events makes us doubt and wonder where they will finish at the end of the season, the latest victory over Wolves should be used as a turning point in performance, although it doesn't mean much else, but United can finish in a more decent place when the season ends. Ten Hag experiment was successful, it is better to give more confidence to young players, when the senior players are too inconsistent.

Yesterday I wouldn’t lie United play there best game of the season in the first half and that tells you the impact the likes of Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez have on the team. Both of them came in with Shaw and you could see the composure in the team most especially the defense line and that actually shows what the team has been missing throughout the season. The attack line actually let them down a bit last night because Manchester United Should have closed the game in the first 45 minutes but they miss chances and that caused the team, this has been the story of united season.

Now Ten Hag seriously doesn’t have any excuse left, because he used the team injury as excuses for his loses and now they are all back and fit. Yesterday he made some bad decisions on bring in players because some substitutions were actually bad yesternight and almost cause the team.
352  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Difference between bitcoin investment and trading on exchange on: February 02, 2024, 04:21:00 PM

Even if you didn’t say this, the difference between bitcoin and trading is obviously different; however, you don’t have to say trading or exchanges, whether trading on exchanges or whatever trading is trading. I think you don’t understand it well, which is why you said it this way. Bitcoin investment is not the same as trading crypto currency because Bitcoin investment is a long-term investment, and trading is just buying and selling crypto in a moment without wasting much of your time, and you’ll get the result of your investment.

Yes there is clear difference between investing (which is holding ) and trading. There is two trading again also which is either spot trading or futures; which are sometimes called derivatives. This two trading are most executed on exchanges most especially the future trading, that’s why OP actually signifies trading on exchanges. This future trading on exchanges is those where traders uses leverages (borrowed funds) to trade. This is very risky trading and some investor’s labels it gambling.

As for OP I will advice one to stick to bitcoin holding as in the future it’s profitable and way less riskier than trading of any kind. Trading requires you to have sufficient knowledge like the fundamental knowledge use by investors and also technical knowledge to analyze a particular coin chart. Most at times people get carried away with the money some traders make and they rush to join and this mostly get them liquidated.
353  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What makes BTC stronger. on: February 01, 2024, 11:49:56 PM
BTC no dey new to us but e get some unique things about am wey dey make am stronger over other currency. The first one be say na limited number of BTC in circulation which is exactly 21 million BTC, the advantage of this be say e get protection against inflation wey dey happen as CBN or the equivalent for other dey print Naira (or equivalent in other country) anytime wey dey like.

Yes the number of bitcoin that ever will ever be in existence will be 21 million which but it is not all that is in circulation now but more than 90% of it. This limited number actually give bitcoin the store of  value which is as you said the most important thing but one core thing is the decentralization. Many people choose bitcoin because they want to be in total control of their money and banks we all know how they control People money this is also one of the reasons why people prefer bitcoin. Also bitcoin is a very good hedge against inflation and with ten current inflation striking especially this naira it will be better to have savings in bitcoin. You can be completely anonymous with bitcoin usage.

I'm actually looking at the possibility of those guys doing importation and exportation business to using Bitcoin as their mode of payment since the price of dollar have risen too much and is affecting their business negatively.

The problem is some of them do not have this knowledge about bitcoin and as such they do not consider as a means of payment. Also a very big obstacle still remains which is the transaction fee. The high transaction fee will discourage even the buyer to use it because they will have to pay huge amount for transaction fee.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 01, 2024, 11:21:34 PM
He is yet to disclose whether he will come back to football at all. If you followed the news and his interview, there won't be any new club or any new national team to be coached by him for the near future. His decision is final and he added that he didn't want to make that decision, but he had to make it. He was very serious about it and that is why there is nothing to disclose for him.

Rumors will be all over the place as soon as one big coach gets fired somewhere or a national team is looking for someone. His name will be dropped all the time because it ensures the article gets clicked, but I am convinced that he is serious about his words and he will take a break at least.

He didn’t say he was going to rule out coaching again but he was to take a rest and when he was asked if the sabbatical or holiday will end soon he said he will think about it but a return wouldn’t be till at least after a year and also he will never ever coach another premier league team again except Liverpool, which is kind of a great a respect he has honored them with.

You know whenever a coach is sacked you see many people bringing different speculations about his next move, same things happen to Pep and came back to build a great team and win tittles, same thing is happening currently with Jose Mourinho who have even be linked with the Manchester United team Abe
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 01, 2024, 11:07:20 PM
Recently we saw many news about Salah and Liverpool. He got injured and he couldn't play for Egypt that's why many Egyptian players and fans were attacking him and they said Salah was not loyal to Egypt because he was not even hardly injured but he didn't play for his national team.
According to the last news, Salah is getting back to good form and he started training in the field.

There is one thing I notice with football fans and that is it they treat this footballers as machines not minding what they feel or how pain they hide. Sallah was actually ruled of the last group game for EGYPT and that was a right call as both Liverpool and the national team doctors confirmed, Liverpool wanted him to come back to the club to continue his Rehab. He did went there for tests but left to be with his mates back in Cote dVoire in hope that if they proceed in the competition and if his injury subsides he will play but didn’t happen. Right isn’t this a patriotic act or they want him to tie his leg and play with those pains to show his parrot act. He might currently be on the field doing some works outside ball just to fasten his rehab.

OnAna is back in goal, and Martinez and yet Manchester United concede 3 goals again in a premier league game, conceded more than goals scored and do not look like a coached team. How long will ten hag get away with awful game play ?

Poor tactics
Not good enough coach and horrible goalkeeping

It’s not looking good at old Trafford

Martinez looked calm today and seriously hard a good game with the balance he add to that defense line, I was angry when he was substituted but later found out the he had problems with his foot, i hope he returns fast. Yes Ten Hag made mistakes with some substitution like that of Rashford going out for Anthony. This game was Rashford best this season and it would. Have been a better option
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 31, 2024, 10:59:38 PM

When the match started and it was a few minutes, I thought it was exciting. But once Liverpool started scoring, I became a bit disappointed because I expected the game to be challenging. I thought both teams would find it hard to score goals. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and I realized my early predictions were wrong, especially when Liverpool seize the midfield against Chelsea.

The interesting part was in the first half, where Chelsea players received about four yellow cards. This indicated that the pressure was getting to them, affecting their performance. As the match is about to end now, Liverpool is leading 4-1. Based on this score, I would say that Chelsea didn't play their best today, and Liverpool performed better.

Seriously even with Chelsea poor performances this season I seriously didn’t predict them losing in this match at such a deficit. Liverpool drew the first leg which was quite a game then and there season kick started then, as for Chelsea they have been in decline since them, this means that Liverpool were in better position to win this game moreover it was at Anfield where even the bravest players actually address as a crazy place.

Chelsea under Pochettino have been very inconsistent, just last week they won the league cup tie against Middlesbrough just to set a final with Liverpool after they defeated Fulham in their own game. I actually was predicting this game to may be a glimpse of what will happen in the final but this doesn’t seems like it.

Liverpool in this game have shown to Manchester City and probably Arsenal that no they are going for the league this season. Manchester City are not to far left behind too as they will definitely battle this till the end of the wire. Probably a tittle winning medal will be the befitting send off Klopp
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At a range of 2years, can a Bitcoin literate invest with a borrowed fund in BTC? on: January 31, 2024, 10:04:20 PM
It is not only bitcoin but borrowed funds actually add to panic in that business you invest it into and thereby leading you to making rash decisions. I personally do not like the idea of Borrowing to invest in asset like bitcoin because of its volatility, so it is a bad idea to me. I see your friend is actually trying to maximize profits by looking for a duration of two years to return the funds which ideally should have bitcoin price higher before then. But I will tell you that it is still a prediction that bitcoin will raise after that years, there is a probability that it wouldn’t increase before your friend pays back the Loan which might lead him to lose.

Take for example last two years there was a heavy bitcoin dump say your friend had take this loan around January 2022 and decides to pay back this year, he would have been in loss now because the price then was above $45k and not that now.

Bitcoin has been advice to be invested in with an amount of we can afford to lose even if it is our money, so borrow funds is way out of the equation except you have a good collateral to fall back to
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: January 31, 2024, 09:42:47 PM
First of all congratulations on your first bitcoin hold, i hope this is amount you can afford to lose and not your entire wages or salary. As that will help you to hold it for long. Looking at this the screen this is a binance wallet which is a centralized exchange and that’s the least of place to safe your coin because the keys doesn’t belong to you. I will advice you look for a reputable bitcoin wallet and in my opinion electrum is that wallet. Create a the new wallet yourself and don’t let your colleague do it for you and then keep the secret phrase safe in an offline place. Then move the coin from this exchange to the wallet. If you do not have basic knowledge of this then you can ask on the forum and you will be guided.

Going forward please do not post screenshots of your holdings as it dampens your privacy. You can also edit your post and remove this one. Also if you’re planning to add more bitcoin to your holdings then you might need to set up a cold storage like purchasing a hardware wallet. You can continuously keep buying bitcoin when you have the fund never wait for any price retracement as that will be a wait too risky if it doesn’t fall back

Here is the link to download an electrum wallet https://electrum.org/#home

They was in a better position before the injury crises faced with during the Premier League Competition against Chelsea. Before the game, they was favorite to win but two to three Injured players out during that fixture caused em the win. NY just that, the double booking during the game too spoiled all of them plans.

They've already made two recent signatures, one from Genoa ( A defender to be precise ) and the other as we all know him all the way from Liepzig ( Timo Werner the former Chelsea lad who won the Champions League with em )
They've got plans to sign up Gallagher bit still not so sure if Chelsea football club would want to sell them best player this very season.
That would be dump way to make your moves.

This game will be an interesting one considering the number of absentees that Tottenham and the fact that they can’t sign any players now. Now to the main discussion of Gallagher moving to Tottenham, he has been up for sale since last season and yet to be ruled but I definitely doubt it will happen this season again because the deadline is here upon us and with his current form i doubt he will be heading any where on deadline day. Also during the summer I don’t think Chelsea needs to offload him because he is one of the leaders in the squad and has stepped up brilliantly to fill that role. Yes Chelsea needs to offload some players to reduce wages and avoid FFP but Gallagher Shouldn’t be on that list.

Even they decide to sell, then it shouldn’t be to a direct rival, we all saw the last time he was at the other side of London (Crystal palace) he nearly torn EPL apart. At Tottenham under Postecoglu I see him been a monster when combine with either Sarr or Bissoma as double pivot
