341  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: February 11, 2016, 09:35:45 PM
You really have to be careful when you encounter a website that takes your money and promise a big turn. These are 100% scams. Buying Bitcoin hardware is legitimate and can generate real Bitcoin if you access to cheap/free electricity. All of these "cloud miners" are scams.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: February 11, 2016, 09:31:23 PM
I would much perfer people sending me money via Bitcoin as opposed to Western Union. WU, PayPal and Visa and MasterCard are afraid of bitcoin and how it could cause those organizations to go bankrupt in a few years. In the future, everything else will be obsolete.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 11, 2016, 09:26:28 PM
There is not tax up here in Canada. I vaguely remember however there being taxes currency in Brazil. I  agree that Bitcoin is money and should not be taxed. I do think however governments should leave the currency alone. The fed is stealing a  lot of money from the working class.
344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get money by posting WITHOUT signature campaigns on: February 10, 2016, 11:07:11 PM
Meh I don't know. i guess this forum has goten so bad that nobody gives a shit anymore. I guess I was too optimistic. People can be quite greedy and stingy on this forum
345  Other / Beginners & Help / Get money by posting WITHOUT signature campaigns on: February 10, 2016, 09:46:11 PM
As many of you are aware, this forum is running rampant with spammers and bot who only post to make money. This creates a burden for everyone else on this forum. Although spam is looked down on, you don't even need a sig campaign to make money here. If your posts are of high quality people my tip you. The members of this board enjoy controversial well thought posts. If English is your mother's tongue you're  most likely to be labelled a scammer. Follow these tips to get paid with tips instead of signature campaign. Here's  how:

  • DO NOT ASK FOR TIPS: this is sure fire way to get a negative trust rating.
  • Tony1 a few years back wrote a comprehensive article dedicated to improving your prose. It would make your posts easier to read and is an can clearly get your points across
  • Write tutorials for this website. This is more of a Bitcoin so sticking to Bitcoin related tutorial topics that are of high quality will eventually get you tipped
  • Engage in controversial threads. Due to the emotion that is being put into the posts, there is a possibility that either someone agrees with you
  • Read a few posts and skim through long topics until you have something clever to say, then make your post. Someone is bound to respond, and usually for me, I completely forget about my signature campaign; too busy debating other members on this forum
[/list
Many people will be less inclined to tip you if a signature campaign, if you post something that is of excellent quality, you may still be tipped. Remember Sig campaign = fewer tips.

I hope this forum will return to  the way it used to be before spammers took over...
346  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: earnsatoshi.co review on: February 10, 2016, 08:02:16 PM
I have not used faucets in a long time. OP should read more of these forums and figure out other ways to make money.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 10, 2016, 04:58:34 PM
can't believe the lengths people will go through to justify loosing their money. Have you ever heard of a casino going bankrupt? It's the idiots who keep dumping their money and leaving; the house always woins, as they say.
348  Other / Meta / Re: My proposal to reduce signature campaign spamming on: February 10, 2016, 02:58:10 AM
So far after reading the replies in this thread, I have come to realize that there is not a lot more we can do to fix the spammer problem. Take away sig campaigns? Heroes go hungry and decent posts who post for the benefit would probably go down.  Blackhatworld imposes a bunch of rules and regulations suck as no links, signatures or offensive language being used (our equivalent being newbies asking for loans). I do like the 75 char minimum. Sometimes it feels like I'm one of the few with a signature campaign and not post nonsense.

I do like the payment and the contribution I am making to this forum.

My 75% char minimum by Yobit is quite good and satisfying to know you get 0.001BTC for posting 5 posts on the forum.

Pay monthly/weekly are not very good though (ou still have to post a certain amount and some will probably end up posting 100 nonsensical messages at the end of the month in order to get payments of more than 0.04BTC for established members!
There are so many problems with signature campaigns it's unbelievable. We can't ban sigs either because legit users need money. This forum is in such a quagmire.
349  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Starting new Project base looking for interested people on: February 10, 2016, 02:41:15 AM
Umm, writing a forum from scratch? Why not just MOD SMF or phpBB?
350  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am open to Bitcoin Projects. on: February 10, 2016, 02:38:11 AM
Your English skills really put me off. Seemed like a good title for one of my websites, but there is no way I will hire you, especially if it imvolves a bunch of people's money. Reminds me of internet scammers from India
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 09, 2016, 04:57:36 PM
The psychological effect of winning the jackpot is big and as pointed out by psychologist BF Skinner. this only reinforces to gamble. Casinos are  very appealing to our reptilian brains.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: February 09, 2016, 04:51:28 PM
To earn big money from gambling we do not need big bankroll. But, good patience and well tested strategies may fetch you huge profits in slow progress over time. I have seen many people are making good profits just from faucet earning.
How many years did they needed ?  Grin
Faucets are fun for a while, but you understand that they are useless.

Even just by writing this message I won more than 100x what faucets offer  Cheesy
Damn, every time I log on to this board people justify throwing their money way. There is no such thing as a professional gambler. The system is set up so you lose. I cant believe the amount of users on this forum justified giving there money away
Loled on this. I rarely heard people making good profits from faucet, maybe they have many referral. that's why he can earn many from faucets. or they gambling on that faucets like doubling their bitcoin.
[/quote]

Don't waste you time wiith faucets, they next to nothing.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 09, 2016, 04:41:28 PM
I actually remember learning about this at university. People gamble and when they win, the frontal lobe produces hormones that are almost like a drug. This is the reason why people gamble. It's not an obsessive behavior. Casino know  this and use it to their advantage.
354  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallet are you using? on: February 09, 2016, 04:35:48 PM
Paper wallet generated with offline application and 2 part priv key for all my hodl needs. As of a hotwallet, I actually use several applications. I have multibit 0.5.19 installed but don't hold any BTC there and only use it when in need of signing a message, Uphold to store BTC as USD, some bitcoins in Xapo for BTC payments and finally I store a small amount of BTC in Bit-X for my debit card.
Well I do have to remark that using different wallets do different things. I never printed a paper wallet before, but sure is s hell of a lot better than leaving your BTC in a hot wallet.
355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: February 09, 2016, 02:33:39 AM
It really intrigues me that there are a lot of spammers asking the same question over and over. You have to WORK or MAKE AN INVESTMENT. Before you start rolling in the Bitcoin. N00bs don't get tjay Bitcoin is not generated bot and money comes in automatically, unless you're rich so then you could buy a hardware miner.

Both are not also good though. Work need skills for that, and Make an Investment also need money for that. if you don't have both, i recommend to join signature campaign. no need skills and you only need to post.
Yes but there's tons of people who spam. Seriously, why don't the unskilled work at McDonalds or something? There's way too many poorly written posts on this forum, and yes English IS a skill.
356  Economy / Services / Re: JOB CONTEST: fix this bot on: February 09, 2016, 12:55:20 AM
More or less this looks like a easy job ,I don't really understand why you have mentioned you need an AI bot and written in C# ? Quite strange. From the problem you've mentioned of iterating through the faucet's and checking if its moneypot or xapo has no connection with AI ,I mean why you want to rely on Heuristics for simple jobs that could be done with few lines of simple code.

P.S. : I would apply for the job, might even complete it but too bored to install Visual Studio.

It has to do with fixing the 400 Bad request that I keep getting when I try to debug the application. It involves using fiddler to sniff packets being sent to the server. I'm a hobbist programmer; I don't start school until May. (I'll be taking computer science). I've PM'd the person who offered to fix it. Since you guys are saying this job is so easy, my fixed price is $3. 20 minutes of coding on your end and you can pay for the subway. Simple job = minimal pay, especially since coders don't get paid much here anyway and you're trying to brag about how easy it is (implying I'm a bad coder).

That's my offer, $3 USD.
lol, you'll surely get tons of applicants
Posted a fixed price as mentioned above.
357  Economy / Services / JOB CONTEST: fix this bot on: February 08, 2016, 09:13:42 PM
I am starting a Bitcoin forum and we are currently looking to hire one programmer to join our team. The forum was just started but the domain my co-admin already owns had a lot of traffic coming to his domain. What we are looking for is a team player who is willing to share their experience with other coders and build a superb botting/programming community. Whoever can get my code working will be awarded the job and will receive one dollar of every subscription sold. for more information, read the contest thread
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binary options on: February 08, 2016, 04:46:43 PM
I had the misfortune of getting a broker repeadly calling me while I'm sleeping promising me money. He was the equivilant of a used car salesman. I've disputed the transaction with VISA.
