Does anyone know of any planned or ongoing legal actions against scrypt.cc, that victims of this can join?
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My apology to Scrypt.cc confirmed no scam, restoring all stolen kh/s on: December 01, 2017, 01:35:43 PM
Scrypt cc is  stealing at the moment they just robbed me Cry  does anyone have any idea what I can do

Nothing you can do but stop visiting the website

Given that people lost millions to this scam, there must be someone or some group proceeding with legal actions, or maybe filing a petition to catch the criminal(s). Similar to HashOcean recent scam: https://cointelegraph.com/news/hashocean-scam-victims-sign-petitions-to-fbi-hackers-to-reveal-more-scams

If anyone knows anything about a "Recover BTC from Scrypt.cc" movement, kindly post here or inbox me, plzzzzz
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Scrypt.cc a scam? +Updates on: December 01, 2017, 01:27:38 PM

PSA: Scrypt.cc is guilty of Fraudulent Misrepresentation, a crime in every financial jurisdiction in the world. Anyone who has lost money buying or selling their fictitious 'KHS'/'MHS' token is legally entitled to recover their funds back in full.

Fraudulent Misreprentation
Under contract law, a plaintiff can recover against a defendant on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation if (1) a representation was made; (2) that was false; (3) that when made, the representation was known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth; (4) that it was made with the intention that the plaintiff rely on it; (5) that the plaintiff did rely on it; and (6) that the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.

Hi. Anyone knows if there is a group I can join, or a list to add my name for attempts to recover lost BTC from this scam?
345  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are there sites like freebitco.in? on: November 29, 2017, 11:20:29 PM
without proof of mining,it's a scam. Even cloud mining is not profitable from years ago.
If you think they run a faucet (it's really economic to setup) I don't think they are able to provide 100 btc of mining equipment.
Personally I will never use also a faucet like this. 100 satoshi * 200 requests = 20.000 sat (around 8.35 days of continue click each hour).
Just to earn an amount so little because you can just pay tx fee (10.000sat) and send 10.000 sat!

Freebitco.in also claims mining. Do they have proof of mining? If not, does it mean it's a scam?

I was just answering OP... (link in my previous post) it's the closest I have come across to freebitco.in and freedoge.co.in.

Oh, and did I mention that apart from no annoying ads and popups it is also a NO CAPCHA Faucet! Without capcha!

Cheers

Is this not working anymore?

Until last night I was mining on 3 devices

48 hashes/s on MacBook, 8 on iPhone and 8 on iPad...

today when the page http://tomostasks.website/index.php?u=D6uFz5Rn3gFoU97ntsfhFfhJn8qsWJ1SUm says hashing speed: 0 Hashes/s

I tried refreshing page, restaring browser and restaring device, still all three devices say 0 hashes/s  Huh

Still haven't managed to get a payment in my faucethub  Undecided

Am I doing something wrong or is the service down?

My Doge addy is: D6uFz5Rn3gFoU97ntsfhFfhJn8qsWJ1SUm

I wish I saw this before investing in yourbitcoinbanker.com

I can confirm that its a 100% scam. I deposited the minimum which was $5.00 or BTC0.00050428 to address 1HsqTtcQkt3wS62LM5oC8ej6MEk1oi6X2T

Here is transaction: https://btc.com/fdcdd39b2c04ddf6958744631c20c4736710115c6a662a5ba9a7e3922bc00350

a day later, my account showed a balance of $0.03 for some reason and it says "No deposits" in Deposit list and in Deposit history...

I submitted a support form to get help. No reply or even acknowledgment of receipt of the message.
348  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] [DOGE] [FAUCETHUB] Highest paying DOGE CPU mining on: November 29, 2017, 02:02:59 AM
It means you must have DOGE address linked to your Faucethub account.

Sorry if its a stupid question, but do you mean it has to be a FaucetHub generated deposit address, or my non-faucethub address linked with my faucethub?

Currently minig on 3 devices with a total of 66Hashes/s on my doge address linked to faucethub (not faucethub generated address) and don't see any results yet...
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Farad ICO - Double Your Investment, Double Your Return Instantly on: November 28, 2017, 11:35:29 PM

FARAD offer their participant to participate in Swap Back program where you can double your investment instantly.

If I understand you correctly, the Swap program allowed participants in the ICO at 0.125 USD/FRD to sell (swap) their FRD back to USD at 0.145 USD/FRD. a profit of 0.02 USD/FRD. And then you could also buy from an exchange at 0.06 USD/FRD, so when you go swap back you would make even more profit.

All this sounds nice and dandy, but what is your point of this thread if the Swap program has ended on October 31st, almost a month before the creation of this thread  Huh

Unless I'm missing something, please close this thread and stop wasting time

hroub   I know the feeling to lose all money on freebitco.in .. I was playing HI-LO and I earned 250k daily easy few days, then one day I playing 3 hours and earned 750k. I was so happy then.. So I decide to withdraw almost whole balance.. Thank God I did that, because next day I lose whole balance , you know why? I got 21 (if I good remember) time in row LOW ... I was  so sad and angry, so I decide not to playing HI-LO game anymore. You will always lose, no matter how much you have on balance.. If I had 1 BTC on balance I will lose all, because they must have some profit. If people don't play HI-LO game ,freebitco.in will be already closed. They living from money we lose on HI-LO.  Wink

Yeah, you're right. It just annoys me that such bad luck can exist  Grin

Someone may have asked this in the past 235 questions, but how on earth is this provably fair Huh Huh Huh

I just lost all the BTC I have been accumulating for the past week  Sad
Provably fair or not we do still end up on losing our money on any gambling games but speaking with legitimacy i would say Freebitco.in is legit although we do always lose but atleast it is fair not rigged.
This site is already operating for quiet no. of years now and i do just love on this one is the free ticket on hitting the lottery but i dont expect too much.

I dont know why it says invalid image, but here is the imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/ZunCS

I know what you're saying, but common! It looks like some bot stepped in and decided to make me lose everything!

As in the screenshot, I had 6 wins in the past 20 rolls with supposedly 47.50% Win chance. But 6/20 is actually 30% not 47.50%.  Angry

Is the 47.50% based on rolls since the creation of the account, or since the login session? Is there any way to reset the win/loss? I mean to start calculating the win chance from a new point rather than from the creation of the account.

I can recommend oscarbit. It is similar to Freebitco.in in that they claim that they also mine bitcoin.
Also, they offer various 30 day cloud mining contracts from 0.0030 to 100 BTC deposits.
CAUTION!!! Beware!!! Although they have payment proofs, I'm not sure whether they have proof of actual mining, and from the 30 day term, it sounds too good to be true, and may very well run with the BTC once they obtain a large amount from investors.
Their faucet pays only 100 satoshi every 60 minutes, but at least (till this point) it has no annoying popups or ads.
Minimum withdrawal is 0.0002 BTC.

If you find this info useful, please use my referal link: https://oscarbit.com/?ref=CEgcpG (I hope it's ok to post link here)

Oh and if you sign up, message me your username and I will send you some more tips and tricks that you will like!  Grin
355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: June 25, 2016, 12:23:54 PM
All I can say about Hashocean is that on October 2nd 2015, I cautiously opened 10 accounts to take advantage of their free 15 KHS bonus, I purchased 20 KHS for 0.02650 BTC on each of the 10 accounts, I made ROI on January 7th, 2016 and have mined a total of 0.06834067 BTC on each of the 10 accounts (current net profit is 0.06834067 BTC - 0.02650 BTC = 0.04184067BTC)

Notice that I only played  small amounts and it was only to see how it plays out. For these small amounts, the investment worked great and the same on all 10 accounts, but there is no guarantee that the same would happen for larger amounts. If its a ponzi, when large amounts are invested, the website may shut down and steal the money...

They are still giving the 15 KHS free and forever for new users also when I opened the 10 accounts, I used my initial account referral link and got an extra 1 KHS from each of my secondary accounts: https://hashocean.com/?rid=215632

so in summary, for my 10 accounts, I invested a total of 0.265 BTC (about $60) on October 2nd, 2015
I broke even on January 7th, 2016 on the 9 secondary accounts
I broke even on December 27th, 2015 on the primary account (with 42 KHS)
Mined a total of 0.0820377 until today on the primary account. A profit of 0.0820377 - 0.0265 = 0.0555377 BTC

Total cost  = 0.265 BTC
Total revenue = 0.615 BTC (from 0 secondary accounts) + 0.0820377 BTC (from primary account) = 0.69710373 BTC
Total Profit = 0.69710373 - 0.265 = 0.43210373 BTC

I am not trying to promote Hashocean or anything. I am just reporting the results of my little hashocean experiment. Although it seems legit, you never know if they suddenly decide to stop paying and take our money away... As always, with things that are not 100% guaranteed to be legit, invest only what you can afford to lose!
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 25, 2016, 12:11:11 PM
Come on Marcelo, you won't and can't bring your loot into hell with you, go ahead and pay like before.
And you thought Marcelo reads this thread from time to time and respond from his site on whatever complaints he reads here? No one is even sure that thsi Marcelo Santos guy is existing. One thing is sure, scrypt.cc is scam and some are still falling for thia kind of scheme because of people keep saying that site is still paying. Stay away from scrypt.cc while you still can.

Site is paying, but doesnt mean its profitable!  Tongue

If you invest your money here, will you get payments? Sure! a few peanuts and pennies compared to what you invested!

Is it profitable  Huh Hell no!!!

So why are people getting payments?  Huh they get a negligible amount compared to the money invested in this site by people and stolen, in order for some people to claim that "it is still paying" and keep the scam alive.

I did get some peanut payments after I lost a lot... Just trying to minimize my losses by recovering as many peanuts as I can  Undecided

Does anyone have some kind of guide or tips to help us victims efficiently withdraw our bitcoins?

I understand the current maximum is 0.004 BTC Is there a maximum number of successful withdrawals we can make at a time?

Thanks for the info.

I mean useful info please.

Can I make like 50 0.004 BTC withdrawals all at once? if I do more than a certain number, would they get lost?
