341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 22, 2023, 11:08:50 PM
Online gambling platforms exists not only to get you some lucky wins, it's also another form of entertainment,  but I will like to ask if truly you people are getting that entertainment from gambling?

Obviously yes, much especially when winning. When losing? Still entertained but taking a break of course. If we feel not entertained anymore to gamble, don't force ourselves to do it for the sake of hoping and expecting good money in return. There is no technical connection on these but if a gambler is not happy on doing gambling and just hoping to big money in return, mostly they end up losing at the end.

We can see what the world is becoming now, things are getting harder and what's on peoples mind is how to make even more money, there is no time, there are too many responsibilities,  are you sure you getting entertained?

Please help yourself, mate. Gambling has nothing to do with that. Focus on your responsibilities and don't mind gambling for now if you are having a hard time coping with your situation. Don't add another problem to the current problem for God's sake.

I believe that most people end up messing themselves up with gambling because to them everything is money, money, money, and this can stop your brain from becoming a responsible gambler, the sense of protecting yourself from gambling addiction can get lost if you are already not having fun with gambling anymore.

That's the gambling trap and only gamblers can help themselves. Gambling should not be blamed but the gamblers themselves.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 22, 2023, 10:55:38 PM
I recently received multiple PM on my Telegram account that offers profit sharing for placing bets on their behalf. They probably see my thread Betting significant amount and assume I'm a whale gambler(FYI I'm not whale gambler). They are offering a huge money to bet on your account then they will give you a commission. Sounds interesting right?

I don't know what would be the advantage if they do that. That's probably not because of the profit sharing or commission. Whether it's a crypto-gambling account or an online casino that deals with fiat currency, there's no way they can withdraw the winnings since it needs approval first and should be authenticated and recognized by us. Maybe be good for reference for newbies out there if we were able to share those Telegram accounts and the message structure so that these newbies will be familiarized with how these strangers construct their offer message.

Whatever the reason is, it's always a good practice not to share our own and personal accounts to anyone.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 21, 2023, 11:58:41 PM
I'm always doing this whenever I'm down after long gambling session just to finish with a big bang of surprise. When I lose at least I experience the thrill same with win since I have profit.

Are you doing this intense gambling experience by betting significant amount of your bankroll? This is insane but worth it if you are a thrill seeker for entertainment.

The feeling is mutual. I do that hoping to change the losing streak scene and environment while gambling for long hours. Sometimes the result is good, sometimes it's bad. We are gambling after all and just taking risks since we are losing in the first place at that particular time.

Doing gambling for long, then still the starting bankroll is not moving at all and worst, still in negative, I'd rather take the risks of betting all those left, around 25% to 30% of the bankroll. If we nailed it, that will change the feeling and will start again being hype to continue.

The only problem is, when I do win after that risky action, it fuels me to gamble more and will not take a break lol. Cheesy
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 21, 2023, 11:49:29 PM
Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

I do gamble in front of my kids but nothing worse happened, good thing.

If they do understand what gambling is, even without them seeing us doing gambling, they will do gambling no matter what. It's even more confusing to them if we hide our gambling activity from them since that will make them think about why we hide it.

Gambling is almost everywhere. They can see it anywhere even just by watching Youtube and browsing websites.

What to do is to just guide them along the way. If we hide gambling to them, they will start to find out by themselves which is far more risky.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 21, 2023, 10:41:31 PM
It really happens most of the time when gamblers are being caught up violating the Terms and Service.

But on the other hand, there are also lots of users that even they don't read the Terms, they just being them and play smoothly at that site. Who to blame now? Sometimes there's really a situation where gamblers tried to cheat the site. On the other hand, if the site is accused by gamblers, as long as the site able to defend themselves, then no problem at all.

As a gambler, it's really not mandatory to read the entire Terms and Conditions but from now on, we should focus on these:

- terms about KYC
- terms about using VPN
- terms about bonuses and promotions
346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin price tracker website on: September 21, 2023, 10:31:22 PM
Hi everyone

Please can you recommend a coin tracker website that has all the different prices of bitcoin across all cex exchanges from all over the world.

Thank you

You can also try this: https://bitcoinwisdom.io/

Not all Centralized exchanges were listed there but those top exchanges are there. I doubt you really want to check the entire CEX for that.

Just browse the site and it's not just for coin tracking purposes but rather there are other useful tools there and if you are a trader you can use the indicators and tools there too as part of doing analysis and future strategies.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 17, 2023, 11:50:27 PM
Casimero is a disciplined boxer. If not, he won't achieve being a dominant boxer. The problem is his attitude and being cocky. His weight problem is not because he's not disciplined but rather his body is just naturally growing and not fit anymore and capable of fighting at 118.

But let's talk about Tapales for now as this is his thread lol. Tapales is also a disciplined boxer and one of the best achievements he has currently is upsetting the previous champion in the 122 lbs division Murodjon Akhmadaliev. But in that fight, he seemed showing struggle too although in the end, he got the win.

Since we speak about being a disciplined boxer, Naoya Inoue tops these 2 PH boxers mentioned. He's so disciplined at everything that's why he reaches the status of being called a monster. Quickness, speed, agility, strength, boxing IQ - all of these traits are all on Inoue that's why he is hard to beat toe-to-toe. No offense to PH boxing fans but Inoue does have the advantages if he faces either Casimero or Tapales.

This is a very good observation.  The stated information is also the reason why I think Tapales won't stand a chance against Inoue.  Tapales just got lucky in winning those two belts and I believe his fight against Akhmadaliev is still controversial and may go either way.

I can't say that Tapales is underrated when compared to Inoue. I have watched the performance of Tapales and they are not that explosive as Inoue.  There is a huge difference between the ability of these two fighters and Inoue without any hesitation is the better of the two so it would really surprise me if Tapales will come out victorious in their upcoming fight.

Reality speaking that was true and PH boxing fans should accept that.

If Marlon Tapales able to upset Akhmadaliev, I don't see how he can repeat that against Naoya Inoue who is far more dangerous than Akhmadaliev and just recently beat out the other champion at the 122 lbs division, Stephen Fulton who is thought better as a boxer compare to Akhmadaliev.

Tapales being a title holder is a good achievement now but unfortunately, he's at the same time as the prime Inoue. I want Tapales to win I admit that, but I truly recognize how strong Inoue is. I don't see Inoue do have a better match here at 122. Maybe Casimero but it's like it will take more years to come before we see that happened and Casimero is now reaching his Father time.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 17, 2023, 11:43:25 PM
The reason why I am here is to know if free spins are like demo too, I asked this because two of my friend including myself open account of a online casino and after using all the free spins we got the same result, around $15, I am curious why, because it looks like a matched up way to keep people hoping for more.

Programmed or not, it gives you some build-up and interest to try the site since having free $15 is not a joke. However you have to wager it and fulfill the requirements before you can withdraw anything from it. Just take is a welcome bonus for registering on their site.

And we know that you have to deposit for wagering because that bonus really become yours, is free spin just another demo like free bonus? That's what I want to know, what is your own experiences like with free spins.

Not in most cases that those free spins do need deposit.

What you have to do is to read the requirements if those free spins winning does need to have a deposit first. If you are lucky, you can withdraw those winnings without deposit although expect that wagering requirement is damn hard like x25 x35 or even x50 but as long as the maximum withdrawal is good, it's worth to give an effort.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 17, 2023, 11:29:54 PM
Correct me on this one guys, he's still not sure if he's going to be given a contract right? Or it's already sure that he's going to get a contract from the SMB management whether he's just on the bench, a practice guy, or will be given a playing time?
I can't wait to see him play on the actual court of PBA. I've seen how this guy excel coming from his phenomenal dayo series up to working hard to MPBL and now to PBA.

He's already drafted by the SMB therefore and obviously he will give a live contract, an official contract being a professional PBA player playing at the SMB. It's really good as a rookie to be drafted by one of the giants in the PBA as even though there's a rookie cap, once he shown good performance right away, there's another reward under the table.

Not expecting too much from him since what he did in his Pheno days will be hard to do at the PBA.

There are lots of good prospects showing dominance during their days prior PBA but when ended up being drafted in the biggest league in the country, their performance slow down. Not saying Kyt will be like that but I hope he will be utilized in the SMB as being a rookie here doesn't given good minutes not unless he's something special.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 17, 2023, 11:08:23 PM
What are the features in your favorite casinos that you like that makes you keep going back and what are the features that you don't like at your favorite casino but you overlook them and still play there?

Is this something we really have in mind in reality? I'm just going in with the flow. If I want to play on a gambling site regardless of the bonuses, promotions, and features, I will play there. If I keep going back to a gambling site no matter what, the only reason is, that I have a good chance of winning there compared to those.

I don't know what's the Math or Science behind this but in my own experience, I have a gambling site that I always win even the slots I'm referring are just the same. But to make this short, I don't have a specific feature or what as reason why I keep playing on my favorite gambling site.

It's not also the feature, but the security and how good customer support is, are my factors on staying on a gambling site.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 17, 2023, 10:53:57 PM
but in any case there is a chance for casimero to fight inoue, i am on the side that bookies will favour inoue when it comes to odds. casimero i believe has problem with discipline. so i also doubt if such match will ever happen
casimero's fans are aiming this match long time ago, however, casimero is doing something that is not leading to this match. so this is not a loss from inoue but casimero's.

Casimero is a disciplined boxer. If not, he won't achieve being a dominant boxer. The problem is his attitude and being cocky. His weight problem is not because he's not disciplined but rather his body is just naturally growing and not fit anymore and capable of fighting at 118.

352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what are the reputable casino with vault feature? on: September 16, 2023, 11:58:44 PM
I know only Stake.com has the vault feature but I'm not really using it since what for?

It's better to have that feature for those who want to store their crypto in the meantime and don't want to make another deposit just in case they want to play again. It might be safe but for me, instead of vault, I will cashout my profit directly to my wallet. It's not that I don't trust the platform but shit happened and I don't to store coins in a centralized platform.

As the famous crypto quote says, "not your keys, not your coins."
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 16, 2023, 11:48:57 PM
In my country there are no casinos operating because it is an illegal activity. However, many online gambling sites operate and have many users from our country. So, even though I often play on online gambling sites, I have absolutely no experience playing gambling in real casinos. I often watch YouTube about gambling in real casinos, especially about slot machines. I noticed that in real casinos, slot games do not have a buy free spins feature

Do you have experience playing at real casinos and online gambling sites? Is there a difference playing there? I want to know.

I doubt you will really understand the difference just by reading our comments here. You really need to do it personally but unfortunately, as you said, physical casinos are not much present there before legality issues. Therefore, no choice but to only play online casinos.

To just give a preview of what will be the experience, it depends on how big the physical casinos are. I don't have experience entering big physical casinos but already have experience in mid-tier physical casinos and it's really fun especially if you are going out with your friends. Entertainment indeed.

Of course, you won't see the free spins feature on physical machines. That feature is mostly on online casinos since that's one way of attracting users alongside other promotions and bonuses or anything that users might lure to use the gambling site.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 16, 2023, 11:40:38 PM
With gambling we don't know when we'll loss control. If we're on the winning streak we'll have the patience to think and we'll place the bets. When we're on the losing streak the mind always thinks about recovering the loss. By this time we should've got the control to take a break, but most of us get triggered and multiply the bet value. This at times recover the lost fund and most of the time loss used to be the end result. Having limit on spending unlike win/loss used to be the best way to control ourselves.

Disagree with the first part of your statement. The reality in gambling is not like that.

It's not just when losing but didn't you know that when winning, it's more giving a gambler to bet more since why the hell they should stop if they are winning? You think that when winning, gamblers have patience but in reality, they are falling more on the spell just to continue to gamble no matter what since they are lucky that time. I admit that when I'm winning, it's hard to stop.

It's hard to follow when we put a limit. When winning, we won't think of stopping completely or taking a break. When losing, we still don't want to stop because we want to chase our losses. Where we will end up now? It's really on us where to stop regardless when winning or losing.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: September 16, 2023, 11:30:03 PM
Being an influencer sounds easy, but I have had the impression it is harder than we all assume.

They are not directly protected by labors laws or their government, they need to adjust their content and accounts to the Terms of Service of the platform they use to create their videos or shorts. Otherwise, they take the risk of losing their main source of profit...

Sure, they can make a lot and that is why they take advantage of how many sponsorships they can get, because one never knows when the momentum could end.  For them, the most important thing for their careers is to remain popular and revelant, hence why so many engage in reprehensible behaviors and actions.

This is correct. Popular influences, streamers, and personalities, have a hard time reaching what they are now. It involves spending big money, insane efforts, several attempts at doing content, and lots of hard work just to become popular and well-known.

That hard work will pay off once they now reached being a popular streamer and getting referrals might now be easy on them. They can just post their referral link and associate it with a promo sponsored by them and that's they where get more referrals.

But it doesn't need to be prioritized since their main income will come from the number of viewers. Referral bonuses on the other hand can not just be achieved just by users having signed up on the referral link. Sometimes, it needs a deposit from users.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 16, 2023, 11:19:40 PM
How would one do so efficiently? I am very interested.

We can only know how efficient it is once we make an actual test. Familiar with such programs having an integration of AI specifically on day trading? It might be a risk though as day trading market behavior is unpredictable and even for a few seconds, expect a big chance in the trend.

Anyways, what's your reason behind the interest in using it? Want a passive income while just sitting and relaxing on your desk?

Trading should be handled and managed hands-on. If you will just depend on AI, I think that's more risky.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 11:08:27 PM
Sometimes we imagine some mystery of life as we are still living, have you asked yourself of your cryptocurrency investment profit and lost way about if you live by ghost, again have you asked the mystery that behind your investment when it occurs to be profiting, right now I'm thinking to myself and my investment and if only investment I have is bitcoin and when I'm no more who will manage my bitcoin investment and how will my family know about my bitcoin investment. I was ill for some days and I asked myself a two questions base on my only investment bitcoin, the questions are.

1) since I'm ill should I show my family my seed phrase
2) if I die who will take over my bitcoin since nobody in my family knows my seed phrase.

So I was asking myself different questions because I have no wife and no child, then I began to think and be questioning myself if it will be good to at least tell one person in my family my seed phrase or should I keep having the perso secret of my seed phrase personal or should I keep my bitcoin document on my wardrobe were they can easily see my seed phrase, that time I was of full of thinking, thank God  I recover fully from the illness before i return to forum...no sympathy

Only you can answer that question. None of us can help you here. Maybe our responses will give you even more headaches on what to do. How come you didn't know the best and right approach in that situation where I know, you are not new to crypto anymore?

You know your family, relatives, and trusted friends better than we are. It's not even a problem to consider.

Or maybe ask the question for yourselves first, do you really want your Bitcoin to be taken over by someone in the first place?
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 16, 2023, 10:59:50 PM
Keep it in mind : any licensed casino will ask you to verify your identity, regardless of the amount you are trying to withdraw. Even unlicensed casinos may ask the same. It's more to do about being centralized than about being licensed.

I have to disagree with you. There are still crypto-casinos where you can freely withdraw without having KYC.

If you talk about online fiat casinos, I might agree with you that regardless of the amount., KYC matters but not to the the point where we will have to submit IDs. I both played crypto-casinos and fiat online casinos. There are still crypto-casinos that allow withdrawals even without KYC. As for online fiat casinos, KYC should be complied with before withdrawal but a simple name, address, etc. is already enough without the need to submit personal documents.

That was based on my personal experience and 100% sure about it.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: September 14, 2023, 11:58:34 PM
We can't call that totally a mistake as no one would know the result later on. Sometimes that mistake might be the best decision we have. We won't determine what will be the result at the end. For example, in sports betting, let's say we truly believe that we can hit a certain prediction of ours and might take home a big profit in return. But since it's risky, we have end up undecided on what to do. More risks - more cost and in the end, we choose not to take the risk. The final result isn't the one on our prediction therefore we just did a right job here.

What if, our prediction happened instead and we didn't able to place a bet? Just charge it from experience and move on.

We don't want to put too much technicality on our sports betting activity. That's a distraction. We can bounce back the next time we bet.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 11:47:05 PM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...

In what situation can we consider a global economy collapse?

- during a World War as in most countries are participants?
- during a Cold War between major countries?
- during a pandemic like the one that happened a few years ago when almost all industries were down.

Bitcoin might have been the best thing we had during that time but believe me, I'd rather not have lots of BTC on hand if in return I had to experience those listed disasters. Inflation sucks but it's not that, we are facing a total nightmare dealing with only fiat.
