Nevertheless, a Inoue vs Nery is also a good option, but I don't know, I read that Nery can't fight in Japan.

That's the problem: he is the top contender, but due to that, he won't be able to challenge Inoue if the fight is held in Japan. Based on what has happened in the past, most of Inoue's championship fights are held in Japan. So, I'm not sure if it's possible for Nery to become a mandatory challenger. I think it would be best if Casimero vs. Nery were to happen, and then the winner would become a mandatory opponent for Inoue.

If Casimero wins, it will help him achieve his dream of fighting Inoue. If Inoue can still defend his title, there's no doubt he will gain the respect of some Filipino fans, as some are currently thinking that Inoue is afraid to face Casimero.

I don't think it should work that way. If the organization makes it a mandatory fight for the champion, they need to recognize that Nery is banned in Japan. Therefore, they should choose a location where both fighters can compete freely. I believe there are no rules stating that the champion should dictate where the fight should take place. It's a mandatory fight, which means the fight must happen.

Yes, you are right. If the organization will ask for it then both camps will need to comply,
Inoue's camp might have the edge to look or demand for the place.

Knowing how big the influence of Arum, he will see the possibilities, or maybe Inoue will jump again to another division to
avoid fighting outside his country.

Though still soon for this as there's still upcoming fight and there's no deal that will demand for this potential fight.

Well, promoters surely know what would be the best things to do on that part. These guys have been in the business for a long and they already face several problems before making it somehow "easy" for them to organize a fight even if there are flaws as long as the "price is right".

You are correct that a champion can't dictate where the fight should take place that's why specifically for all of Inoue's fights, I don't know why others hate him for not getting out of his comfort zone where in the end, it's on the promotional side why the venue is always in Japan on most of the "The Monster's" fight.

Again, if someone wants to pulverize Inoue, the venue shouldn't be a big deal. It's even more thrilling to beat Inoue in front of his countrymen.

Good point, we can use Casimero as an example. If you still remember, he was stripped of his belt in the bantamweight division when he got disqualified for violating the rules. He was the champion at that time, but he was the one who went to Butler's country, who was the mandatory challenger. So, a similar situation could also occur in the Inoue vs. Nery fight, where the fight may not be scheduled in Japan due to Nery being banned in that country.

It all depends on the negotiations, maybe Casimero will travel to England but he will get the most money on the purse split. But as far as Nery to fight Inoue, it's easy, then they need to go to a neutral country like USA wherein fans are waiting for Inoue as they want to see him fight again.

So it's going to be on the promoter shoulder on how they are going to manage expectations if ever Nery become the mandatory fighter on any belt that Inoue has. And if they settle then good for us fans.

Obviously, Inoue will receive the bigger split as he is the champion and, not only that, he is the more popular fighter. I'm sure Nery's camp would not disagree with that because if they truly want to rise to the top, they need to defeat Inoue, who currently appears unbeatable. This fight could be arranged if both parties are willing, and being banned in Japan isn't a significant issue, as there are other countries willing to host them.

And as long as Inoue is willing to fight him, but perhaps him being a Japanese, will have to follow what the Japanese boxing committee has ruled, that Nery uses a ban substance and this is a form of cheating.

Perhaps Inoue might no longer trust his opponent because of this and might not fight him, this is just my speculation only. So I wouldn't be surprised that there will be no fight for Nery here, unfortunately, but we will see what will be the decision of Inoue's camp.

I don't know why people are still talking about Nery fight against Inoue because of the many opportunities that exist Casimero is the one who has the biggest chance to challenge Inoue and fight for the title that he has held for several years.
If the upcoming fight between Inoue and Casimero is truly presented it will be of particular interest to all boxing fans even to bettors who spend their money on the fight and the division can definitely be agreed more easily because Casimero is not really looking for money but it more of a title fight that he wants.

But let see who is worthy and entitled to challenge Inoue the champion with the nickname monster and what we really hope is that Casimero can face Inoue.

Not several years, Naoya Inoue just became a 2-belt champion at 122 this year and Steph Fulton was his first opponent on his debut at the mentioned weight class. We can remember that Bob Arum was quite scared about the idea of challenging the champion directly instead of testing the water first but he trusted Inoue's guts that he can still make a difference in this weight class, and indeed, Inoue made it happen.

As for the speculations for the Casimero-Inoue fight, I know what you mean because I'm also hoping for the same thing but at this rate, we cannot really say that Inoue will take his time to fight Casimero because he also got his own goals.

Yeah, it's really a big test for Inoue to jump to super bantamweight and challenge it's best champion in Stephen Fulton. It's a big risk, big reward for them, but in the end the reward was for Inoue to get Fulton's 2 belt and now gunning for the last 2 and unified it against Marlon Tapales. Which we can say it is much easier than the Fulton fight.

As for the speculations for the Casimero-Inoue fight, I know what you mean because I'm also hoping for the same thing but at this rate, we cannot really say that Inoue will take his time to fight Casimero because he also got his own goals.

We have been wanting to see this fight, Casimero-Inoue, but I guess it's better at 118 lbs for me as the chances of Casimero might still be good. But as this point of Inoue's career and his prime, I doubt that even the hard hitting Casimero can defeat Inoue.

but in any case there is a chance for casimero to fight inoue, i am on the side that bookies will favour inoue when it comes to odds. casimero i believe has problem with discipline. so i also doubt if such match will ever happen
casimero's fans are aiming this match long time ago, however, casimero is doing something that is not leading to this match. so this is not a loss from inoue but casimero's.

I'm sure Nery's camp would not disagree with that because if they truly want to rise to the top, they need to defeat Inoue, who currently appears unbeatable. This fight could be arranged if both parties are willing, and being banned in Japan isn't a significant issue, as there are other countries willing to host them.

But let see who is worthy and entitled to challenge Inoue the champion with the nickname monster and what we really hope is that Casimero can face Inoue.

but in any case there is a chance for casimero to fight inoue, i am on the side that bookies will favour inoue when it comes to odds. casimero i believe has problem with discipline. so i also doubt if such match will ever happen
casimero's fans are aiming this match long time ago, however, casimero is doing something that is not leading to this match. so this is not a loss from inoue but casimero's.

No doubt that Inoue will earn the favorite, as per records. Inoue is the current champ and the way Inoue finished the fight
that's something that value how bookies will place the odd if the fight takes place.

I agree on the part where Casimero has an issue with discipline, and that characteristic is very important when it comes to this sport.

Without proper discipline even you have the chance there's always a good edge with your opponent to take you
from where you are not being prepared.

Casimero is a disciplined boxer. If not, he won't achieve being a dominant boxer. The problem is his attitude and being cocky. His weight problem is not because he's not disciplined but rather his body is just naturally growing and not fit anymore and capable of fighting at 118.

But let's talk about Tapales for now as this is his thread lol. Tapales is also a disciplined boxer and one of the best achievements he has currently is upsetting the previous champion in the 122 lbs division Murodjon Akhmadaliev. But in that fight, he seemed showing struggle too although in the end, he got the win.

Since we speak about being a disciplined boxer, Naoya Inoue tops these 2 PH boxers mentioned. He's so disciplined at everything that's why he reaches the status of being called a monster. Quickness, speed, agility, strength, boxing IQ - all of these traits are all on Inoue that's why he is hard to beat toe-to-toe. No offense to PH boxing fans but Inoue does have the advantages if he faces either Casimero or Tapales.

This is a very good observation.  The stated information is also the reason why I think Tapales won't stand a chance against Inoue.  Tapales just got lucky in winning those two belts and I believe his fight against Akhmadaliev is still controversial and may go either way.

I can't say that Tapales is underrated when compared to Inoue. I have watched the performance of Tapales and they are not that explosive as Inoue.  There is a huge difference between the ability of these two fighters and Inoue without any hesitation is the better of the two so it would really surprise me if Tapales will come out victorious in their upcoming fight.

Reality speaking that was true and PH boxing fans should accept that.

If Marlon Tapales able to upset Akhmadaliev, I don't see how he can repeat that against Naoya Inoue who is far more dangerous than Akhmadaliev and just recently beat out the other champion at the 122 lbs division, Stephen Fulton who is thought better as a boxer compare to Akhmadaliev.

Tapales being a title holder is a good achievement now but unfortunately, he's at the same time as the prime Inoue. I want Tapales to win I admit that, but I truly recognize how strong Inoue is. I don't see Inoue do have a better match here at 122. Maybe Casimero but it's like it will take more years to come before we see that happened and Casimero is now reaching his Father time.

We always love to see upset happen, just like when he beat Akhmadaliev, it was one of the biggest upset that we have. But as you have said, it's very different if you are going to face the monster Naoya Inoue.

He is very much in his prime years, very fast, strong, good chin and have the discipline that's why he became a unified champion in bantamweight and I cant' recall who is the last man who did it in that division. So Tapales really have a big plate in front of him, and as much as we like to see him win, let's admit it, he can't pull a Akhmadaliev here.

Yes, Inoue is far different but we never know till we see them both fighting inside the ring, maybe another luck will happen for Tapales.

Or it will be all the way for Inoue, as we know him each time he fought. He is always on the safe side and always
analysing his opponents before dealing on it and make his move, he understands well when he already
taste his opponent's punches, then he will start from there.

As you said, it's just pure luck for Tapales to win this fight because of his lack of experience and skills when fighting such kind of fighter and the thing is, even some of his fellow countrymen don't even believe he could win the fight, that's the worse scenario he could ever have fighting Inoue. But he can use it as fuel and motivation in order to train intensely and surpass all of their speculations and expectations.

He cannot rely on luck twice. If he thinks luck is what he needs to win against Inoue, then that's a mistaken belief. Inoue is a different fighter, perhaps not on the same level as Tapales. However, I'm not saying Tapales has no chance of beating Inoue, but let's be realistic here. I'm sure everyone would agree that Tapales has a very slim chance of winning.

That can clearly happen and has been made possible by Inoue because he is boxer who has quite good endurance and currently he has a record that is quite epic so that some fighters might be hesitant about challenging Inoue to fight for his belt.

If Casimero wins the fight he tomorrow is indeed worthy to challenge Inoue but if Inoue who as a champion who holds several belts, refuses the challenge from Casimero there will be many rumors circulating saying that Inoue is afraid of Casimero taking his belt.
Both of them are boxers with quite a lot of wins and have even managed to become one of the best boxers for the WBA and WBC in their respective classes.
The world will really be waiting for confirmation about their meeting in the octagon.

This opportunity clearly exists and we just have to wait for the time to come because Casimero is really confident and can't wait to challenge Inoue and Casimero confidence is also influenced by his readiness to increase his weight to be able to meet Inoue in his class.
In fact Casimero had harbored the desire to fight Inoue for a long time, but Inoue actually moved up in class first before Casimero gave his challenge.

The bookies do whatever can make them make more money and the Inoue vs Casimero fight can give the bookies what they want, after all Casimero is not as bad as you say.

Casimero confidence is also influenced by his readiness to increase his weight to be able to meet Inoue in his class.

Casimero doesn't need to increase his weight to face Inoue because they are currently in the same division.

You can check the list of boxers and their respective rankings; the boxers we are discussing belong to the super bantamweight division.

Indeed, if we follow the journeys of both boxers, we won't be misled. Anyway, I just watched a YouTube video regarding three boxers who sparred against Inoue. Two of them are Japanese, both of whom Casimero has already beaten, and one is Filipino. All of them believe that Casimero has a good chance of defeating Inoue. They mentioned that Casimero may appear slow, but that's part of his strategy because he is very accurate and has excellent timing. They also believe that Casimero's power punches are more dangerous than Inoue's. Actually, I'm quite convinced, and I also think it's one of the reasons why Inoue hasn't fought Casimero until now.
