Any idea what had happened to the block explorer? Is there any working one?

Some notes regarding successful rebuilding local blockchain using bootstrap file: - before starting, remove everything from 8bit directory excluding wallet.dat, 8bit.conf, bootstrap.dat
- set maxconnection to 0 (maxconnections=0) to make sure you don't use peers as blocks source, set if back to the desired value after successful resync
- if you close your wallet before finishing resync and bootstrap.dat will be renamed to bootstrap.dat.old, rename it back to bootstrap.dat. Start your wallet, it will quickly (very quickly) scan already imported blocks and continue from the block on which you have closed your wallet

Ok, so you are butthurt. And that's why you are crying. Now everything is clear for everyone I guess.
Sometimes investing means risk, sometime investing takes patience...
So you call investor requesting focusing on product, real schedule and meeting deadlines - a butthurt. Awesome. I don't think you have shown you own mtr at all. Why not show us you have mtr to buy? Anyone can clearly see mt777 and his team have been focusing on the product for more than a year. His team doesn't owe you any price pump deadlines, get over yourself. You sound like a kid that spent his lunch money on pot and is now sitting in the corner hoping someone gives you their scraps looking high as hell. How much MTRs do you have?

The levels of idiocy here are simply amazing. Mirror, mirror...
Yeah, Rich Territo is really mad: any news with bittrex? i got coin there i want out!!
arb you can arb this coin how?
You can still sell them. You just can send or receive. If you want out just put in a sell order. No worries....This crypto game is tough. Not for the light hearted....I wish you well.... I guess he doesn't want out, he just wants to send his coins "out" of Bittrex . There are so many flavours of English If I understood correctly, Bittrex is in process of resyncing, and wallet should be working soon (maybe in a week or so though, due to slow resync). Would be nice to get confirmation from Richie though... I think I read that wrong. My bad......The resync does take some time, but I leave my computers running most of the time, so leaving it up for a week doesnt really change things with me. We have been and still resyncing... couple days left given the current speed ;( thanks richie@bittrex just delist this crap richie.

Dude. What's the point of u and 8-bit spending this much time and effort just to trashtalking this thread? Try to find a life or at least a job. When you apply, do not tell them about this pathetic behaviour. You and 8-bit have been writing almost a full bible of comments in a thread of a coin with less then 5k market cap...
It might be really difficult to understand... I AM INVESTOR AND I DON'T SEE ANY PROGRESS, INSTEAD I SEE FOLLOWING DEV ACTIVITY: - slow dumping his coins (slow because of empty orderbook)
- no deadlines or missed deadlines (never reached actually)
- lies
- personal attacks
- pulling the wool over community eyes
After this I assume we will not hear from you 2 guys again...
Just buy-back my coins at prices I bought them and you will. Otherwise I have no idea how to protect my investment. At this moment my loss is over 90%. Thank you Rich Territo.

my walets got stuck at 2 week behind block 410386 any ideas latest version took nealy a week to get to this point :-(
I doesn't make sense to sync it further, as you don't know whether you are on the right chain or not. The best solution for you would be to use the bootstrap.dat from this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028119.msg14253568#msg14253568If you don't know how to use it, look few posts back in this thread, its posted there! And prepare an extra week for this resync. haha, shit dev can't fix his shit coin? shit dev. shit persona cant think of anything productive to do. do 1 maybe the same could be said for your shit dev spamming another dev while he lets this coin and his supporters get but hurt when their coin actually fails. Rich Territo alias MasterTrader777 alias Acidyo went postal

*** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE ***UPDATE *** UPDATE *** I am very sorry, but the link to the fresh bootstrap.dat I have provided was wrong! SHA-224 checksum was correct, links was wrong. Please close your wallet and restart loading bootstrap.dat with the correct file (correct one has 7z extension, old, outdated one has bz2 extension): http://www.8-bit.party/static/bootstrap.dat.7z?2016-03-19--00Sorry for the inconvenience!

I saw no no correlation between version and being on correct chain at a glance. Re-checking now.
Also this is not a final solution, this is kind of soft landing after some minor (accidentally made major - because of importance of affected nodes) storm.
Next step will be more painful and everyone will be required to upgrade and do extra actions. TBA FTW

Although at this moment I have 46 peers, 45 on the right chain and one on the fork, for those (that one user?) having to start with a bootstrap here's a nice tutorial: https://litecoin.info/Bootstrap.dat

If I am on the right chain should i shut down and update the nodes? I'm on 430023 so my guess is that im on the right chain.
Absolutely no. You are on the right chain (like most of users actually). Don't do anything.

*** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE ***Regarding our latest fork issues today I have finished resyncing my nodes to the right (=longest) chain so I can provide a solution. First of all most of the nodes in the network are on the right chain. Unfortunately, key nodes like block explorer was not and Bittrex is not. Now block explorer is showing correct chain. Here we go with the solution. First of all check if you are not the right chain. Go to http://explorer.8-bit.party and compare Block number with a block number in your client. It should be a number higher than 429966 (2016-03-19 13:30:40 UTC, I will update this value in next posts). If it's so, you are on the right chain and there's nothing to do on your side. Everything is fine. If your block height is lower and you running synced node you are on the wrong chain and you have to perform following actions: - Go to http://www.8-bit.party, click on Download and get the bootstrap file (direct link: http://www.8-bit.party/static/bootstrap.dat.7z?2016-03-19--00) [sha224 bootstrap.dat.7z: 3ee34f26c69aed8737c71c10c48aecf8e1f8f7e9ae9e2a3ec311c62c]
- Shut down your node. Make sure it's really off (use ps or task manager)
- Make sure that your node is off again
- Backup your wallet.dat. Always backup your wallet.dat, no matter what you do
- Remove peers.dat file. Add
addnode=node00.8-bit.party addnode=node01.8-bit.party addnode=node02.8-bit.party addnode=node03.8-bit.party addnode=node04.8-bit.party addnode=node05.8-bit.party addnode=node06.8-bit.party addnode=node07.8-bit.party addnode=node08.8-bit.party addnode=node09.8-bit.party
If you use IPv6 you add also: addnode=6node00.8-bit.party addnode=6node01.8-bit.party addnode=6node02.8-bit.party addnode=6node03.8-bit.party
- Unzip bootstrap.dat.7z to a bootstrap.dat file in your 8bit home directory (~/.8bit/bootstrap.dat on linux, AppData\Roaming\8Bit on Windows)
- Run your wallet with -rescan flag and wait. Be patient, it can take serveral hours to load a new blockchain.
- Enjoy a correct chain on your node
If you are not sure whether you are on the right chain or not - just ask, there are other, more accurate ways to check it (eg comparing block hash with these shown by the block explorer).
