I might have found a bug. Not sure,  though, and it might have been fixed and I never noticed...

CGMiner 2.6.4
Windows 7 x64
Catalyst 11.5

Crashes on start when both voltage is set and debug mode is enabled. I haven't looked into it further.

347  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Don't laugh- One Nvidia card looking to get burnt up. on: November 12, 2012, 05:40:52 AM
Hmm. Bitcoin mining is moving away from GPUs with the promise of ASIC technology soon.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone really think Terracoin is a threat to Litecoin on: November 12, 2012, 12:12:20 AM
Not so simple. the hardware must be re-engineered to accommodate fast memory bandwidth. Scrypt is more memory intensive than SHA-256 and needs more speed.

Or so I hear.

Litecoin will remain a refuge for the GPU miners and FPGA miners
FPGAs are doing Littecoin now? Hmm, I think you got that one wrong, if I'm not mistaken.

356  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 1600BTC loan + 20% interest over 6 months. on: November 09, 2012, 08:52:30 AM
This whole forum is full of scammers. You are not exempt from scrutiny. I can see you pumping your post count up to 2000 and then running away with a bunch of coins. Its possible, right? Im just reminding people to be cautious. You could be a scammer too.
Someone told me a few years back that when you point a finger at someone,  three point back at you.

Great! Like with all PSUs, it's largely hit or miss.
359  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I bought a Roosewill Capstone PSU on: November 08, 2012, 06:50:01 AM
It was on a massive discount for $60. It is for a home office PC with a single 5850 for light mining, if I wanted to power a dedi miner I would've gone for a Corsair.
