I have sent gateway an offer for the batch and have spoken with sidehack about hosting to finalize the details ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.msg7814500#msg7814500 ) of course you can take ownership of your miner as well. It all depends how much gateway wants for the batch and how many people actually want miners. Everything would be handled through escrow to ensure no problems arise. Since, I am waiting to hear back from gateway I will wait to discuss any further options, but hopefully we can get this deal completed soon and have everyone hashing away. Please let me know if anyone is interested before I invest any more time in this venture. Well like I quoted data55 I might take one box off if the price n hosting is good pm me when ya have a price

At the current rate, I will accept 260 litecoins or 3.67 BTC
Thanks
So did you downgrade it then?

Haha at those prices I'd be a buyer too

Do you escrow? And if you can get almost 2k per unit I got 3 Dragon miners I'll sell also hehe
Remember to always escrow

wow tolip you really think outta the box when it comes to designing wc'in don't ya? Do you often have nightmares of leaks? or what it would look like if your whole setup failed all at once? boy i'm pretty sure there would be fireworks everywhere not hoping that happens to ya and i'm sure your extra extra careful...wc'in to expensive for me to play with...but it sounds like your one busy busy man tinkering around with all those jups n neps...i bet i'd be in nerd heaven if i had your workshop area to play with...probably wouldn't know what to do with myself hehe My 'workshop' is just a wire rack in my kitchen. I live in a small 2 room shoe. My main design goal for first stage with the Nep cooling was remote heat exchange. Another main factor was low downtime. I built the loop and modded a cube at a time while the other 4 hashed away. It is very much a temporary prototyping environment. The Hoopiter had a similar long transition into a neat case. If they runnin no hurry. No nightmares. the Nep system is just over 3L of H2O. YMMV oh for some reason i just pictured a big room with wc'in tubes all over the place...my bad

Any pictures or proof that you own this machine? escrow will take care of any worries of that

Too many newbies (new accounts) trying to sell expensive hardware on these boards.. too many newbies scams trying to sell expensive hardware on these boards FTFY Is this referring to me? I only decided to come here before I went to eBay because it's the Bitcoin's main forums? I have no intentions of hurting anyone, that's why I offer transparency and escrow-of-choice arranged by the buyers. I guess it looks bad being new, but don't judge everyone by their status on here. To my ignorance, I did not recognize how rampant Bitcoin hardware scams were, so I apologize for posting this here. One look in the scam accusation forum and it's pretty evident newbies selling anything are not looked upon in good light. I'll sell these on eBay and if I decide to come back here, I'll be sure to have more trade gumption to avoid any worries by you guys. Thanks for your time everyone and apologies for the AFK (business trip this past weekend). usually willing to escrow will put the scam accusations to rest i wasn't saying you personally was a scammer...just telling everyone that scams are rampant on here...if your willing to escrow then i see no harm in trying here first cause buyer will be protected

I've been searching a bit, there is no way to set a minimum worker difficulty?
Not on the website. However, I think the server honors difficulty requests sent by stratum as a command-line option of your miner. Through my research I read that the server actually rejects the command line setting on bfgminer Really curious if it can or can't be done, can anyone provide answer? It can not. There is pretty much zero reason to set a custom difficulty. The server already pretty aggressively chooses an appropriate difficulty. Wouldn't having large asics doing higher difficulty ease the load on the server? I understand a machine can do 1024 difficulty fast, so running 256 will just submit more shares at a more aggressive rate correct? I was under the impression it was the opposite, that if 1024 was set and the machine could run through it it would end up submitting more shares at a higher rate than 256 from the constant new work and submitting more shares of less difficulty. (Sorry I am a little bit confused at this point!) The pool targets each worker submitting 16 shares per minute, or one every ~4 seconds. Whatever difficulty it takes to do this at your hash rate (higher difficulty, less shares/min) the pool tries to use. Higher target difficulty shares are worth more, but found less frequently. Likewise lower target difficulty shares are found more often, but worth proportionally less. (I specifically say target difficulty because the achieved difficulty is meaningless.) This is to make sure you submit enough shares to make stats usable and at the same time limit the amount needed to send to the pool. 16 shares per minute is pretty aggressive. Some people want far fewer shares/min (higher difficulty) for some reason, which makes no sense and just adds unnecessary variance. With the pool setting the difficulty appropriately, the pool can determine what works best for the pool load, also. i've also noticed does the diff rate only go like 256 512 1024? so there is no middle ground? like 720?

Thanks tolip.
And maybe you could give your opinion on the statement "Core temperature sensing is performed by circuits on the die"
The LM75 measures it own case temperature. There _IS_ a die in there though. The original statement may have originated by someone who was wordlexic. Die(s)/PCB/cube whatever. I don't rely on that temp for much of anything. I ALWAYS use the hottest temp I can find for cooling decisions. As I type... 67C on bottom of PCB directly below ASIC 61C reported by LM75 I IR gunned the PCB temp. I could probbably find hotter but bottom of PCB's is inside my pentagon with trapped V8 bottle. It's tight in there and the bottle is not a cooperative captive. https://i.imgur.com/9T8lRc2.jpgYMMV wow tolip you really think outta the box when it comes to designing wc'in don't ya? What would you say if we change the rules a bit : - Raffle off 2 KNC Titan Miners (so the miners can be escrowed)
- Change ticket price to 0.01btc (that means 0.01 * 5000 minimum amount of tickets)
Or keep the game as it is!?! Please post for feedback/questions. Lucky Satoshi Team http://luckysatoshi.org/I don't think that would be good, because you are increasing the minimum required tickets to raffle the miner, and you don't seem to be having a lot of tickets so far... That would be a good idea if (or better: when) this takes off and more people start submitting tickets But if you do change, everything fine for me! We are increasing the minimum amount of tickets but we are decreasing price and double the prize! i like it, but i doubt you would have gotten 400 tickets...now 5000 in 3 weeks or so? hmm...thats alotta tickets...unless you promote the shit outta this i don't see it happening...unless your thinking that more players will play @ .01 then @ .05... but i mean i hope ya get it...cause i'd rather have 2 units for cheap/escrow'd then a big pot of btc just sitting in my wallet

Is there a way to power and control these without another November Jup?
only way to control nov. asics is with a knc controller board...if you have one for a oct. you can use it with nov. but you can't mix modules
