There is already a thread pinned on this forum regarding Rules/Guidelines.

Copy/pasting this: No zero or low value, pointless posts or threads ,into your self-proclaimed "Forum Rules" thread kind of defeats its own purpose. 343  Local / India / Dept of Economic Affairs wants virtual currencies to be regulated and not banned on: April 20, 2018, 03:50:56 PM
New Ray of Hope for Indian BTC and Cryptocurrency Enthusiasts

Department of Economic Affairs now wants virtual currencies to be regulated and not banned, the first official quoted above said. The Economic Affairs division feels that people would find a way around the ban, making it even tougher to track transactions in virtual currencies.

The industry, too, believes that regulation is a better way forward than attempting to ban virtual currencies. You will only push the market underground and make it tougher to track transactions, Navin Surya, chairman of the Payments Council of India told BloombergQuint in an interview on April 6.

Banning Bitcoin Won’t Help, Says Former RBI Deputy Governor Gandhi

A ban on cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin may not be the best way forward, according to former Reserve Bank of India deputy governor R Gandhi, even as the finance ministry compared them with ponzi schemes.

There simply isn’t enough evidence or data to show the extent to which such currencies being used to finance illegal activities like demanding ransom and drug trafficking, he told BloombergQuint in an interview. “Dealing, buying and selling of virtual currencies, per se, is not an illegal activity,” he said

Banning bitcoin will be a huge mistake: Silicon Valley guru to Modi

American billionaire, investor and bitcoin evangelist Tim Draper is bullish on India once again, in part because of the Narendra Modi administration’s crackdown on corruption, but is also critical of the government’s lack of acceptance of cryptocurrency. He believes bitcoin and blockchain will not only disrupt industries such as banking, healthcare and real estate, but also enable governments to become more transparent and efficient.

344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: April 20, 2018, 01:45:21 PM
Qstn: I have applied for a card myself few months ago, I am from India. As you may be aware that Reserve Bank of India have given three months time for all banks to close their accounts with every business and exchanges dealing with cryptocurrency. I wonder how monaco will issue their cards for people from India?
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Only 4 of 6 rx580 gpu works. on: April 20, 2018, 01:39:15 PM
I am not sure if this issue was fixed later but when 500 series was released people had trouble getting 5+ cards to run on a single rig. Here is a video by Cryptomined which explains a possible fix (by mixing up drivers).

I am not certain if this is the actual problem, but you can give it a try anyway. Goodluck
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: April 20, 2018, 01:36:50 PM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty

Real life application and usability of the said token will greatly affect the price, just because it is traded in few exchanges does not mean people need it. Many of the trades are done by bots so they just randomly chose tokens/coins that reach a certain price according to the bot configuration.

If you expect to see a rise in price, consider checking out the real world applications of the token and see if it has potential that when it is marketed properly - people will see the benefits and buy them.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin buy orders are >90% of the market for the first time since March 2017 on: April 20, 2018, 10:01:35 AM
Ninety percent of the all the orders on exchanges are people trying to buy Bitcoin & ten percent of all orders on exchanges are people trying to sell.
Effectively 90 people are trying to buy 10 people’s worth of Bitcoin. Indicating there is more demand for Bitcoin than supply.

This is also an indicator of market sentiment among those who are buying and selling Bitcoin.

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6x 1070ti simplemining OS issues, maybe power? on: April 20, 2018, 09:09:40 AM
Nvidia specs say that each card requires 180W power, so for your setup its 180x6 = 1080 W, adding CPU+motherboard and all other accessories along with it , I guess it must be that there isn't enough power for all cards to run in the same rig (since you have mentioned successfully running the same card x 4 in the same rig). Try with another PSU if you have access to them, like 1300W or higher. It is always better to leave a little room and not saving too much on the PSUs since it is a very critical component (have seen many people suggesting this here and also on ethereum forums)

350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you mind answering a dumb question? on: April 20, 2018, 08:34:15 AM
I am wondering and I wanted to ask this kind of dumb question why is it that ICO always start their Bounty before the start of pre-sale and not at the start of actual ICO? Thanks

Well, I guess bounties for signature campaign, social media, blogs, youtube etc are actual marketing strategies to spread the word and encourage potential investors. This forum is accessed by a very large no of people from all over the world, and thus placing ads in signature will give more exposure to their project and potential investors can get direct access to all information through ANN thread, website, github etc..
351  Economy / Reputation / Re: I never expected this on: April 20, 2018, 08:21:47 AM
starting from wanting to try a way but actually very wrong and fatal, is there any way to release Red trust from my account, if there is no way to release it then I will accept it  Undecided

Life will be a lot more easier if you respect others by trying not to insult their intelligence. Greed may got the better of you this time. Don't fight it, accept and learn from your mistake. Good luck!
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2018 on: April 20, 2018, 08:12:02 AM
You can find different opinions in the forum itself, most of them are biased on personal interest. I was mining LTC myself during the last ath a month ago - there was a big hype about litepay which caused a pump from around 150$ to 240$.

Litepay was closed however and the company posted this on their website : "LitePay, Inc has ceased operations due to an inability to source sufficient liquidity or financing. We would like to thank our employees and partners for their tireless work."

I should also point out about people talking about how LTC founder himself sold all of his coins during the ath in 2017. Therefore, I wouldn't consider this coin to go further up in the market.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 19, 2018, 04:50:20 PM
Every provably-fair system is not very ''provably-fair'', they will add something that looks very insignificant which makes all the difference in the odds. Since now gambling have gone online it is easier for them to exploit the users with sophisticated algo which will beat anyone trying to make a profit out of them.

Gambling is not in anyway a source of income, it is just for entertainment and the people offering the service obviously want to make loads of cash from greedy people instead of giving them any.

I myself had a gambling addiction and lost a significantly big amount of money while trying to make up for the loss. Many people will think that they won't become greedy and just cashout while winning, but thats something which is hardly possible, because the rewardingness of these games are pretty addictive and we will risk anything to get that feeling once more.
354  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: April 19, 2018, 04:38:36 PM

I can't log in to my account because Binance is not sending SMS.

Receiving SMS both depends on Binance and also your operator. I have had loads of issue receiving international sms for verification when I used a certain operator in my country, but that problem disappeared when I just port my number to another operator. It is not wise to use SMS authentication when you already have other great options like Google Authentication 2FA. I suggest waiting it out to receive a reply to your support ticket - it might take a while considering that Binance is a very rapidly growing exchange.

355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to join airdrop? on: April 19, 2018, 04:23:23 PM
I have joined like 5-6 airdrops and did benefit from them, not in any exaggerated sense. Some of them was straight out scams where they just collected peoples personal information like email etc.. But, few projects like Bitcoin White gave me about 1500 tokens/coins which I actually sold for 150$ - not much, but considering that I got it for free - it is worth.

Like some other members said, there isn't any need of huge effort to join an Airdrop, some require you to have ETH balance in your wallet, so I would say give it a shot.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Alternatives? on: April 19, 2018, 03:52:34 PM
Now that ICOs are so tainted with suspicion and scams what alternatives are out there for investors?

Do you think ICOs are still as innovative and as profitable as they were a couple of years ago?

Keeping the current market in mind is it worth taking risks investing via ICOs?

Saw this while browsing through forums, so I guess thats a good reason to stay away from every ICO if you are looking to invest a good amount. I was myself searching for various kinds of projects to invest since I have some BTC savings held from my current mining project - I thought I would just invest it somewhere so I can exchange it back to BTC once it reaches a good price. I have noticed that there is very little information about the coin/token (technically) on the description or even on their "whitepaper". Most of these ICO's just add up buzzwords in their description so that people will get the idea that it is something big.

Popular words include AI, BIG DATA etc..

Judging by this suspicious nature of most 'ICO's i refrained from investing my BTC, and decided just to HODL.
357  Local / India / Re: Is this possible in India? on: April 19, 2018, 02:13:42 PM
Amazon filed a patent to de-anonymize Bitcoin transactions and sell the data to law enforcement

News link here

Just saw this at r/bitcoin. I don't know exactly if this is good/bad for the crypto community. But I guess, if the data is sold or given only to law enforcement that should be a great reason for Govt. to stop worrying about how 'BTC would be used for illegal purposes'.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign on: April 19, 2018, 01:18:52 PM
Hello everyone,

This is my first time to joined signature and bounty campaign. Can anyone here who can give advice or information on how to make post?

Every Signature campaign manager gives all details about how to make posts and what specifically need to be focused in the Post Requirement section of the thread. It is always good to read the full announcement about the signature campaign before joining, and follow the instructions which suggests their needs. Also, we need to post constructive and quality information in the forum and not just take part in any kind of spam mega threads just to increase the post count. If we seriously take this as a part time commitment, it is almost as good as a job.

Also, make sure that your rank is acceptable and there is slots left before putting up the signature/avatar etc.. and applying.

This is an example of the Post Requirement section.

359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bad/good news relationship to the price? on: April 19, 2018, 01:07:46 PM
I guess this is what is popularly known among investors as Fundamental Analysis

Fundamental analysis is a method of evaluating a security in an attempt to measure its intrinsic value, by examining related economic, financial and other qualitative and quantitative factors. Fundamental analysts study anything that can affect the security's value, including macroeconomic factors such as the overall economy and industry conditions, and microeconomic factors such as financial conditions and company management. The end goal of fundamental analysis is to produce a quantitative value that an investor can compare with a security's current price, thus indicating whether the security is undervalued or overvalued.

360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Will Use Blockchain But Crypto Currencies Will be Ignored? on: April 19, 2018, 01:01:57 PM
If you are already aware about what happened in India in the recent couple of weeks. The Govt. formed a committee to learn about Blockchain tech and also BTC, this happened as far as early 2015 when BTC was around 500-600$ and many people from India was showing interest in the tech as well as in the investment aspect of BTC.

The Govt. took a neutral stance and only warned the citizens about 'insecure' nature of BTC since they clearly did not understand what BTC was. May be they gave such a picture since there were many investment and mining scams that took around that time. Anyway, last few weeks was a real rollercoaster ride when the central bank (RBI) sent out a circular to all banks under its jurisdiction to refrain from serving any kind of business or Individuals who were dealing in crypto. There was a massive panic sell at that point and now situation is quite certain that there is no more be any BTC action in India. The committee they formed learned about blockchain tech however and many banks are using it and there is also a rumor that the central bank may release a crypto for Indians.
