341  Economy / Economics / Re: China says rejecting physical cash is illegal amid e-payments popularity on: December 13, 2018, 10:33:45 AM
Quote
SHANGHAI (Reuters) - China’s central bank on Monday warned that rejecting cash as a form of payment was illegal, saying that such practices could eventually could cause the loss of confidence in physical money and was unfair to those not accustomed to electronic payments.

Its comments, made in a post on its official WeChat account, come as electronic payments via Alibaba Group’s Alipay or Tencent Holdings’s WeChat have become increasingly popular in China where they are accepted on platforms such as public transport and at retailers like coffee shops.

The ease of use has meant that some vendors, especially in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, have stopped accepting physical cash.

“Electronic payments has given us a new way to pay, but it must not replace cash payments,” the People’s Bank of China said. “Over time, the practice can become second nature and people could lose confidence in cash.

It added that it was particularly unfair to the elderly and people who lived in underdeveloped parts of the country who would have difficulty in mastering the processes needed for electronic payment.

The central bank also pointed out that some local authorities were promoting their technology advancements with taglines like “cashless city”, but said that this should not mean that they no longer accepted money.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-payment/china-says-rejecting-physical-cash-is-illegal-amid-e-payments-popularity-idUSKBN1O902F

....

China appears to be adopting the inverse polar opposite of a cashless society.

This makes for an interesting contrast with other nations many of whom view a transition to cashless payment systems as being a natural progression.

If someone wanted to cite reasons behind china adopting the opposite of a cashless society, while many other nations of the world embraced the opposite abstract--how would they explain this? What would the main motive behind differences in policy be?

It should be for now since many people are still using physical money and many of them also doesn't even know anything about digital money for now.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times you heard the bitcoin gonna die? on: December 13, 2018, 09:45:53 AM
I'm in this market for almost 2 years.
I think that I heard about the death of Bitcoin a thousand times already. It's becoming ridiculous.
Is there any site that tracks all the time that 'Bitcoin good die' was in the news? I want to print it and put it on my wall.

On every year I always heard of Bitcoin that it is going to die and no one has really proven anything that a crypto could die.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: December 12, 2018, 11:52:03 AM
Many ICO launch payment gateway choice ETH. any other crypto coins why not use in ico payment gateway.

Because I think the Ethereum network is the only way they could make a lot of useless coins to make a lot of people invest and scam them, but not all of them.

346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cryptocurrency future in India is in danger on: December 12, 2018, 11:29:21 AM
2 days ago, the previous governor of RBI Urijit Patel resigned from his position citing personal reasons.

Now, the new governor is Shaktikanta Das, who few months ago told this:

You can read the full interview here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/india/1224492/bitcoin-just-cant-be-regulated-in-india-insists-an-influential-former-bureaucrat/amp/

:/

People inside the crypto space is aware of these things to happen and it will not make any more FUD to them, but at the end it will always be okay for use to use crypto since they really can't regulate it at all. Unless you can get caught.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Drop 3% on: December 11, 2018, 10:09:01 AM
In past 24 hours. The prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum has now fallen by more than 3% in U.S. Dollar.
 1. Bitcoin price drop in daily peak, this dominant cryptocurrency is actually down six percent. BTC at its low in daily volume in steep sell off or 5% to 10% thus tends to see an increase in daily volume.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

What happen to tokens if ETH drops 35% more?

As long as those coins will have volume in dollars I think eveything will be fine and would continue more to go down for awhile, but I know that thing will recover soon.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin and Economy rare? on: December 11, 2018, 09:59:07 AM
The prices of bitcoin and Altcoin are all declining, I am stressed thinking about the current price situation that is getting destroyed.

And I also think that the necessities of economic life are getting more expensive, what is needed is also the price of higher needs in the store.

What do you think about the current situation, will this be rare for the long term, the longer I feel stressed in these two needs.

I think the rareness of Bitcoin was about a year ago and for now it is neural for investors, but I think the huge investors are looking to it when it gets cheap enough for them to accumulate.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 11, 2018, 09:42:00 AM
"I told you so" comes to mind.

I warned everyone in here again and again in the beginning of 2018.

Get out of Bitcoin as fast as you can to limit your losses.

Everytime so-called "experts" and "investors" in here said to HODL. Bitcoin would soon go to the moon.

Only the most blind and stupid still believe Bitcoin will ever recover.

The sooner you get out, the smaller your loss. If you wait, you can be sure the loss will be even bigger.

Blockchain technology has a great future, but cryptocurrencies - any crypto -  are a dead end.

When it comes to investing Holding is not a good way to tell other people to do here because they might end up losing it all. They should try practicing on how to cut their losses.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still Hodling?? Only acumulating btc for me on: December 10, 2018, 12:30:20 PM

So guys, are you still hodling altcoins. Tbh, I just don't see any case for the moment in hodling coins, my start for the moment is to get as much sats as I can

Same for me, but I do accumulate Bitcoin and as well, Ethereum is order to diversify my investments. I do also look for something else to invest.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: December 10, 2018, 12:18:32 PM
Ok neither of these are easy but as a long term strategy to do think its best to day trade and try and get 1-2% a day or invest in a couple of coins and try and get 20% over a month

Of course it is more appropriate to get 20-30% a month rather than going for 1-2% day because it will not be that time consuming and will be less hard to do.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: December 10, 2018, 12:01:24 PM
We see that all the time in some countries cryptocurrencies are banned or in the contrary they start to make a special regulation. It shows that everyone want to do something with it but don't really know what, yet. Maybe you guys can guess, as experts from the crypto community, what do we need for normal living in a blockchain world?

It is pretty obvious that we lack the ability to adapt more about Blockchain. People only tend to go here because they see that they could get a lot of money here.

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why cryptos are facing such downfall? on: December 09, 2018, 11:08:37 AM
You name it, I will say it's falling. The rise and fall may be a part of a game, but just in a year, the value is getting less and less. There are several reasons behind it. Like volatility, bad press, stringent government policies, less security and many more.

Are you still investing in cryptos? If yes what do you think is the reason behind it and please share your views so that people who are investing and wanted to invest can learn more.

The most reason behind it is because it had gone up for so much and it needs to go down sometimes. We shouldn't be afraid of it and wait for what will happen next.

356  Economy / Economics / Re: What Would be The Next On BTC Please Share Your Opinion? on: December 09, 2018, 10:51:52 AM
What Do You Think What Will Be Happen After This Market Crash On this Stage. And How to Get Over All This Critical Situation?Waiting For the Good News .when The Sun Peeps for a Good News brings a positive Energy to work with This Smiley

I guess this time is a waiting game for everyone. Whales are obviously delaying all bull trends because they see a lot of people still wants crypto and also inside it.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Bull after Christmas? on: December 09, 2018, 10:08:48 AM
after all that had happened, December was a decline in the price of BTC which was completely destroyed, and the sockets are now far beyond predictions,
some predictions say BTC will be bull early in December, but in the first week of December BTC has experienced a price decline beyond predictions,
Is the prediction that there will be a bull After Christmas will occur?
or will it fall further down?

Everybody hopes for that to happen, but that is also the reason why Bitcoin is not rising because there are a lot of people expecting it to happen and for that whales is just delaying it.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some "whales" preparing for selling operations? on: December 08, 2018, 10:17:08 AM
As we may know, aside some few huge wallets, there is no more real activity around bitcoin (around 10 million$ / day, to be compared with total capitalization)

I've read here that some of these huge accounts that have been silent during monthes/years have split their assets into several smaller accounts

What lead me to conclude that Bitcoin won't recover, main reason being that I know noone still believing in it. Nobody to "invest" in apart from those almost religious about it (there is obviously a bias reading a bitcoin forum compared to real life : 10 millions$/day shifts says that too)

Imagine what will happen when of of this sells, only 1 account may represent the amount of 1 month usual activity in bitcoin market!!

My opinion : Bitcoin is just out of date, too old to compete for beeing a currency, what it was desigend for (remember, this was not meant to be a speculative asset)
But it showed the way. Blockchain has lots of good ideas

Of course not. We are in the bear trend right now and whales would prepare for selling? Are you kidding? They have had already planned that when Bitcoin is peaking and obviously they are now preparing to buy.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: December 07, 2018, 10:46:04 AM
Market downturn is probably one of the main reasons why ICO projects can't last long and joining their bounty program is useless and a time waster. Due to the fact that the market goes into nosedive, ICOs are forced to cash out some funds in order to survive. However, it is not enough which is why some of them decide to cancel their ICOs and return the funds of the investors. It means if you have promoted their ICO way back then as a bounty hunter, your time and effort was put to waste. You might be given tokens, but dormant and unusable.

Been there, done that. I have experienced a lot as a bounty hunter in which all of my hardwork (even some stakes are average to high, sometimes low) was put to waste because of their sudden cancellations, closure of their ICOs, and the worst part is that when we fall of those programs with fake team or so, they would run away with the investors' funds and our reputation would be affected due to promoting them on social media or so.

On top of that, most of their tokens are going downhill the day they started integrating themselves in centralised or decentralised exchanges. Even if they choose to lock it on a certain period of time, it's definitely no use because they're still affected by the dump in which everything is unregulated and uncontrolled.

The future of ICOs and bounty programs are at stake due to the market downturn, and it goes even deeper than that. It looks like it'll take years for us to see the bull run, or maybe no chance at all.

If you are participating in any ICOs or joining as bounty hunters, what do you think about this? Let me hear your opinion on this guys! Thank you.

I guess the future of bounty programs wouldn't be the same as where right now and the past years because there would be a lot of people coming in.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be happened in coming years 2019?? on: December 07, 2018, 10:09:58 AM
Now prices are dumping at a rocket motion, 2018 is bad year but coming year 2019 will bring happy news for us???

Nothing I guess. We should try not to expect anything for us not to be disappointed in the future if things doesn't go on our way.
