The user has been online and not paid me. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I would like my .002 within 24 hours please and thank you. I hope the OP pays me the money he owes me.

Done! Please pay the address on my profile.
The US dollar bill is a symbol of prosperity and opportunity all around the world. It drives immigrants to work harder, and it represents the gold standard for a currency. However, the US dollar also stands for something else. It represents the turmoil and hate present in the American economy. People in America are constantly competing with each other over the pursuit of money, and few take the time to enjoy life. The picture represents both the opportunity that the US dollar produces, as well as the hate and enmity it creates. If you look closely at the man and the woman in the picture, they both look unhappy and quite sad. This is because while they are tugging on the money, they are unhappy with the time and effort they are putting in. The pursuit of money is an addiction indeed, and should be carefully monitored. There are both good and bad effects involved when using the US dollar.

@iluvbitcoins can you use the same Bitcoin and TOR address that I have down for the signature campaign? Also, please reserve the second mining spot for me. I'll show how users with regular PC's can mine!
Will do There's only 1 spot Though, I will give you 5 TOR if you do it too Hello. Only today morning there were two spots available. On top of this, I think it will be greatly benificial if you have a video about how to mine with a low end PC (like mine), for the less tech savvy members. Would you be willing to do .005 and 5 TOR? I have not been paid for my previous video yet as well, and TORcoin owes me a bounty as well.

Done! Finished the challenge, after a bit of tinkering. A little screen-cast-o-matic watermark, but I hope that is OK because I wanted to get my voice in there. It is under two minutes, but efficiently explains how to download the TORcoin wallet for Windows! Here is the youtube video link: http://youtu.be/-PQGm2rACFw?hd=1

for the holy onion burying challenge, can we do it in private with a fake torcoin paper wallet?
Sure Make it seem funny if you can I might do that later. Just finished the wallet downloading tutorial, going up to youtube now! I get the .01 bonus correct? For being first? The wallet download is listed as a "2"

I personally do not invest money in altcoins, but rather time. For example, I am in the TORcoin campaign (check my signature), and plan to make a lot of posts in order to earn a suitable amount of TOR. I used to own WAVES but I sold them fearing a dump scheme. Currently I do not own any altcoins.

|
|
It would be unfair to the coin creators to say a certain coin is a pump and dump scheme. Legitimate time and effort is put into creating them. You should instead do the research and list the coins you think are illegitimate with proof. If I had to speculate, I think WAVES is not legit.

Hello! I just emailed you about the white paper, and I sent you the link to get the TORcoin website unblocked as well! Let me know what bounty I earned

In that case, why don't you make the following service: A microtip platform, that allows people to tip users on reddit, on here, etc. Basically, users could deposit an altcoin or BTC onto your platform. Altcoins would be converted into BTC, and you can charge a slight fee for that. Users could then use the coins on your platform to tip others using your platform. This will make small tips like .0002 practical again. If my idea is good, please tip the addy on my profile This has already existed on the past and it didn't go that well as far as I know. https://www.reddit.com/r/changetip/This was it. yes, it failed because it did not support altcoins. Theymos himself is advocating for such a feature however, so there is clearly a need for it. I can direct you to his thread if you are interested in reading it. Just shoot me a PM or reply here and I will PM it to you

Ayee lol now I can say that Theymos responded to me But the idea that you wouldn't need a lot of capital to start this is completely false. You would need at least ten thousand dollars, and probably more, to hire the developers to make this software. It is doable, but would be quite expensive. Maybe it could be community-funded and sponsored by BTCtalk?

Steemcoin.net is quite a premium domain name to be perfectly honest. Where is it hosted and for how much? Also, list an initial bid that you would be interested in. I would offer .02 BTC, but I have a feeling that my offer is way too low for your liking.
|
|
|
This is an interesting idea for a platform indeed. However, to get this business to a profitable place, it would need to have a huge following as it would need a large amount of micro transactions to make money on the conversions. Theymos, why don't you offer a free advertising slot on this forum to anyone who comes up with such a business?

I find Poloniex highly shady at best. Almost all of the current Altcoin pumps & dumps, and orchestrated market inflation is done on Poloniex. There is no way that they suddenly attained so much money nor volume. However, something like this is extremely hard to prove without the involvement of authorities. Especially: This issue is happening everyday with poloniex and im sure they got the money to make sure to keep their site running so why is this fucking site lagging all the time when the volume on their site increases a bit??
You'd need to prove that their downtime is artificially created by themselves. This is very hard to do even if you had access to their infrastructure (e.g. they could hire someone externally to DDoS themselves).
All things considered, this is probably better suited for Service Discussion. Don't other exchanges like Kraken have dump problems as well? ETH crashed on Kraken due to an issue they had there, but I do not see anyone calling them out. Poloniex is a very legitimate exchange in my honest opinion, as I have never had a problem trading on there.

- Note: Trusted member is someone with a green trust tag
I altered my trust settings to a higher depth, does my trust show as green ? I'm guessing its not qualifying as you have to get trust from a certain special list of people or is my understanding wrong You are not qualified as a "trusted" member, because it does not show up as green to me, a regular user without any affiliation to you. You can still join this campaign and earn a pretty penny with the Hero member rates however! We do not offer Legendary member rates as of yet.

Of course altcoins are worth investing in. Think about Bitcoin in the early days. It was worthless, and people viewed it as a novelty. Now look at it! The early adopters of the coin are filthy rich. Altcoins are a risk as is any financial investment, but they can help support Bitcoins in the crypto industry much like silver supports gold in the precious metals industry.
