341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: May 23, 2017, 12:07:36 PM
Is it possible to set a specific coin to ignore autoexchange? I'd like to keep mining eth but autoexchange all other coins to btc.

No sorry but features like this have been discussed in the forum and MiningPoolHub may implement something to achieve this in the future.

I have published a new release and removed the link to the excavator miner binaries: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases
NiceHash permit you to download excavator yourself should you wish to use it with MultiPoolMiner.

Please also note:-
If you have Windows 7, please update PowerShell:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50395
You may need the C++ redistributables if you don't already have ithem
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=40784
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Please submit bugs and feature requests in the 'issues' section: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/issues

I've already got all the Micorsoft downloads mentioned above installed, but to be safe I'll delete & re-install them.
I'll give MultiPoolMiner V2.5.2 a go and see what happens; it may be a couple of days before I can do this - my Windows 10 PC just blew up as I was writing this so it will need fixing.

Thanks,
CMB.

Oh dear, I hope it's not too serious. If you get it up and running again feel free to post any issues on GitHub.

Great! All that drama Nicehash creates, eh? Couldn't you just prompt the users to download it? You wouldn't make them to do anything, they type yes or so and agree to legal stuff and bang.

That would make sense with a normal company but NiceHash would most likely complain still and threaten legal action.

They do the same thing with the Nicehash miner.

I may revisit it at some point; just move on for now but I will be integrating it's API more.

Hi all,

blah blah blah

    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : RuntimeException

Delete excavator from the folder called 'miners'.

excavator is the culprit?

If you downloaded a fresh copy; then yes.

Hi all,

I'm new here (and to mining) and not sure if this post will get to where it is intended but here goes...

My setup:
OS Windows 7 x64. Two cards installed , RX 480 & R9 270x.

Just started trying out mining about 2 weeks ago and have got it up-and-running quite well, so thought I'd give "MiningPoolHub_Specific MultiPoolMinerV2.5.1.2" a go.
It worked just fine - no errors and coins started rolling in, but...
I left it running for a few hour and when I came back it looked like it was stuck on Ethdcrminer64 and no coins were updating on Mining Pool Hub.

I deleted all but the benchmarks and installed a fresh copy but it still gave the same errors.
Any help will be most appreciated,
ManyThanks.

It kept giving the following error over and over again:

I really hope miningpoolhub.com will add Decred/Lbry/Pascal soon.

Yes, eager to get dual mining profit switching up.
Think he is working as fast has he can.

Doesn't help with the DDOS attacks that are attempting to disrupt the pool.
When something gets good they get targeted, shame.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: May 22, 2017, 06:16:41 PM
is there a possibility of supporting Decred or Pascal sometime in the future?... i want to be able to optimize ROI should one of the others coins become more profitable in Dual mining.

Yeah I'll add that.
I try to add them as fast as possible but busy with pool works already. Sorry about it.

oh.. and just sia would be nice too.  nicehash has a version of excavator that does just 'sia' for one of the coins.  was running it on nicehash pool earlier for my nvidia cards.

I'm going to add Sia Excavator to MultiPoolMiner but NiceHash are being anything but nice.

yeah... i've noticed that.  They like to bash their competitors with baseless claims.

Reminds me of this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1707546.msg17344495#msg17344495
They don't care about dev fee, they just want to dominate and monopolize.

Can anynone explain why i get authethication error on multi agro switching using ccminer?

It's complicated getting that to work; I recommend trying MultiPoolMiner and just setting it to NVidia only in the 'start.bat'.

I have just registered to try Mining Pool Hub... Mining SC 12h and still stuck with first block.. Sad

Quote
Est. Shares    2,997,290,765 (done: 252.64%)

Is this normal?? Over 200%?
Usually, with other pool, I would have around 200SC until now.. Sad My estimate here is 48SC

that s called bad luck, probably not much miners on pool

You will get above and below 100% but there may be a problem with that pool at the moment; there is a warning at the top:

We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

SIA pool is normally lucky, averaging at 82%:

Hi guys how do you setting your miner so it can auto switch to other algo??

lets say i mining zcoin, but i want to switch it to monero when profit more good in monero, how can i do that?

thank you Smiley

Can someone tell me how to setting it? Or maybe if this place is wrong to ask, please kindly tell me where i am should post? thank you Smiley

You can use aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner for easy mining.

i am lost on trying to get this to work

Just click 'start.bat' and it will start.

Is it not possible to using cpuminer to be the miner for auto switch mining? and thank you to let me know about that miner will try it Smiley

No, they have different algorithms and miners. Use MPM as suggested above.

is it the only CPU miner that can support auto switch? And thank you for your explanation before Smiley

Miners don't just auto switch out of the box. In MultiPoolMiner, I read the hashrate for your machine, monitor the prices on MiningPoolHub and run all the popular most profitable miners to ensure that you are getting the highest profit.

Please help me how to autoswitch between myriad-groestl,skein and neoscrypt with my rig? I am new and need your help. Which miner is more convenient to use for Miningpoolhub pool?  Thanks in advance!  Smiley

Try MultiPoolMiner: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases

Enter the algorithms in the 'start.bat'.

So i edit your start file and included those algo.

Any idea when you will be able to add Decred(DCR)? Does it have to mine to MPH? I have hacked my claymore script for eth to dual mine but obvosly it is not taken into count when comparing.

I have the code for Zpool but I'm sticking with MiningPoolHub. The guy that runs Zpool doesn't know how the code in his own pool works.

Decred is coming soon to MiningPoolHub. Just wait! Cheesy

If I start multipoolminer I often got message that I do not have this dll and that dll. I got that in pretty much every new rig I made.

I wonder.

What libraries I should install so I can easily run all the miners out there in multipoolminer?

It may be this:
https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-msvc2015/issues/4

Some of the included miners need the C++ runtimes:

How can I turn off Auto exchange? I turned it on for XZC and BTC, but I'd like to exchange manually now.
Thanks

Same place that you turned it on; in 'Auto Exchange' on the menu that is to the left of the website. Change it from 'Bitcoin' to 'Not Set'.
