Have you sent a 1000 DAS exactly, or 1000 DAS - transaction fee? Do you check this 'masternode outputs' command on the wallet where the coin arrived, and not where you sent from? |

There isn't really a minimum amount.... But if you are doing it for financial profit, the ticket extra reward would need to cover your VPS rental expenses. You would need at least enough DCR for 1 ticket which is about £2000. Reward is 1.4 DCR average within a month which is about £40 5% fee mean you would pay £2 for the pool operator after every ticket. Staking on a 2GB memory VPS is plenty, it would cost £3 a month. You would need 2 of them for redundancy. It would cost £6 and a few hours to set them up. Therefore if you stake with only 3 tickets, your pool expenses very similar as the VPS cost... If you stake with more than 3 tickets, you are financially better off by solo staking with 2 VPSs. |

Is it still worth it to run masternode with its price today. can we pay the fees? To be honest, not really. Or at least not on it's own... I am running a CHC and a DAS masternode on the same VPS (2GB memory). And CHC and ARC on an other VPS (same spec) If you run it together with something, then yes, it worth... But for me, it is rather educational purposes, it take much more time then the money it earns. |

Wraps hang, why do not you have income? How long does it have income? Or how many coins can be required?
Have you already set up you masternode? When was the last time you received any reward? The reward is about 1.5-2 DAS a day, don't expect more and there are days when nothing arrive. |

Is it possible to run Chaincoin masternode on a windows machine? I dont feel too comfy in the linux world sadly  Yes, that shouldn't be a problem... As long as the computer is running 24/7 and has a static IP, it can be a masternode. The guide is kind of same but much easier.. You just need to download and install the wallet and modify the conf files according the giude. |

c_p, you've been doing a great job in this thread. Has it crossed your mind to fork something and create a new masternode based coin? You've got the knowledge and vision, I'm sure alot of people here would follow. Obviously It would be ideal if you could somehow take over a large share of this coin, but if that's not a possibility, seems like you should start something up.
Good idea... As long as it won't be the same as Vivo coin which just steal part of the community without rewarding anyone. If I can chose DAS without Truckman, I would be happy... Let's free DAS from him. |

Snapshot date is way long delayed and it kinda concerns me how the progress is being made by both dev of SPR and HeliumPay. I must admit it crossed my mind to sell my SPR now than wait for the snapshot because SPR once being snapshot may reduce to satoshi.
Once the snapshot will be over, the SPR price more than likely to fall very hard and become almost worthless. This price increase which happened in the last 6 month is the Helium effect. Take it away and you can see the real price of SPR. However if you sell now, you won't be eligible to Helium and you would need to buy that in the exchanges. I can't predict the future, but my guess is when HLM appear on exchanges, the price will be higher than the SPR price now. Many people want to join the Helium project, but don't want to deal with coinswap. All of them are waiting for exchange listing... But as I mentioned, it is only my opinion, I might be wrong. |

I'm not sure if the local wallet have corrected setting. Because in the Masternode tab there isn't anything. If you followed the video and set up the hot node/controlling wallet and you have nothing in the My Masternodes tab, that mean your masternode.conf is either empty or not not correct... If the all masternodes tab is empty, that means your wallet is not synchronised to the network. Thanks for your time. But i don't know.. You watched this video? Because i'm scared.. Maybe there aren't all instruction? In the local wallet there is another step? Thanks again I have watched the video from the beginning to the end, and you are right... Given the bad behavior of the SPR team, literally no updates that they were abandoning the project. I'm a little worried about Helium. They did publish a statement a little over a week ago, I just don't think they can meet a September deadline. Helium better a be a real project and not an exit for SPR holders, they will be held legally responsible.
There is a chance the launch will happen in early October as now we are in the middle of September. But that doesn't make the project less viable. You are right, the Helium project could be a nice exit strategy for large SPR holders to cash out, it could have happened.... But it didn't happen, there is no liquidity, nobody is selling any meaningful quantities. The reason is: this is the most viable project I have in my portfolio and this has the biggest chance of success. The team and the community is one of the strongest I have ever encountered. And not, you can't make anyone legally responsible for anything here. It is an unregulated market, everyone has to do their due diligence before investing, no financial or legal protection from a regulatory body. But this is also the reason, why this and other crypto projects are growing and delivering un-matchable financial return. |

Hi guys i'm following this guide to create a Masternode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVIoVnarKm0But i have one problem at the 4:25. When send my 1000 Das to the "adress 0", the movement is unconfirmed all time. I waited four hours but the result is the same. Why? The wallet in the VPS is already working but in the guide there is this passage and after i synchronize with the VPS. Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for any answer!  You are doing it right if you follow the video and sent the 1000 das to toyr account 0 address... It needs confirmations. Yesterday and last night the network was down and there was no valid block mined, no transaction went through. Now it is getting back to normal, but the block time still about 5-10x longer than normal. You would need to wait much longer than normal for the confirmations, but nothing else needs to be done. |

Hi Guys! Hoping for a little masternode help.
I set up my first DAS Masternode but I havent received anything yet. I did the masternode start-alias and it shows that it started ok.
I also ran the masternodelist and it shows that it's enabled:
"74c2e54026c8b9375d755cf7a27abccdab96b30bfdd8bd6cf5c77ed6abb19c9f-1": "ENABLED",
What am I missing?
As long as the masternode is enabled (checking on the masternode, not on the controlling wallet) you should be OK. In the masternode status you see 'Successfully started' and you see enabled next to your transaction ID, it should be OK. I set up 3 masternodes on Saturday. One of them hasn't received any reward and that is enabled ever since... It is random, and it will catch up later. |
