Any estimate when the code and white paper is published?
nearest plan is following: 1. open source nem-core (that's portion of NIS, poi won't be there) 2. deal with late-comers 3. work on white paper - I wouldn't expect it to happen earlier than 2 months from now. Dissapointed not to see marketing in there. give it time please We are 6 months past time of the release date haha.

Try contacting the guys in my signiture it used to be atomic trade and also have a separate exchange just for crypro to fiat. i can put who ever in touch with them directly
We need some bigger and reputated exchanges. So it this what this thread is going to be come now? Whining about lack of exchanges (2 days after launch mind you) like in the NODE thread ? Want more exchanges ? Go contact them. Show interest. If they see people want XEM there they may add it sooner. We want marketing. As investors we have a voice too do we not???

Well, launch went smoothly, price keeps growing. What is the next step?
Get the word out hopefully.

Congratulations NEM team it's like NXT all over again.
Just better!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Jokes aside, everything is working beautifully!! And faster imho, but NXT had marketing, we don;t seem to have that. A lot of people on poloniex doesn't even know that XEM is NEM. This name change or whatever was a bit useless yes the marketing was a tad underwhelming, very little buzz created around launch except in the thread ... We need to work on this. Well 6 months late and only a couple of days notice I think this was the point, to try and maybe throw off the dumpers? To try and shock the cryptocommunity? Whatever the reason Marketing needs some serious help.

I also posted this on the NEM forum.
I've tried twice to send XEM to Polo, but the transactions remain on pending and after one hour they time out. What can I do about this?
I have the latest client (of course), blockchain is synched, my accounts are added correctly.
are you adding the unique message?

Development was skilled let us hope marketing will be just as skilled. I feel this is where we are lcking.

Guys please, the easiest way is just to ask since I don't have much time to research.
Friend is trying to install NEM client, but he is running windows 7, 32bit. For client to work, 64bit Java is necessary. When he tries to install 64bit Java he gets the error messages. What's the workaround this problem?
Thanks!
installer doesnt work with 32bit java and if hes on 32bit computer then it wont install 64bit java. need to use stand alone in this case. http://blog.nem.io/windows-installation-guide-standalone/Make sure you remove ANY previous/other versions of NEM client, and the standalone works beautifully on 32bit.

I couldn't get the standalone to work with the BETA for my 32 bit, but it works flawlessly now!!!! Very impressed.
That Poloniex message "Deposit: You MUST send your deposit using the unique Message below. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your deposit." is just ridiculous and over complicated. This is going to anger someone less observant. What is the point of this?

Launching today! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Will there be a one click installer for a 32-bit linux system? That would be nice but I wouldn't get your hopes up. I refuse to download any amateur software on my main machine (like crypto currency clients) and have an old 32bit toy I use just for these amateur software but guess I'll just have to make an exception and download this on my main rig. Seems stable enough in previous versions.

4 Days left! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

P.S. Don't want to say anything as I don't want to spoil the fun, but none of the devs actually mentioned explicitly any month
![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Um yes, they said September 2014, then November 2014, then March 2015.

Considering this coin is launching in March, and only 5 days remain in March, I assume we are going to see a ninja launch. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

launch is still planned for march? Because i hate last minute cancellation ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yep they said March, 6 days left! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) There have been so many last minute cancellations there is no way they would do that agin.
