I see more and more people are starting to doubt Bitcoin because the price doesn't go up in this new year. Honestly, I am always optimistic and continue to wait for the increase even I know that the price increase cannot be timed. So what and what should I do now?

Hi All, I have been in cryptocurrency since 2014 but last 3 years I took a break from it. I had high hopes how it can change the financial world. I would like to get back into it but first I would like to find out what is cryptocurrency today. Is it just a trading commodity, long term investment or is it (very very very) slowly replacing fiat. I know there are many companies and small shops that accept cryptocurrency but is that it? Is the problem still about the speed of a transaction Please help me catch up a little  You know what mate, we are in the world of trading where all altcoins in every platform are volatile. Through this we survive as a traders, if you are doing trade most of the time in the market. But if you are a bullish, it is much less into risk involvement as a coin holders. But so far, nothing's change in the market, its almost the same as what happen last 2018. |

It is really hard to make an account in a new exchange platform. Especially if the platform is unknown at the coinmarketcap, so in your case I guess you got scammed by this site pal. Because for me I'm not using any exchange which I know it has a high volume and established traders to their community as well. |

Hi from Bangkok to everyone!) After a 24 hours flight, Im landed with some thoughts. I have a many reasons to be here in this forum. And the main of this i have a money for crypto projects! My last experience was not successful, and others not ideal too. So, now i feel that i'm ready for new experience! I don't want to lose my money again. Im looking for stability projects without xxxxxxx-profit but with selfmanagement options. (pryvat keys and etc.) I'm a beginner forum user but thinking about security all the time! )) Especially last 2 months. It can be not a cosmic profit but stable. The mining is not a profitable source at this moment. ICO is dead and not popular as some time ago. Also I don't have a lot of free time for trading. So i need your opinions, advises and maybe partnership from profi and beginners.  I think that now is a best time for cryptocurrencies investments because its very quietly time. Maybe i'm wrong, but i feel it like a calm before the storm. Trading will not take you a lot of free time. I would choose the pair with low capitalization,has analyzed their schedules. There's a better chance of a pump. In the first place, Glad to here that you are going back to crypto again. But there's something I'd like to tell you that We cannot assure to ourselves that in the near future we can avoid lose of money, perhaps that's impossible to be happen. i have checked my wallet and found payment of 0.00000546 BTC from address i don't know 1ViViGLEawN27xRzGrEhhYPQrZiTKvKLo. first time i receive something like this  . i did some google search ,turned out a site with name vivigle who sent it , i don't care if this just advertising , it's funny , that's really strange to tell you honestly, you might be joined before in bitcoin faucets then it just sent to your wallet, but to send it to your wallet without any reason, that's really insane and ridiculous mate. Well, if that's really true be thankful at least you experienced that kind of free bitcoin to your wallet. |

Yes I am, I'm making money even the its bear market. If you really know the flow and cycle of trading, bear or bull is not the issue for us not to earn here. As I observe actually, if you know how to read the situation in the chart graph you can able to get profit for sure, though it may not big as you expect, but you can bring home profit when you get home.

For what I like in Binance is that once the token you have in there, it is definitely sure that token will upside down, where you can apply day trade easily due to its price was too movable. And there is big possibility that the token will bounce most often I think, though I'm not often making trade in this platform. |

Well, so far I hold the tokens I had now, because some they exchange but the value was too horrible then some are still don't have exchange at the moment even so many months that has been past but unfortunately, they always said be patience. I participated in a bounty campaign for several months and now when it is actually time for distribution now they changes the rule and actually introduce new rules which lead to the disqualification of more than 95% of the bounty participants. Which is actually too painful.

I think its very difficult to determine if the ico is scam. Perhaps, if the ico have a budget for the bounty project, and they already have an exchange for their utility token, I guess that project is legit. As long as they are transparent to their community as well in terms of their updates or news. |

I think we need FRAUD LISTING thread on Bitcointalk forum to fight scammers and bounty hunters need to come together as ONE ,they are the ones Help PROMOTING all this fake projects ,they should be able to warn each other when a fake/scam project get launched on the forum and get the scam project banned off the forum ,we should all remember that the more fake projects are been launched of this forum right under our noses the more cryptocurrency will keep looking bad and NEWBIES are the victims most times ,we investors and bounty hunters have the power to make BITCOINTALK FORUM BETTER. Nowadays, its too hard to say if the ico is legit or not. Because in my experience even they most often gave a good updates to their community in most ico on which I had encountered was ended up still into bad result if it is not paused ico project, there will an extension something like that. Which will only frustration to anyone whether investors or bounty participants. |

According to ccn news it stated that the cryptocurrency market has dropped by more than $42 billion in the last three days, from $412 billion to $370 billion. The daily trading volume of the market also declined by around $3 billion, from $22 billion to $19 billion.

In the first place this is trading business industry. There are lot of investors here also there are two action that they may happen here most of the time and nothing else. And that action was Buy and Sell without this two it can't be called as Trading. So if the market is falling we knew all that at the present time sellers always won in the market but sooner or later buyers will win for sure, just be patience for now believe me on this. |

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?
If there are someone here in the forum or in the market selling their coins, it is their freedom to do it. Although, in some other point you are right, were some of them selling it because of fear. But we cannot blame them, that's why for me it is really better to hold at this point of time rather than to sell because it might be give a regret in the end once we sell it then all of a sudden bull will happen. |
