6 - AMU devices thru a Raspberry Pi running MinePeon (6-11-2013 rev) and mining with CGMiner 3.2.1, I can confirm the DLink DUB-7H powered hub does work. I DID NOT use any of the icarus options nor timing when launching CGMiner.
I can confirm that the Plugable USB 3.0 High Powered hub DOES NOT work with the AMUs.
Absolutely Beautiful!

Will this be on for a few more days?
Stick around. If a few more people drop by Canary may start up Buy #7 sooner than later.

ckolivas said some work was done to help support USB3 in 3.2.2, but it appears not to have fixed it (or at least not fixed my issues)
I wonder if drivers or leftovers from the older version miner could be causing problems.

And I was just looking forward to my other ACH's clearing soon to make it an even 10! Darn!

NOTE: this makes 8pcs total...
noted! TweeT! I mean Sweet! Anyone get these working well with CGminer? I get 10% hardware errors in 3.1.1, which is the only one I can get to work. In bitminter I get <0.5% errors, they don't run hot at all with these fans. However bitminter pool has been dead for hte majority of two days, which sucks balls, and I need a backup pool. Thoughts? "New cgminer version, 3.2.2, hopefully fixes a lot of bugs with the direct USB behaviour on these devices." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=220905.msg2490394#msg2490394However there is info there that links errors to heat. does 3.2.2 support USB 3.0 now? Looks that way. Nice of "C" to get it working and drop the info. by the forum! Let's hope someone posts results...

I used cgminer 3.2.1 to connect to btcguild, but I get this error:
[2013-06-16 14:14:28] USB init, open device failed, err -12, you need to install a Windows USB driver for - AMU device 2:5 [2013-06-16 14:14:28] Icarus detect (2:5) failed to initialise (incorrect device?)
I did install the driver CP210x_VCP_Windows on my win8 PC, and the USB erupter works fine with Bitminter using its client.
My script is: cgminer-nogpu.exe -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u xxxx -p yyyy
can someone help please.
It tells you why exactly there. You need to install a windows usb driver. As the docs say, you DO NOT USE THE FTDI DRIVER that other software uses, when using cgminer. You'll see exact instructions for it spelt out in the ASIC-README included with cgminer. Should I uninstall the driver CP210x_VCP_Windows ? How about following the docs in ASIC-README? Step by step instructions, would you like me to read them out for you? You can read them to me! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

New cgminer version, 3.2.2, hopefully fixes a lot of bugs with the direct USB behaviour on these devices.

Folks, The timer is at zero, but I'm still waiting for a payment address from friedcat for this group, so as long as you don't see a "CLOSED" message here, you have time to sneak in your orders ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) However, as soon as I have a payment address from friedcat, this will be closed. OK working on it My order will be for: MikeMike; 5; 10.2118;slow boat from china....
