This required an UNBELIEVABLE level of ignorance or wilful stupidity to achieve.
I mean, hell, the minute I hear "Random numbers over http" the deal is already broken. HTTP is not private and has no message integrity. Middleware intercepts and rewrites HTTP all the damn time. Your message could be tampered anywhere along the way!
The http service shut down in January. Blockchain noticed in June. Wouldn't you think that if your security depends on a web service staying up, you'd at least write a script that would tell you within, say, 24 hours, if it went away?
What does it take to not notice the difference between '200 OK' and '301 Service Permanently Removed' responses? Seriously! How could you possibly write an app that wouldn't notice that!!
"PRNG initialized from only two sources" -- another deal-breaker.
And then, when it tries to read one of those sources and fails, it fails SILENTLY? What the HELL?
I'm just ... I can't.... wow. I didn't think that level of ... whatever it is .... was even possible.
and this is the reason why I moved my pocket coins. (to ninki)

sadly, coinomat is not super active here on forum and just believe their bot and not checking posts at all. I just hope, that those suckers pointed by OP will be removed from their sig. campaign..
coinomat answered on twitter, so they're aware https://twitter.com/coinomat/status/610340765320019968

Why are we quoting addresses? Anyway, my address is 1HxW4MCDAr6rQizHuTgTxcx3kv1TfT1hGV ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) to make sure your address is not changed by an intruder. that's a security for you

Ponzi Down! Quick! Get ViK in the BatBitcoin phone! content was removed. anyone got an archive?

You do not have to put anything in for it to be counted. You can just hit quote and save and you get +1 in your post count. Thats not fair to constructive posters.
I agree with you, but that's how the system works at the moment. I'm quite sure coinomat is aware of this and bitsig will change the ruleset soon
|
|
|
Yup. Thats a cheat. My post count increased by +1 by quoting and posting "awesome" OP, By rights I should have 33 "Legit" posts. Not 35. Well I'll have to relook through my post history to check. I could have also "cheated" and not known it.
look, it's no cheating. we get paid for posts no less than 75 chars. quoting counts so it's fair game
|
|
|
I'm trying to recreate events to see where the error is. My initial post count is 31 Ok right here is a easy cheat. You can just quote someone and it will count towards your post count. So if you quote somebody and respond to lets use my quote for example. I'll use the word "Awesome" ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi61.tinypic.com%2F2lvolg7.jpg&t=663&c=vM4Ae31szuK_CQ) Now I'm going to quote this and have a 1 word response. By theory it will increase my post count by +1 quite obvious, since the bot is currently only raw counting words. I think that will change over time

by the way, are you sure they deserve a -ve just for that?
Yes. They're cheating money out from a signature campaign which is dishonest. by the way, are you sure they deserve a -ve just for that?
This is debatable. I would have thought a ban is more likely / justified than negative trust. What forum rule are they breaking? Spamming. Half of the posts are just crap in the giveaways threads and the others aren't up to much. Giveaways claims are not spam. Or half of the forum should be banned, including the members that create giveaway threads. If they were spam per se, the forum would have already banned all kings of giveaways, like they did with altcoin giveaways. It is a choice of signature program's managers if they accept giveaways claims or not. Stunna used to accept giveaways claims in his PD signature campaign, for example. (and less than 100 of my posts are in giveaways threads, any way). And when you say that the others don't add too much might be because you are not interested about the subjects I mostly post. Right now I post more in gambling and about soccer, in the past in speculation, and I don't see you posting about such subjects. And I purposed give back all the money I've earned with coinomat signature(or whatever amount they agree) and don't take part in any signature campaign for some weeks at least. I think a neutral feedback would be more suitable, that way everyone would know about what I did, including signature campaign managers. Even users that scammed for many BTC or defaulted big loans got their trust back to neutral when they repaired the damage they did. (but of course my opinion is biased) Well the only reason why you are returning the money is because you were caught. Are all of these accounts yours? Do you have any others? MalinKeshar is an alt of me. And Vod used to remove their preventive negative trusts about people asking for loans after some time. One might say that the only reason they haven't scammed is because they get caught even before they could do something time to save-quote https://archive.is/k4WmK

you kept money with an exchange.
first thing you learn when using crypto is to trust no one and don't keep coins with an exchange.

Sorry for the new but i am gonna stop the Qora investing fund at the moment, i need to think the bussines model, i am gonna refund shareholders, when it be ready i will compensate for disturbances, please sell it in market so i can rebuy the asset you will be compensated
pd: it is not so easy to get a five percent weekly of profit, sorry for disturbances i am working now in make it possible
thanks
hello I saw that you were online, but not answer and still not refund my qora, LOL but you try scaming ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) that happens because people belive 5% per week are possible. also people give anonymous persons money. would you do that in real life? i think not. If you search for a good qora investment, have a look at my asset. it has a easy understandable and working business model for the payouts. but... you're anonymous too. according to your logic no one should give you qora either.

Bonjour ! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) So I was really wondering how exactly websites like BTCJam or any other Peer to Peer Lending platforms protect their users ( People who lend) Because ... Let's say I gave some money (some big amounts) to someone and he is ID verified & Paypal & Social Media & Bank account verified and all those informations . and at the end he scammed me ? What BTCJam could do about it ? I don't personally think they will do anything about it since they aren't that big as a company maybe they can do something if user is on Canada , US , UK or something but what if he is somewhere else ?? the idea of giving money and don't see it once again scares me to be honest . also will they refund users ? they don't protect their users. I recommend to not use this site.

What butcoin wallet do you use? I mean blockchain, xapo or whatever. Why? Which one is the best?
for pocket money: I moved from blockchain.info to ninki (really like the security) for savings: electrum edit: don't keep coins in exchanges.
