3401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I may sound really stupid right now, but it's what I noticed on: April 26, 2023, 03:31:53 PM
I am present in crypto space years ago and I have witnessed two bear market, and I couldn't take advantage of one because of the condition that I was into at the time, but I heard about every good and bad things about crypto.

But I am curious about something and I will like to ask you old Bitcoin OG on here .

Why is it that bad news always comes in a bear market and when we are in a bull market, all bad news about Bitcoin vanished? Are they doing this on purpose? It's always the bear market, after halving everything will disappear and some bans will be lifted, and so on...

Are we been played? Are these people toying with us, knowing that crypto will work but let's scare the hell out of them and take advantage of the fear? I can't come up with anything that makes more sense than this.

Bitcoin does have a tendency to create perfect storms quite often. No idea if these events are orchestrated to help create these peaks and valleys or if it is just a side effect as people scramble to find explanations for the price movements. All that really matters is the four year cycle though. Zoom out, ignore the news, and stick to your plan.
3402  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Crypto Great Dane goes worldwide- NEW VIDEO Alpen Coin on: April 26, 2023, 03:29:23 PM
New Alpen coin video. Invested in new camera, microphone, and software. Still working all the kinks out but definitely better than it was. let me know what you think

Glad to see you sticking with this and continuing to make videos to help get the word out about physical Bitcoin collectibles. This is a hobby that could definitely use more content and awareness by the public. I’m sure most people have no idea things like this exist. My only question is… When NastyFans?

you are so late Buddy

$31,000

$30,000

Around here we use Bitstamp, not Binance.

Bitstamp and Coinbase are the only exchanges left that didn’t close my account for no reason. I suspect that regulators are doing all they can to push crypto from the reach of Americans. I look forward to the pendulum swinging the other direction when this nonsense is finally given up. Who cares though… We’re back to pushing on $30K and faster than I’d figured we would.
3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 26, 2023, 05:01:55 AM
I tried making a Moneyline parlay for all the favorites and ending their series but it's just x1.45 in total. Sadly.
Denver Nuggets versus Minnesota Timberwolves - Denver Nuggets (-10.5) I just love this Nuggets team and I know they will end it now. It will just be a matter of the spread if they can cover it.

Boston Celtics versus Atlanta Hawks‍ - Boston Celtics (-10.5) They gave one, but it's too obvious they can dominate the Hawks if they play harder. 3 times I won my Celtics bet and all the spreads were covered. I wish they will do it one more time.

Phoenix Suns versus Los Angeles Clippers - Los Angeles Clippers (10.5) - Clippers will probably lose but I want to see how far Westbrook would go trying to survive the series. The +10 should be enough to cover it if they will hustle again like in Game 4 even without Kawhi Leonard.

The money line parlay bet for all 3 favorites for today's game would have been lost already, Ice cold Trae and the Atlanta Hawk causing a major upset at the TD Garden.

Of course everyone would have expected Boston Celtics to close the series today, since the momentum was already on their side, but without Dejounte Murray, Trae Young and John Collins were able to force Celtics to a game 6, and with Atlanta Hawks having home court for game 6, this could go all the way to a potential game 7.

For the other 2 games, Clippers are already still giving the Phoenix Suns a run for their money, as Clippers are up by 9 points into half time, while it's just a 3 point difference game between Denver Nuggets and Timberwolves, this is the worse night to back the favorites to cover those big points spread of theirs.

The Clippers had an uphill battle against the Suns without Kawhi and Paul George. Westbrook was carrying their weight for a bit but just couldn’t keep it up tonight. I definitely didn’t expect the Atlanta Hawks to be the team to upset today though. I would have picked Minnesota to be the upset today and it looked like they were going to after the first quarter.
3405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 26, 2023, 04:04:13 AM
It feels a lot like the market has turned around and is back on the way up. The correction from $30K seemed necessary as you can’t go straight up without gathering an unhealthy amount of leverage. I think we’ll soon be testing the $30K level again. Still no reason to doubt ending the year above $40K.
3406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 26, 2023, 04:01:35 AM
Looking like the Boston Celtics are going to be sending the Atlanta Hawks fishing tonight. They’re up by more than 10 in the third now and Atlanta seems to be accepting their fate. First game of elimination night looks like we may have our first elimination. Next up will be the Nuggets trying to put away the Timberwolves for the season.

Yeah, it seems like that way, Celtics is leading 10 already in the 3rd quarter and it looks like the Hawks are going to fade in this series, so 4-1 for the Celtics.

Gonna be interesting game though between the Suns and the Clippers. Although LA doesn't have their 2 best players, Phoenix shouldn't underestimate them in this game. Booker should put this one away and we need another great performance from him to also end the series.

This is the NBA!! Hawks up one with 10 seconds to go.  You gotta watch the games cause you never know which ones will get ya.  Imagine atlanta wins and goes back to Atlanta for game 6.  I need to see at least one game 7.  I'm rooting foe the Hawks here even as a knicks fan.  This 4th quarter has been amazing.

That was crazy! They might be the sole survivors of the night. We’ll see. Denver managed to finish off the Timberwolves and Phoenix has a strong lead over the Clippers going into the fourth quarter. A shame the Clippers didn’t have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard but being healthy seems to be the most important trait for an NBA player these days.

3408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The America and the Crypto - Getting on wrong foot on: April 25, 2023, 02:09:11 PM
At least entities are starting to stand up to the government. Coinbase is now suing the SEC for legal clarity along with GBTC suing to become a spot ETF. It sure seems like the government is getting called out on their anti-crypto stance. I think with enough noise we may even see some turnover in some high government regulatory positions.
3409  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: April 25, 2023, 02:07:14 PM
Joe Biden has officially announced he will be running for President again. What a joke… He is clearly unfit to be President now. Besides all the scandals with selling out our country to make his family a few million bucks, molesting his daughter, or being so old he literally puts his pants on backwards, he’s just a terrible President. I don’t think our country can survive 4 more years of Biden. His first term is already going to cost America the world’s reserve currency…
3410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: April 25, 2023, 02:04:21 PM
I don’t think we’re going to hit $100K this year. There are a lot of BTC hitting the market this year and then the halfining is next year. I think it’s much more likely that the market zooms passed $100K sometime after the halfining. Maybe the end of next year. I don’t think it will stop at $100K though. 2025 will likely bring us fireworks as the price goes beyond anyone’s rational predictions.
3411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will April be a red month? on: April 25, 2023, 02:02:05 PM
It is looking like we’re in the midst of a consolidation month. Probably a good thing after the run we had. As long as we don’t dip below $25K I don’t think there’s any reason to be concerned. The market is facing some headwinds with the government sales and mtgox distributions. However, once those events are behind us it should be off to the races.
3412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 25, 2023, 01:59:49 PM
Yesterday was something else. Between Jimmy Buckets putting up 56 points to beat the Bucks and then LeBron with a 20 & 20 (22) game. Would have been great if he could have gotten a couple more assists. LeBron was going crazy at center… He was blocking everything.

Three elimination games today. Should be an exciting day of basketball.
3413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Twitter revenue sharing with content creators on: April 24, 2023, 05:09:46 PM
This is another hint that Elon musk is not in a hurry to recover all that money he gave for Twitter. Of course, I cannot argue against creators getting some of money so they can continue to develop their talent.

It is a good first step. I personally have friends on Twitter who unfortunateky have suffered from being shadow banned, so their content cannot be seen as much as they would like.  Waiting for Elon to revoke shadowbanning, since it goes directly against he wants Twitter to be.  Tongue

Elon claims that the shadowbanning is no longer a thing.

If your friend wants to have more reach, have them sign up for Twitter Blue. I went from getting a couple likes per post to getting a couple hundred likes after signing up. Social media has never been something I cared about, but I’m glad to participate in what Elon is trying to do and the evidence it’s working is crystal clear.

Looking forward to the Lakers game tonight. Dillon Brooks gets to feel what it’s like to have all eyes on him. Hopefully for his sake he doesn’t get demolished again. This is the sort of series that changes a career path. Mentally, I’m not sure if Brooks has what it takes to recover from all the embarrassment headed his way.
3415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BRICS is a concern for all on: April 24, 2023, 05:05:05 PM
I think people might be over-estimating the capacity BRICS have to become a new weight in the balance of power around the world. There are still many things they have to solve so they can become more efficient in achieving mutual economic objectives.

Russia needs to stop the war in Ukraine and renegotiate their access to the markets, otherwise the BRICS members could be affected in the future by the interest on the United States on Russia.

China and India are currently having political confrontations over some territory in the north of India. There has been reports of possible military confrontations, if I recall correctly.

Brazil is very close to the USA and within it's sphere of influence, which could be taken advantage of to fracture the alliance in the long term.

If BRICS wants to grow, they need to tackle those issues and work to include more countries in their block.

Don’t underestimate the incompetence of our current leadership. Biden is going to cost America its global reserve currency status and BRICS are growing extremely fast. It’s clear that China will be next to decide the world’s reserve currency and America is about to take a nosedive not seen since its founding. BRICS is on the rise. America is on the decline and we have woke politics and fearful leadership to thank for it.
3416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 24, 2023, 04:22:15 AM
Anthony Edwards absolutely carrying the Timberwolves on his back right now. The nuggets just won’t go away. Looks like he might have sealed the victory for them with only a few seconds left and a 4 point lead. The Nuggets coming back at the last second time and time again has made this an exciting game…
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 23, 2023, 11:46:29 PM
^ That was a close game. The Kings almost had it. If they go up 3-1 I think they beat the Warriors. As it stands now the Warriors still have to win a game in Sacramento, but this kept them alive. Harrison Barnes almost had his moment against his former team at the end. If he makes that three point shot at the buzzer the Kings fans would have lost their minds.
3418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 23, 2023, 06:55:44 PM
Dillon Brooks called for the Flagrant Foul 2 and was ejected from the game. The same as what James Harden did back at Brooklyn where he hit the balls of the defender, this time Brooks hit Lebron's important eggs too.  Grin Well, that's a good way to stop him from making 40 points in a game but in exchange for him being thrown out and not helping his teammates.
Ja Morant exploded in the 4th quarter but not enough to bring them back closer to tying or winning the game.

Lakers won!
Lebron James had 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. But the most effective player was Austin Reaves, he definitely played like it was a championship game hustling in both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. 13/6/2 It cannot be seen on paper but he did great today.

Yeah, we've seen the Austin Reaves is really a good catch for the Lakers this season. And almost all of there new players are contributing in this series against Memphis. Beasley though, seems to be off again although he has just been given a few minutes to play in this series.

AD another double double, he make it tonight for game 2 lackluster performance.

And I really like how Lebron takes the tempo in the 4th when they still have that lead and not allow Ja Morant to take over the game. Although Ja exploded with 45 points.

They still should give Beasley enough minutes per game to keep him heated as he is more likely to shut down if he can't get any enough minutes just because of his recent stats, that kind of trade is not that risky because the other players are doing everything they can. They just need to do some sacrifice for Beasley so that he can be more useful if they can reach further this playoffs season.

Austin Reaves though, this kid is so lowkey and underrated but he's very useful in both ends and I'd be upset if the Lakers will be cheap on him again because he deserved to have at least $50 to $60 Million 4-year contract regardless of whatever be the result of their campaign this post season. They are already lucky to have him in the team.

Rui is outplaying Beasley though and so is Austin Reaves. I’m not sure they have the spare minutes to give him.

One thing is for sure. Dillon Brooks came at the King and missed. A big no-no. I’m also not sure that by poking the bear he meant he was going to hit him in the nuts, but I guess when desperation sets in and egos are involved people do some crazy things…
3419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 23, 2023, 04:51:03 AM
Not the way I thought this fight would go. I thought Garcia would be able to get the better of Tank but he didn’t seem to be able to use his advantages to his benefit. I wonder if they really did sign contracts to bet the entire purse or what is going to happen with that drama now.
3420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 23, 2023, 04:48:03 AM
That was a great game. Dillon Brooks taking after Draymond Green and getting ejected for hitting LeBron in the nuts. I wonder if he’ll be out for the next game as well. That first quarter was crazy. LeBron didn’t get his 40 but he did get a win. Anthony Davis looked like the player he could be. If he can keep that up then the Lakers will have a shot at it.
