I believe that Elon Musk had more power to influence the cryptocurrency market before. However after his comments were deemed negative towards bitcoin then the number of people who believe in him may have decreased so significantly that lately people are more likely to ignore him than believe. He is an investor and entrepreneur, and I think he really knows what he has to do to win his game while we don't have to believe in anything he does as much as we can.

Do not gamble when you are emotional because there is a possibility that you cannot control your gambling and it will have a bad impact on your finance. At least that's the advice I've read quite often in response to the OP's statement.

I think we need luck when gambling in any situation. It is possible that you can win a bet when you are not serious about gambling by chance or luck. I won't blame anyone why they should buy and why they should sell because their bitcoin are their own responsibility. OP, I feel if the benchmark of forum user base is seen from the cycle of senders and recipients of merit then I'm not sure it will be accurate enough because many forum users ignore the merit system and even they are not interested in getting involved as senders nor do they want to receive if we pay attention to the quality of their post. There are thousand of post on cryptocurrency alternative discussion board that do not meet quality standard and most of the people involved are bounty hunter. They're still active, but don't appear to be users interested in engaging either as senders or recipients of merit. OP, as far as I know you can earn positive trust (+1 and so on) if you have successfully traded goods or services with one or many forum users smoothly. In addition, you can also get it from a loan process that runs smoothly without problem (at least you must have a full member+ rank) from one or more different users and you can also get it if you are quite successful and proven to be able to contribute to the forum with quality post. It's basically the OP's right to lock or leave it unlocked, but if it has turned into a hotbed of spammers then mods can act to lock it.

I don't create many thread, but I have a habit of locking thread once I get some answers that I can consider when I have something to ask. As for the discussion thread, I can leave it open a little longer until it reach a few page with controls. I mean I can report a post for deletion if it's a non-constructive post and is categorized as a spam post in a thread that I didn't self-moderate.
