3401  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: passphrase.io - zero knowledge privacy notepad - NEW SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS on: September 24, 2016, 06:31:03 AM
If encryption were done server-side, then I (website owner) would be able to read the contents of every notepad, which would defeat the whole purpose.  You don't own your bitcoin unless you control the private keys, and your data is not private unless you encrypt it.
You got a point but the encryption takes place on the server side ,isn't it ? I upload my content, use one of the algorithms that "YOU" have implemented on the website to store the encrypted data. Now,since you have implemented the code, only you would know if it actually looks like what it is or data is being available at the back-end.
3402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: September 24, 2016, 06:23:15 AM
here is satoshi picture:
No that's not satoshi, satoshi is not suppose to be a big fat nerd.He is suppose to be Japanese Ninja with mysterious Muaithai skills. If he ever reveals himself,he would surely post a shirtless picture for the next Forbes magazine.

Undoubtedly : https://www.directbet.eu/

Anonymous,Instant processing and best odds in the industry. The next follow up could be https://nitrogensports.eu/ .
Refrain from trying out sportsbet.io since they're run by a fraud agency with multiple scam accusations.
3404  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Scam? on: September 24, 2016, 06:02:56 AM
I agree that such wallets like Xapo kills bitcoin freedom. I don't sure if we can cal them as wallet, because we don't have control of our bitcoins, we can only trust or not in service. But many users using Xapo to save money, because Xapo hsve free transactions. And it's simple and easy to use, this is the reason why people choosing online wallets.
They don't kill the freedom, logically your transactions are still anonymous and you get you spend them however you want to.It's just that you are not sure if you actually own the wallet.Keeping the transactions free is just to keep users hooked on to their service which one shouldn't.They get control over everyone's private key anyway.
3405  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: September 23, 2016, 06:55:09 PM
Considering this thread was made in 2015,I could say a lot has changed since then. You could visit the Indian exchange section of LocalBitcoins and see that it's almost available with buyers/sellers.I agree it hasn't reached to a point where the general public understands what bitcoin is,but certainly a lot of young entreprenurs are coming up with new ventures promoting Bitcoins in India.

Being a regular visitor to India, I have used Localbitcoins in that country quite a few times. Some of the traders are quite good and well mannered. But there are some who always try to cheat. I faced issues in my trade 2-3 times. Although I got my coins back after disputing the trade, these incidents left a very bad taste. Never faced similar issues in my country.
Why does your English seem like you're an Indian ? Tongue You don't have to be in this country to use Localbitcoins ,you could sit in China and trade with a person sitting in India through localbitcoins.I doubt you have ever used it...Or you could just admit you're an Indian.

With the on-going phishing hacks, you sure you're actually chatting with the zapo officials and not imposters ? Do verify the sources.I doubt Xapo will pull any scams unless you have faked documents or verification.
3408  Economy / Services / Re: Instagram likes (Real people not bot) vouch available inside... on: September 23, 2016, 05:41:27 PM
Expensive service. You could get about 10k likes for as cheap as $5.You're saying the likes won't drop and are from real people, what like exchange platform do you use ? I will be interested in the vouches though.Could judge the service depending on the type of likes I get.Only if you assure no bots at all.
3409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: September 23, 2016, 05:34:13 PM
no body controls it because satoshi made it fully open source and all the transactions are directly stored into the bitcoin netwok and the most common question with this is about blockchain.let me tell you bitcoin is not blockchain. that is a explorer site where everyone can see each others btc related transavtions and balance and so on
While I feel sorry for your over-confidence,I like your post because it still makes some sense or shows that you know what you're talking about unlike other posters.Mate, blockchain is NOT blockchain.info.It's a public ledger of all bitcoin transactions executed.Think of it as "blocks" chained together. On the other side, blockchain.info is a web based wallet and a block explorer.Precisely, gives you details about the transactions.

Premier League week 6 predictions:

Liverpool vs Hull City --> Liverpool wins
Man United vs Leicester --> Man United wins
Swansea vs Man City --> Man City wins

Parlay with all 3 matches

I might be agree with the first and the third prediction that you listed there however mancehster united might not win against leicester. Leicester is a tough team and manchester united wont be able to beat them easily as what you have expected so taking a draw for this match or handicap should be better
Manchester would beat Leicester with the following possibilities

->Match is on their home ground.
->They're on a losing streak,really.
->Leicester,on the other hand are playing equally bad at the league. You could not expect anythin but the best of both the teams in this match.

Big match on Manchester United vs Leicester City match. Manchester United at low performance and Leicester on top performance. It will be a good match to watch. I pick Man United ML.
Quote 1 : Those are obvious wins.No rocket science involved in that prediction.Look at the odds, useless.Bet on total number of goals instead.

Quote 2 : Why would you bet on ManU if according to you they're at low performance ?MANU must win this match and they will.

The problem is JavaScript using in the Web browser. If you do not use Java, then you can not use notepad. For security reasons it is much better not to use Java.  Grin

I advise us not to confuse JavaScript with Java, though. Java was removed from browsers a very long time ago while JavaScript is still widely used in stable projects. Unless you know what you are doing, disabling JavaScript is advised, but the nature of the JavaScript that web sites use is that the script runs on client side so it is possible to white-box analyze it in a secure environment and if you find it safe, you may enable JavaScript for that site. Using JavaScript is not a Devil's tool nowadays!
It could still be used as a lethal tool to spoof or manipulate anything you want. For example, you might have played google's offline game when your Internet goes down.By running a simple script in the browser, you can hack that game to score unlimited points. That's where the client side javascript is use for devil stuff. This is just an example of what you can with the script on the client side.I believe, the complications or encrypting the data should be left to the back-end only.
3413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Phishing : The Next Wave -Open Dns on: September 23, 2016, 05:07:45 PM
Its really smart to see Coinbase register domains like co-inbase.com
Tons of people get scammed by a simple typo, visiting a phishing site cloned to look like the real site.
This is a smart business strategy that any big website should be doing. Very easy to protect their customers for a few dollars a month by registering the domain and re-directing to the main website when someone makes a typo.
I agree.Sad part is,even though the phishing websites are reported everyday, the official businesses don't take them off the web.I've reported blockchain.info's phishing links like 10 times to their support, sadly nothing was done about it.Even after 3 months, the domains are still live.

What do you guys think about this parley ?

I know it's a risk but totally worth a try.I'm quite sketchy about Stoke City and Everton as winners,if someone could give advice's to make this parley better, they're most welcomed! I'm assuming draw is not an option as the teams are certainly not on the same pages when it comes to defenses.
3415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Phishing : The Next Wave -Open Dns on: September 22, 2016, 05:55:38 PM
This is a growing issue.  Sad

I have been getting some attempts that look more like spearfishing than random mass emailing operations. Keep your coins tight brothers!
Correct. The reason I posted the topic is to make people aware of this chart. You can see how the sequences of events have taken a turn around in the same period of time.Security is a much ignored topic with rising bitcoins usage.I still see a lot of members having their wallets and savings stored on exchanges and third party websites.Social awareness is equally needed.

3416  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin deposit detection without bitcoind? on: September 22, 2016, 05:50:45 PM
How about using a free 3rd party service? For example, blockchain.info has their free API to receive payments.
Just posting here for the information ->

Blockchain.info does not allow the full API access to gambling websites ,which is true in OP's case.
->Blockchain.info rejects all the remote procedure calls from unknown sources (as per their recent update)

->You may be tracked if you are given the full api access through the secret key. They would know the exact amounts deposited through your addresses.

->Due to following security issues,I'd not advise anyone to use their API for commercial business.Write your procedures from scratch.
3417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 05:45:45 PM
Doubling bitcoin is the same as asking how to double my 100 dollars. You work for it till you have double the amount there's no one push button to double it. Do what you were doing or trade for example until you reach desired amount.

There is no one magic button alright. But some people are earning faster than others. Maybe, that is what the OP wanted to know, how to hasten the earning. Like will you earn faster trading or investing or just working hard or maybe the mix of the three.
The terms "trading" and "investment" have become a social stigma on this forum.Everyone seem to be using it wherever they want to without understanding the context they're referring to.I don't understand why everyone is quite obsessed about "doubling" their coins ? I mean you could take baby steps and try to grow your coins by 10% in the safest possible way ?

3419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet in bank? on: September 22, 2016, 05:33:35 PM
Do you think that one day you could open Bitcoin wallet in your bank, along with your.ordinary bank account? And will banks have their own wallets? Or maybe they already have? There are some rumors that some banks are preparing themselfes to addopt the Bitcoin and give it to their clients as a new service?
Firstly, the concept of having a bank is really against the principles of bitcoin.Secondly,if a bank is in control of your wallet, how's that "your wallet" again ? Technically, that's centralizing the chain.I could further disagree with every line in the post which has the term "Bank" in it.The reasons are too detailed to explain in one post. The rumors you're hearing maybe true but that is not bitcoin,it will be a centralized digital currency and the transactions won't be open to public but the bank authorities.
3420  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SIGNS OF SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: September 17, 2016, 10:44:47 AM
If the owner of the signature campaign isn't reputable, we should check whether or not the campaign has a campaign manager and/or escrow. Although, if the site that is being advertised is a scam, we shouldn't advertise it.
Nobody wants to promote scam or ponzi sites but the problem is you dont know which site turn scam or ponzi. There are instanves where some so called reputed sites run away with members money.

You could make out ponzi sites by looking at their business model. Not a difficult task for an experienced bitcointalk member.Unfortunately not many are bothered about this forum or the newbies around,if they're getting paid for their signatures, they wouldn't mind advertising child porn.Harsh truth, digest it!
