No,you don't have to,the last I checked.Like I said,I was able to sign a message without importing an address.
Here's how you do it :
1-Go to Settings
2-Click Addresses
3-On the right hand side of the address you wish to sign a message from has "More Options ->Click ->Sign Message"
4-I checked it just now and it's working.

According to their official post : https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/210353833-What-is-message-signing-and-how-can-I-do-that- it's possible for only imported addresses.However,I'm still able to sign messages from the original address on blockchain.info.Follow the same steps mentioned in the link above.

Based on the given information,I could figure out the scammer is from India and I have managed to find their name and service provider which would be enough to track them down using help from the Police.

Wait,why didn't the accused care about their account when they paid the loan ? I;ll tell you why,because their alt accounts.

The question isn't about fulfilling loan requests but giving life for such scammers on the forum.Since the lenders are getting heavy interests they don't care about scammers or whatever but they don't know their feedbacks can be used to take higher loans or scam people in general.
