3421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining - why? on: June 02, 2020, 07:34:33 AM
I used genesis cloud mining company in the past and after few weeks I stopped using due to few bad reviews about them, later genesis website stop working
Absolutely they are the Ponzi pyramid payout scheme. I heard about them before but I already fooled by this cloud mining investment (I forgot the name)so they will never fool me again. The money that you invested and paid for their contract will be paid back to you in a small amount daily as your payout and that is a drip-fed.

Instead of investing in paid contracts in cloud mining why not you didn't buy your own mining rigs and operate your own. And don't be fooled on the cloud mining companies without any proof of actually owning any hardware. Probably they also claiming mining equipment photos/images that they don't have.
3422  Economy / Gambling / Re: btb88.com Casino & Sportsbook |Licensed & Regulated|Certified Fair|Fast Payout on: June 01, 2020, 10:53:10 AM
do you have a country restriction on your site?
It looks like we're the same problem but upon reading on the first page my country belongs to the restriction of this gambling site.

I have included the below list of countries that we do accept players from.

China Albania Algeria Andorra Anguilla Antigua and Barbuda Armenia Austria Bahrain Barbados Belarus Belize Benin Bermuda Bhutan Bolivia Brazil Brunei Brunei Darussalam Burkina Faso Cote d'Ivoire Canada Cape Verde Chile Colombia Cook Islands Costa Rica Cuba Djibouti Dominica Dominican Republic Ecuador Egypt El Salvador Falkland Islands Fiji Finland Gabon Gambia Georgia Grenada Guyana Hondura India Indonesia Isle fo Man Jamaica Jordan Kazakhstan Korea, South Kuwait Kyrgystan Lao PDR Latvia Lesotho Liberia Liechtenstein Lithuania Luxembourg Macau, China Malawi Malaysia Maldives Mali Marshall Islands Mauritius Mexico Micronesia Moldova Monaco Montenegro Montserrat Morocco Myanmar Namibia Nauru New Zealand Nigeria Niue Norforlk Island North Macedonia Norway Oman Palau Papua New Guinea Paraguay Peru Pitcain Puerto Rico Qatar Russian Federation Rwanda Saint Helena Saint Kitts Sant Lucia Saint Vincent Samoa San Marino Sao Tome and Principe Senegal Seychelles Sierra Leone Slovenia Solomon Islands Suriname Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands Swaziland Tanzania Thailand Togo Tokelau Tonga Turks and Caicos Islands Tuvalu Ukraine United Arab Emirates Uruguay Vietnam Western Sahara Zambia

I didn't see that my country (Philippines) has been belong to that restriction list but I still can't open the site and why there are too many countries that restricted?

I want to find in the FAQ on the site but unfortunately, I can't open it.

Edited: Oops! sorry I didn't know that the above list is that the allowed countries, not the restricted one.

3423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Voided Bets: Can a betting site void a game which is accepted by the league? on: June 01, 2020, 10:38:16 AM
I believe it's fair for both parties and am fine with it.
I tend to agree with this, that really happens most of the time to those who have intermittent internet connection though betting can be voided due to system glitch and probably the by the time they were able to receive the bet has already lapsed on their given betting period. It could be really frustrating especially when you have tried betting on the winning party.

IMO, we can't blame the site or the judges if there is any for they have also have protocols that they need to follow from their TOS. I only suggest that when betting or before we place our bet into bookmaker on a certain online casino we better consider first the strength of internet connection and if possible try to bet earlier so you may know if your wager has been accepted or not. If the same instance would happen again try to let it go and move on to the next game beside you didn't lose on the game either.

has the forum changed you so far? -i believe it has-
Yes, there's a LOT of changes.
And comment above was right before. I'd also been criticized before here and called a "shitposter" but despite discouraging my self of what they'd said it makes my mind boosted to convinced work hard and showing them what I am. Yes, I admitted that I'd a problem before with my grammar or poor in English writing skills but I slowly sharpened my skills even though it isn't perfect but at least they will understand now compared before. We're very lucky that we're here because we've learned a lot not only related to crypto.

Aside from reading, when you engaged topic see to it that your reply isn't redundant and avoid mega spam thread.

Anyway, keep up the good work OP and keep encouraging those newbies to contribute something good in the forum. Just saying! Wink
3425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let me introduce some indicators that I know. on: May 31, 2020, 12:10:49 PM
I appreciate the effort in elaborating on each of the indicators. However, if I may suggest that you also specify on how traders can use it that may help newbies on which indicator can be useful to them. I only use one among the indicators you have listed and that is by the chart for it shows bot short time and long time analysis that also provides that gives an indication on when is the best time for me to do my trading. Probably some could find it difficult to interpret and understand that is exactly my reason for suggesting that on your thread to discuss as well how each indicator can be used by traders.

For me, there are:
  • Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD)
  • Ichimoku Cloud (Cloud)
  • Fibonacci Retracement (Fibs)
  • Relative Strength Index (RSI)
  • Volume
We can apply Technical analysis (TA) in any of them.
3426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does pure price action strategy (NO INDICATOR) work for cryptocurrency trading? on: May 31, 2020, 11:44:47 AM
Do you think trading pure price action without indicator works on the crypto market?
It works perfectly as long as you can afford it
I tend to agree with this.
Pure price action with no indicators will work on traders as it is the basic strategy for traders and applicable for newbies or even to the pro traders only if they want to. Pro traders most of the time use a different approach but I'm pretty sure they have used this action for once.

Risk management sometimes is hard to handle for trading in cryptocurrency is always unpredictive and the pure price action would be your best tool to survive in crypto space whether a pro or a newbie but no one can still conclude on the event that may occur afterward and that makes us all hold in our luck only in IMO.
3427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The #1 reason traders find it hard to follow their risk management plan. on: May 31, 2020, 11:06:27 AM
snipped-
Greedy is the biggest problem that every trader face, and even the pro trader will have the same problem.
You're probably referring to the emotional aspect of being impulsive and not greediness for it's our nature to have a sudden and unreflective urge to act if we find things in an instant is favorable to us without any second thought. Though I may say that greediness is the main element or the endmost factor that a trader loses their risk management but there are still some reasons why it always happens like being impulsive and having a less strategic plan that gives them a wrong response to any sudden changes on the market.

In the end risk management in trading can be considered as the best tool and could be the worse depending on how we handle it.
3428  Economy / Economics / Re: EU has joined in with 826bn. Globally over 10tn has been printed on: May 31, 2020, 10:27:22 AM
I don't see any direct correlation of Bitcoin to the 826 billion euros recovery plan though, as experts said that Bitcoin has shown stability on its value in a short span of time it only means that most of them are now seeing the advantages of Bitcoin and how it can be useful in the economy in times of crisis like this pandemic.

In regards to the inflation and unemployment rate, we can't really avoid that for every economy around the globe are severely ill right now and the only hopes that every government has is through debt. However, we probably also suffer from it but instead of witnessing our economy die then better to take advantage of these loans and we all just need to work hard and strive for the recovery of our economy. Someday, all countries in the world should really work hand in hand regardless if there's any hidden agenda by some but that will make it all countries get unified to raise from the worse situation brought by the pandemic.
3429  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: JPMorgan to Pay $2.5 Million to Settle Lawsuit for Overcharging Crypto Fees on: May 31, 2020, 09:53:16 AM
My insight into this topic is, JP Morgan has really a hidden agenda for making those "Bitcoin purchases" into "cash advances" for they will create their own JPM Coin and, no wonder they are now saying that Bitcoin is a fraud because it will be hard for them to defeat it in competition and it will be their strategy to censure or discredit Bitcoin into public instead to divert people attention to their own JPM Coins.

Though it might not be a huge amount for the plaintiffs it is still good news to everyone that Bitcoin could still gain justice against huge banking companies like JP Morgan. With regards to Goldman & Sachs surely whatever they said about Bitcoin it is only because of their prejudice that is only favorable to the business sector of the society. IMO
3430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Now Says Bitcoin (BTC) Is Significantly Undervalued (Huge Turn around) on: May 30, 2020, 09:33:02 AM
IMO, JP Morgan sees Bitcoin as a competitor for its decentralized value which if global adoption happen it can definitely shut down their business. I'm pretty sure that they have Bitcoin as well but we just need to understand them that they are only saying these things maybe because they need to hold on the business protocol.

In the future it will be chaotic to bank industries if people continue to adopt and embrace Bitcoin for their daily transaction for everyone will start pulling out their savings in the bank and invest it in Bitcoin instead and no bank will never want that to happen, this could be the reason they are telling this rubbish statement.
3431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pros and Cons on: May 30, 2020, 09:04:23 AM
There are lots of advantages that Bitcoin can offer to the people and there are also disadvantages that make people doubt investing in Bitcoin.
Probably all had been mentioned above of my post but Bitcoin's pros and cons are this all about.

  • Pro = decentralization, will be the main advantage of Bitcoin for it will give everyone the freedom from bank authority and no government may have full control over it.
  • Con = volatility for there is no way to anyone in predicting the Bitcoins stability in our current situation like this pandemic and global adoption.

In the end, it still depends on us how we weigh these pros and cons that will give as a full concept and perception about Bitcoin.
3432  Economy / Economics / Re: Highly educated scammer hate bitcoin! on: May 30, 2020, 08:36:04 AM
-snip- And not investing in crypto and hating bitcoins is also one of those bad decisions which most people have made today and they will regret this decision once the bitcoin price will becone beyond their reach to buy and invest. Most of the economists are not recommending people to invest in bitcoin because the general public won't be able to handle the pumps and dumps of the market.
People who hate bitcoin and don't want to know about cryptocurrency are indeed very unlucky people by choosing bad decisions.
We're all entitled to our own decision and regardless of the outcome it will be in our hand how we should handle it and we can't blame those people who hate Bitcoin for they lack knowledge about it and there's a big chance that their decisions are being influenced by someone that they really trust.

We can't insist on everyone to embrace Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency adaption, we can't give any assurance as well to them that there will be no downturn in bitcoin space. However, the only thing we can assure for now is that if global adoption happens we are already far beyond them and they miss so much time and opportunities to have an early growth in Bitcoin.
3433  Economy / Economics / Re: White House won’t be releasing the formal economic projections (not a good sign) on: May 29, 2020, 10:57:38 AM
IMO, as what I've seen as the probable cause of the white house government (even though ain't from the US) for not issuing a formal economic projection. This is due to the country's economic downturn. As we all know that the Coronavirus pandemic had a huge impact on the country's economy, they did this because they also didn't want to cause further panic to anyone in the US.

Today many people are still affected by the problem caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and many are still unable to recover from its effects. We admit that things have not been easy for us because of the events and causes of this pandemic so, this is one of the reasons why I see that the white house taking steps to prevent the release of formal economic projections.

I wore now the newly updated signature.
3435  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program Signature Campaign - Give Hope To Everyone... on: May 29, 2020, 04:27:47 AM
Just a Suggestion, I think we should not use all the money and reserve some of it so we can also do things in some other times.
I tend to agree on this suggestion at least 20-25% of overall money has been collected will put into a reservation for other purposes at other times.

The division of the total balance can be divided into three parts
  • Luzon
  • Visayas
  • Mindanao
IMO, I suggest not to divide into an equal part in each of them, because Luzon has more populations than the Visayas or in the Mindanao and I think it would be better if not only 1 orphanage will be given such donation in Luzon. Upon searching on google there are 6 orphanages located in Luzon that have remained open others are temporarily close. However, that is a good proposal and I'm willing to support you this if you needed me. Wink

Anyway, a BIG thanks to the anonymous donator, God bless you.
3436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 28, 2020, 01:17:44 PM
Im really excited if it does happen and NBA announced that they will resume basketball games this July.
July? So meaning we need to wait one more month to witness the start of NBA again?
Any supported link of this announcements as proof?

We all know about Corona Virus Pandemic. It's in this situation that a pandemic is spreading not only in our country but also around the world. We're all looking forward to watching again and betting on our favorite sports. Although I'm excited to be watching sports again and betting who will win. Just like Boxing, NBA, and PBL because like you. I'm also one of the betters in these sports. So with the news of the reopening of sports, I was overjoyed.

3439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: May 28, 2020, 09:27:26 AM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
I'm sorry for what happened to you. Maybe now you can be honest with what happened to you, but despite what you have done, it is also good because you have learned something. Don't trust and just invest because some people can't be trusted especially when money is being talked about. Because there are people who are willing to do everything even to cheat other people just to make money regardless of whether it is from the bad or not.

I know you have learned something from what happened to you and hope you can use it to recover and for all that you lost. I hope you know you'll recover and probably more than what you'd lost.
3440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Glad to be part of BTC Talk I hope I am not late to the party on: May 28, 2020, 07:49:17 AM
There are a lot of ways to gain or earn Bitcoin aside from the three that the OP mentioned which couldn't be possibly made by him or anyone else if ever, then you can even use your service to anyone and ask Bitcoins for payment through posting on this board, Services for sure you'll be profitable in this manner.

Though you came in late in on this Bitcoin forum community, but it wouldn't be a reason for you to prosper in the crypto world for there are lots of opportunities that you probably encounter and all you need to do is be mindful and have an eye on it back when the price of Bitcoin was low as it was before may not be possible anymore just try to be more strategic and learn the basic knowledge of Bitcoin trading then you'll be rich here one day. But use this Bitcoin forum to gain knowledge than aiming for a profit.

Bitcoin mining may not be as easy as before but with all the types of equipment and resources that you have which I think you do may still be profitable on your part. After Bitcoin halving successfully occurred, some miners upgraded their mining machine and that is another cost to them.
