I thought that we can merit a post if they find that your post is useful and sometimes a hilarious one. I think its just a Filipino culture to show some kind of appreciation

If you can see the posts of other members here in our local and in the other section outside the local that has merits, you will know what you are going to post. Kung mapapansin mo yung post nila, they are just being honest and true to their reply thus resulting in a very useful and constructive discussion. In the other way around, pwede ka naman magpost about bitcoin topics if you want to, but remember to avoid attempting plagiarizing. Magbasa ka lang at malilinawan ka din kung ano yung dapat mong gawin.

Absolutely, formula ko para magkaroon ng magandang discussion itong forum natin. If we can encourage high rank members of our time to apply as a merit source to our local section, more low rank members will be encouraged to post in a high quality, thus resulting of a more sincere discussion.

I am sure that if this "mention" will be implemented in the new forum, the merit farmers/abusers/, bitcointalk account sellers, spammers, scammers and alts will be the first people who will experience this.   So that, they still have the chance to defend themselves against their accusations.

You've reach the appropriate rank to be able to post picture. Newbie is the only rank that are not able to post images. They need to be a copper member in order to do that.

Sometimes, we can easily determine if the website is phishing when it shows that it is not secured and does not show any https in the url.

There is nothing much we can do here. We cannot force them to give their sMerits for the sake of low ranked members. There are only few ways to get things done and resolve these merit issues.
1. Assign merit sources to our local/ for those established members in our local forun apply as a merit source. Hindi sapilitan ang merit, kung ano lang yung madaanan nilang post na maganda okay na yun.

2. I think na iactivate na ang decaying ng sMerit. Kapag hindi nagamit / inactive there is penalty. Mabilis din natin malalaman kung sino talaga ang nag merit hoarding kung hindi sila nag iingat.

Actually may point  naman itong sinabi niya, kaya lang naman puro merit at forum rules ang laging discussion kasi ang mga tao hindi pa makamoved on sa merit system. More and more people are getting aware to the merit system, merit system is now gaining an exposure that is why there is an increase of people who are talking about merit. Marami silang nakikitang pros and cons, at kailangang iimprove sa merit system, kaya hindi natatapos ang spoonfeeding about merit.

Wala naman matutulong yung sMerit nila sa kanila, dapat implement na ni theymos yung decaying of sMerit, mas mabilis natin malalaman kung sino yung may mga shitposter na may altaccount. Hindi naman ako galit sa mga may alts pero ang akin lang eh nagmultiply ang mga shitposters, imagine of you have tons of alts, most likely you also have tons of shipost lol. Alts defeat the entire purpose of the forum there is not real discussion occurs.

To simply understand how stakes are being calculated in a bounty program, this is my observation whenever I finish the bounty campaign.

In a Bounty Campaign, you will find that there is an overall number of token allocated in whole bounty campaign. There is also a specific number of token or Bounty Pool in Twitter, Facebook, Media and Creation, Reddit Telegram, Signature and Airdrop as well.

For example, let's say that you enrolled in Signature Campaign, and the bounty pool is  1,000,000 tokens. These  1,000,000 tokens are intended only for Signature Campaign Participants to be distributed after the all the stakes has been summed up.

For the calculation of the stakes, lets say for example that you are a Member and the stake that will be given to you every week is 0.75. You have been in the Signature Campaign for about 5 weeks and the Bounty Manger (BM) will total your stakes. Lets do the math.

0.75 x 5 weeks = 3.75 stakes

When the Bounty ends and there is a total of 1000 stakes earned by the Signature Bounty participants.This is the stake calculation

Bounty Pool / Total no. of stakes earned by the participants = x number of tokens per stake. Lets do the substitution.

1,000,000/ 1000 = 1000 tokens/ stake

You have 3.75 stakes and it is equivalent to 3,750 tokens..

Are these posts will going to receive merits if their topic has been moved in meta subforum or is it appropriate to create a new section to be more visible.

Honestly, may mga kilala ako na high quality poster, they deserve merits if I see that they can contribute in the community, well ang target ko lang namam eh mga newbie hanggang hero members. Legendaries do not need merits anymore.

Agreed, dapat naman talaga sa mga deserving lang. Of couse it is not appropriate to merit those people who only knows how to shipost.

Maganda kasi yung suggestion ni OP sa thread, parang mag assign ng merit source sa local or bawat section ng forum, para mataas na makadaan siya sa mga good poster sure yun, magiging centralized ang merit system.

Hello fellow Filipinos! I want you to review this thread created by other member here in the forum. And I think that we can learn about their discussion about the merit system. This is a very worth sharing posts.

If Im not mistaken, finaleshot posted a topic about our Local Section Merit Distribution rank. Alam ko naman na lahat gusto tumaas ang rank natin, at nakikita ko na maraming naman na good poster sa local natin, ang kulang lang ay mga merit sources at mga higher ranks na nagbibigay ng merit.

Sobrang taas ng specification natin pagdating sa pagbibigay ng merit, in effect nag stay lang ang smerit natin sa atjng mga account at wala naman tayong napapala doon actually.

Sabi sa thread na dapat magkaroon tayo ng mga merit sources na intended lang for our local section, para magbigay merit sa mga kabayan natin. Mas okay sana kung pilipino din para nagkakaroon ng sincere discussion at naiintindihan.

Hindi po ako nagrereklamo sa merit system, actually pabor pa nga ako dito. Napakaling tulong talaga nito, merit system maintains the usefulness of the forum. Sa mha hindi pa pabor, time will come marerealize niyo din kapag nakatanggap kayo first merits niyo. You feel great and you cant resist the feeling that you are being apppreciated in the forum

This is the reality sa local forum natin, I dont know why filipinos are lazy to post a constructive and useful content for everyone. Kaya nababansagan ang mga Pilipino na 3rd World County shitposter tayo eh kasi our post does not making any sense even worse kapag tumingin ka ng profile Nila, their post history is blooming with social media bounty reports lol.

I know lots of us are in need but please be considerate kung saan nanggagaling ang mga sahod natin. We should not take advantage of the forum, we should also take care of it as we are taking care of our account. Kung maaari nga gamitin ang

Wag snob sa pagbibigay ng merit kung ang post naman ay deserving at nakatulong sayo. Soon magdedecay din iyan. Dont be aftaid to help other people especially those newbies and Jr.members that has the potential to grow or promoted.
