3421  Other / Meta / Re: How to unfollow a thread on: July 24, 2014, 09:38:55 PM
Thanks for the tip about deleting my posts in that thread.  Could be a ball ache, but I think there's one or two threads where I've only got one or two posts in there anyway.  And I'm really tired of seeing that thread bump. Smiley

Also, thanks for the pointer about the watchlist.  I guess I haven't really explored everything the forum software has to offer.
3422  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinAverage.com - bitcoin price index on: July 24, 2014, 09:36:55 PM
BitcoinAverage's historical data is being used by http://libratax.com/ for their accounting software, referencing us for their 'fair market value'

Nice!

I also notice that google recently added a btc price to it's currency conversion service.  Do you know if they're using your api or calculating it some other way?
3423  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [PrimeDice] Track Your Earnings! on: July 24, 2014, 09:29:51 PM
Cool site, I'm gonna follow this and I hope it continues to improve.

For the moment, I don't really know what it's trying to tell me about myself.  It correctly shows my bitcoin address but the balance it shows is not the balance in that address.  It shows my post count as 540 when actually my post count is around 990.  The chart shows lines going back to Jan 13 but I just joined the primedice campaign last month.

Cheers!
3424  Other / Meta / How to unfollow a thread on: July 24, 2014, 09:23:01 PM
Hi there,  I just found the 'unwatch' button and I celebrated because I thought that this meant I wouldn't have to see anymore updates in my "show new replies" page to threads once I pressed the 'unwatch' button on them.

However, this seems to not be the case.  Threads that I have posted in, even if it was over a year ago, even if I unwatch them, they still appear in my "new replies" page whenever they get bumped.

Is there any way to truly "unwatch" a thread?
3425  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec - campaign terminated on: July 24, 2014, 09:15:14 PM
Just PMd Alexrossi to see if he'll swoop to the rescue again.  It may or may not matter depending on whether or not XBTec is gone for good.

What up loyal Seals!

Big, big stuff going on at SwC during the 2nd half of 2014.

I can't get too specific quite yet, so I'm simply going to tease.  Sometimes a tease is good.  I know you want me to just bend you over and give you the business straight away, but I'm a delicate lover and need to be woo'd.

1)  beta server with pineapple and shootout tournaments available for testing:  beta.sealswithclubs.eu  [now with beta windows client.  you can run side by side real one.  same login info]

the beta server is play money & will not affect your regular account.

This is an important first step towards the Mixed games & OFC future of SwC.

2) big shout to Glitch, the SwC assistant tournament director, for getting the MTT lineup looking more and more complete.  We continue to work closely together, and I cannot thank him enough for his contribution in this area.  Some of you may have noticed the schedule includes many of your direct requests, and we will continue to tweak it and add cool new formats as they are created.   Feedback on our MTT schedule is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again to our loyal players.  Thanks for sticking with us through our growing pains.  We are going to build it big and beautiful Smiley

Sweet!  What about some bonus' for accounts older than 2013?  Don't you love us old faithful just a little more than the neophytes?
3427  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 24, 2014, 09:07:27 PM
Updates regarding the Campaign, all BTC payments will be shutdown.

Coinsource are ceasing BTC payments so should be removed (or an alt coin section created  Wink).
Thanks, I have removed them from the OP. I won't create an Altcoin section, because this is a Bitcoin related forum. Altcoins are tolerated, but I won't add them to this overview, since I don't really like them. If there was a LTC campaign I might add them, but that's all Tongue

I think it's a wise move.  I second the motion!

If a bunch of paid altcoin signature campaigns arise, and someone actually signs up for them, let those folks make their own overview thread.  I'm sure someone in their community could happily do it.
3428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: July 23, 2014, 09:39:43 PM
More people should play this, it's actually really fun. The soldiers that you start off with only give 1000 satoshi at first, but if you take advantage of the promotional soldiers you can get 2mBTC/soldier and there's probably like 7 or 8 of those special ones scattered through the game. I collected from those, but other people need to collect too before I can collect again. So PLAY THIS GAME AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE BITCOIN!!!!!

And if you're lucky you can take advantage of the casino by using that free bitcoin to gamble for fun!
3429  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: July 23, 2014, 09:36:02 PM
Wow, I haven't used the flash client ever since the android client and then the gnu/linux desktop clients came out.  Is the beta thing worth checking out?  Does it have anything the desktop doesn't have?  Or does it just suck a little less than the old flash client?
3430  Economy / Services / Re: Those who rent out signature space---Unite! on: July 23, 2014, 09:27:05 PM
I'm having some issues dealing with the OP of the fastbluff campaign.  I've quit the campaign but the dude is opening up a flame war against me now.  I don't know if any of the brother signature bearers in this thread have advice.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684966.msg7978466#msg7978466

Looking at the thread, it looks like you guys found a way to sort things out.  Anyway, That issue really seemed to go from 0 -- 100mph really fast.  I was going to suggest simply waiting a day for everyone to think about their position.
3431  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 23, 2014, 02:35:16 AM
I'm not involved in this dispute between sed and fasbluff, but if fastbluff doesn't pay for certain posts made during the advertizing period, I think that should be noted in the description on the OP here.  From what I can tell, fastbluff isn't denying that fact, he seems to be saying that that's his policy and that sed ignored it or something.  But for our purposes here, we can just note it in the OP and move on, I think.
3432  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! [Highest Paying Campaign] on: July 23, 2014, 12:20:44 AM

We have left you negative feedback, as we set up a policy you didn't follow it. You are now not eligible to be in any of contest or signature campaign. Please stop spamming this thread as we will report it to a mod, if you want you can pm us to continue, but we have made our case very clear.

Actually both of you guys can leave each other all of the negative feedback you want.  No one will see it until one of you gets into the default trust ring aaaaaaand, that's looking pretty unlikely for either of you at the moment.

Anyway, I'm not involved in this campaign but it does seem like fastbluff's policy is pretty wack, I haven't seen any other campaigns doing this.  But sed going directly to negative feedback also seems extreme.  Why don't you guys both forgive each other and walk away with clean reps?
3433  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec - campaign terminated on: July 23, 2014, 12:15:42 AM
Hi Alexrossi, we need finally to output our first miners batch.
We plans to re-open, when first devices will sent out to community

Ok! I've also sent you a couple of days ago a PM, maybe you haven't noticed it.

I agree with zolace: you are one of the youngest but also better and more reliable signature campaign operator, don't leave the scene Wink

I'm not sure I agree at all.  While he seems mostly like a good person, his payment plan is hardly reliable.  When I was in this campaign it was later and later every week.  And look, there are 4 people who he still hasn't paid at all even though the campaign ended 3 weeks ago.  I'm leaving negative feedback now.  I don't think it's "trustworthy" to be so late or to have to have a trusted member leave you negative feedback in order for you to pay your bills.  I know my feedback doesn't mean much, but I'm leaving it anyway.

To those he still hasn't paid, I hope this helps...Sad

I'm going to follow sed and stand in solidarity with the folks who weren't paid yet.  XBTec, dammit dude, why don't you just pay these folks the small change you owe them!?
3434  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 17, 2014, 02:16:13 PM
Bookkeeping post for primedice campaign.  (I'll need this next month when I'm figuring out when I last claimed payment.)
If you are asking for next months enrollment then you not need to enroll again as Stunna already clear this just claim your payment and all is ok for you for more details you can read Post # 8783

Nope, as I indicated, it's just a matter of figuring out X where next month's posts will be

CurrentPostCount - X = AmountToRequest

3436  Economy / Services / Re: Those who rent out signature space---Unite! on: July 16, 2014, 02:07:03 AM
i'm with ya. after getting screwed by tradefortress and bitcoinsports.eu, i gave up on signature advertising for a while. minersource has been good so far, but i see what you mean with all the problems around updown.bt and xbtec.

I heard about XBTec but not updown.bt . Anyway it is really bad, if they didn't pay. Roll Eyes Lips sealed

IMO the forum can make an option for that. Every advertisers can make an option and pay at that time, 1st day of each week or month and participants can apply on any service. This forum can use Coinbase for paying as it has automatic sending option. So we can guarantee the payment better that trusting a person who pay. I don't know whether it can be established, I just told my opinion/suggestion.

Kindly,
        MZ

It's an interesting idea but I don't think the forum operators care to get involved in this sorta thing.  They have their business---running the forum.  They really don't have much incentive to get involved between advertizers and their contractees so I doubt it would happen.
3437  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec - campaign terminated on: July 16, 2014, 02:04:47 AM
I have this funny feeling, this time xbtec is gone for good

I hope you're wrong.  Has anyone checked in on his activity on the boards.  If he hasn't paid you guys by tomorrow, I'll go ahead and add my negative feedback (again!).  This time I'm kinding thinking that I'm not going to remove it even if he does pay.  I will change it to "paid eventually" however, IMHO, this kind of shenanigans actually deserves negative feedback.  People dealing with him in the future should know that he's so terribly disorganized, etc.
3438  Economy / Services / Re: XBTec - campaign terminated on: July 14, 2014, 11:46:06 PM
Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to result to negative feedback and perhaps getting one of the big dogs in here with default trust to prompt XBTec to action.  Come on XBTec, prove us wrong, just get this done so we can all move on with our lives.
3439  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 14, 2014, 11:43:34 PM
Basically the last 5 pages of this thread are dedicated to people who are confused by the current architecture of the signup form where you're taken to the claim form right after trying to enroll for the first time.  I was also confused.  FWIW, I'm still not in the list of enrolled members but given Stunna's stellar reputation, I'm assuming he's going to pay me and he just hasn't gotten around to updating the list (or fixing the confusing enrollment situation).
3440  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 14, 2014, 11:41:17 PM
So off the active campaings Primedice seems like the most profitable option given you reach 400p/m right?
how does it compare to Fastbluff?

Also, how do they keep track of your posts? who monitorizes this? how do they keep track of so many posts and payments? I think it's crazy.

Another question would have been: If say, BTC goes to 2K dollar next year, will they back up and reduce the 0.4 max monthly payment? because it would be cool to make a decent salary off posting on BTCtalk.
Primedice is the most trusted and legit out there, right now. Others might have higher payment rate or higher max post count, but they are either full or not really trusted. Fastbluff has the same rate as Primedice but a 50p/w maximum (so around 200p/m). The reason I joined them is to test their campaign and to help them test the water.

You have to tell them your post count when you start and you will most likely need to tell them how many posts you made in the specified period. But you will have to check that with the campaign itself. It differs Wink

They will decrease the rate when Bitcoin rises that much.
Hi, could you help me with this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387.msg7847098#msg7847098

After I fill the enrollment, click next then I see that, do I leave it all in blank, or only the "Constructive Posts made this term"?
Also what constitutes a term? per month or after the payments on the 17th of each month?

I think you really want to post in the primedice thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387).  However, I can say that I recently signed up for the primedice campaign (and as discussed in the thread) I also found it a bit confusing the way the signup form takes you right to the claim form.  Basically, the idea is that you should submit that claim part of the form on the 17th of each month if you've met the minimum (50) posts since whenever you signed up and the 17th.  Upon signing up, I just left the question about constructive posts blank as it's not relevant upon signup.
