3421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.com hacked. I need a bit of light shared please on: May 06, 2021, 03:04:25 PM
The case is quite complex to me, I haven't seen such as case previously. Once happen clipboard hack then partial funds would be hacked. But according to you, the device wasn't used for anything else except your email and blockchain wallet. Are you sure you haven't clicked any link from email? Had you attempted to transfer your funds during the event of the hacking period? If not then most probably there is something else behind the story. Because if compromised your wallet credentials then the hacker won't leave any funds into your wallet. Hackers are really not so kind.

There is a rumor that a few blockchain staff is involved with such hacking attempts. I am assuming that would happen in your case. I don't think OP stupid enough who holding such as big amount will careless to save wallet credentials or device. But yes, it was a stupid attempt to store such huge funds in a web wallet. The hacked amount is very big which is enough to settle a few life. It's not impossible that blockchain staff wouldn't be involved with such as case once the amount is life-changing.

We can't do anything with sent funds which is confirmed into blockchain and seems the hacker broken the chain with small transactions. Hope you realized your mistakes that anyone shouldn't store such as a huge amount in a web wallet. Just secure your funds immediately with a Ledger wallet. I even wouldn't dare to hold such an amount in Electrum. That's why I bought Ledger back a year.

Last question, had you moved your remains fund from Blockchain wallet? If not then do it as soon as possible if you don't want to be a victim again.
3422  Economy / Reputation / Re: MoparMiningLLC Escrow in account sales? on: May 06, 2021, 12:21:13 PM
edit: I am not always told what type of accounts I was escrowing for - they simply want someone to hold funds until both sides are in agreement and satisfied. Some specify what they are selling and some do not. Another reason why I also no longer do virtual items.
So you weren't aware that you are going to escrow funds for the forum account? I am not sure if the account seller holds any other account to sell. Because seems you have left negative feedback the seller to ignore after escrowed the funds. So I am assuming farlack just trying to scam false accounts thread sell.

Anyway good to see that deal wasn't succeeding and you left dealing with digital goods like account sales. To be honest it's pretty easy to make a fool of an escrow provider. Because once you are only holding the funds you don't know either they are dealing with an account or narcotics. They might mislead an escrow pretty easily. But I won't support escrow who are willingly dealing with account sell. It's quite harmful to the forum especially when a green trust account changes hand. Who knows if the second party isn't a scammer?
3423  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Rate the Exchange based on your Experience on: May 05, 2021, 06:28:04 PM
Regarding the KYC process Binance, Bittrex and KuCoin were fast to me. I hadn't used their support system but based on a few reviews from the forum the support system for these exchanges quite slow. It would vary depending on the volume of customer support. I believe you wouldn't satisfy with the exchange support of a centralized exchange. Because by comparing support volume they don't have enough representatives IMO. But seems Binance struggling to increase its support speed (noticed from Binance founder's tweet), but not yet improved.
3424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does Coinbase support Bitcoin SV? on: May 05, 2021, 06:15:36 PM
You say no point in sending bitcoin sv to exchange that doesn't allow buying/selling of it.  That make sense.  But where would i store my bitcoin sv then after i claim it?
I have been using coinbase for a long time seems there we can't make deposits for BSV since coinbase doesn't support BSV. It has been clearly stated in the coinbase wallet. Is BSV balance reflecting in the coinbase wallet? If not then how are you wondering to claim it? Coinbase supports BCH during the fork and most probably it was automatically credited in your wallet, wasn't necessary to claim yourself. I am assuming you just moved it from coinbase and you are wondering you claimed it. I am not sure if I am getting you correctly.

Just for clarification, if you were holding BCH in coinbase during BCH-BSV hard fork then it's impossible to claim since coinbase doesn't support and you aren't holding the private key. If you can manage to claim Bitcoin then you may use a fork of Electrum called Electrumsv suggested by Ledger.
3425  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 30 questions for theymos on: May 05, 2021, 05:05:32 PM
Although I am curious to know all the answers but there a few terrible questions. For example, who is theymos, we don't expect these answers from a decentralized crypto user due to privacy issues. But of course, I will be happy to hear. Another is who handling the forum ban, this answer will fill the moderator PM who is handling the forum ban. But I believe there few only who handling the forum ban. Anyway thanks for raising these questions, although we can't force anyone on the forum, but we can expect at least.

Waiting for theymos reply..........
3426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What questions should I answer before I buy a new currency on: May 05, 2021, 04:51:21 PM
Just be careful when you are wondering to enter altcoin markets. It's because there are a lot of shitcoin exist in the alt market which is risky to invest on. At first, you have to look at how the potential project is and who is behind the project. The core team either active or inactive and is developing its roadmap or not. I have remembered correctly once a invest in a shitcoin and the team disappeared after a few days and I lost a lot. You need to learn more upon entering on altcoin market and research more. Make sure there active strong community behind an altcoin where you are gonna invest.
3427  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source on: May 04, 2021, 05:37:41 PM
Again spamming for a rank up  Grin

User rhomelmabini currently have 472 merits (recently I sent 5) and he needs more only 28 merits to become a Hero member. Just feel happy once I can help someone to see rank up. There is not much noticeable thread created by the user, at least this thread would help to get attention.
Thread link: Just some Busting

Anyway, I am out of source merits right now. Hope some other merit source will push this user to the next rank.

ScamViruS - List of Scam Projects (95 exposed scams)
Description: This user already earned the enough activity points for the next rank. He is doing very good and exposed 95 scam project. I believe he deserves the hero rank. Here in the link provided above, you can find 95 topics created by him.

3428  Other / Meta / Re: Spending smerits as you earn them. on: May 04, 2021, 05:21:19 PM
For me, I feel sad once I can't send merit in a good post according to me. I don't know others but I feel happy when I can help someone by sending merits. Because I believe we are a family and we need to help each other those aren't spammer at least. If others weren't helped me from the beginning today I can't achieve a Legendary on the forum. So I know how hard is to earn merits. However, now I am a merit source and before the end of the month, my source merit becomes empty. Also, my earned merits become empty most of the time. Many users holding smerit those aren't spending on the good post, I don't know what befits would bring to not sending merits to others.
3429  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New tricks of fake Elon Musk's Twitter giveaway! on: May 03, 2021, 05:36:38 PM
My friend almost got fooled by these links circulating around. Good thing that he mentioned it to me. There is a high probability that people would fall on this scheme especially if without the familiarity with crypto.
Thank God your friend succeed to save his funds. That's the reason why we have been sharing such scam attempts with the community. This kind of thread would help people in various ways like search on Google or in the forum. And those users who visit scam accusations regularly notice this kind of scam method. If we can keep in mind that nothing is free in the world 🌎, it's just a scam attempt. Using your brain 🧠 would save lots of money from scammers.
3430  Economy / Economics / Re: The Winklevoss twins worth $3bn Each for buying Bitcoin @ $8 with confidence on: May 03, 2021, 03:35:58 PM
@OP, thanks for sharing that news with the community to encourage investing in Bitcoin. Although I sent 9 merits to your post it's just to help you upgrade the rank from member to Full member. I want to say this isn't a good way to share news, it's like you directly copy-pasted from the news and share the source link below the post. It would a proper way to express your thought since there no you own thoughts.

Anyway, those were smart enough earlier they realized the potential of Bitcoin. That's the reason why they become billionaires. I can't recall correctly but most probably Bitcoin price was $500-$700 once I was introduced to Bitcoin. But I didn't realize the potential of Bitcoin during that time and that's why still I am poor. Once a time people will think why they hadn't bought even Bitcoin was $50K.

Apologies for bump this thread, just want to explain this kind of copy-paste isn't a wise attempt.
3431  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New tricks of fake Elon Musk's Twitter giveaway! https://eloncoins.space/ on: May 03, 2021, 01:40:14 PM
Just want to another website link with the same tricks. The scammer is working hard to get succeed.
Website: https://eloncoins.space
Archived: https://archive.is/am4dB
They just create this page today and start spamming in Telegram.

Out of curiosity, I checked BTC and ETH address they are using, and so far on BTC address there is 0.015 BTC from 1 transaction , while ETH is still empty.
Most probably someone falls into this trap or a scammer makes deposits by themselves to attract us. But seems 0.015BTC has moved to some other wallet.
3432  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: doubleway.io ponzi scheme on: May 02, 2021, 07:06:03 PM
Every time you create a new accusation please follow the correct accusation format. So it would easy to understand for all users. However, the website itself describes its a scam scheme at all. I am not familiar with such as smart contracts where referrals will send money directly to the upline. It means the first upline is the platform itself where all the funds will go eventually and most probably a few users would participate in this scam. Otherwise, no one will refer. I am not sure if I get it correctly. I am not sure how they write the code nor I am interested. It's a pure scam scheme where people will lose their money if in case become greedy. Nothing here except MLM, nothing real here.
3433  Economy / Scam Accusations / New tricks of fake Elon Musk's Twitter giveaway! on: May 02, 2021, 06:43:19 PM
Website-1: https://tweetermusk.ug
Archived: https://archive.is/Fmp4C
Website-2: https://dropmusk.ug/
Archived:  https://archive.is/ICSUk
What happened: Fake giveaway.

The tricks seem to me new. I haven't noticed such tricks before. Until I read the web address correctly I was confused. Scammers managed a fake page that is looking at original tweets of Elon Musk. I was surprised when I see a blue tick mark beside Tweet. Then I read the website then I realized the fact. I was confused since the scammer promoting a short link in Telegram. See the below picture.

The first website will drive you into the above page which is quite confusing for newbies and the second website will be redirected to another page same looks like Elon medium page where scammer store scam script. The scammer just has been using the same script but seems they are changing promoting system and making us more confused. So better to stay away from the free money offer.

3434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 02, 2021, 06:08:41 PM
Seems OP isn't happy yet even Bitcoin record a new ATH. What are you expecting more? It's not a skyrocket that always will fly. It's not impossible to touch $100K for Bitcoin, but it will take time. We have already seen a few institutional investors in Bitcoin lately and that's the reason for the current bull trend. I am even happy if Bitcoin just holds resistance above $40K. If you want to see Bitcoin above $100K then we have to see more institutional investors in Bitcoin. For me, I don't think this year it will happen. Many people even speculating 1M, but I don't trust them since it's just an idea. Just be realistic with the situation.
3435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading or Bounty Which is profitable?? on: May 02, 2021, 05:16:35 PM
For me bounty and trading both are risky. Because in bounty you might lose your valuable time, in trading you might lose your valuable assets. Based on the current situation, bounty almost worst, most projects just a scam. I can't see many good projects lately from where you would earn money. Sometimes gas fee would surpass the token value. So take your decision by deep research.

For the trading, just keep in mind that most new traders are at loss. If you aren't well-familiar with trading then take a breath and start learning. Trading isn't an easy way to make money, there is a potential risk of loss fund as well. Doesn't mean you can't earn but if you become more experienced then there is less chance of loss fund. So if really want to start trading then start with a small fund and learn. Then you may increase your portfolio once you gain enough knowledge.
3436  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: adkinsbet.com - offline on: May 01, 2021, 07:41:23 PM
Seems you are quite an old user of this forum, but you weren't much active (according to post history) here. That's the reason why you have lost funds adkinsbet. From the beginning, their behavior was pretty suspicious and you will fund a couple of threads against them on the forum. If someone research on the forum about adkinsbet then they won't deposit into there. But sorry to see you missed it and lost funds. A simple suggestion just learns from your past mistakes. So in the future, there will be less chance to lose your funds.
3437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which coin mixer that you are using? on: May 01, 2021, 07:19:55 PM
I am not a big fan of Bitcoin mixer nor its necessary for me. But I have used once a time Go-Overt Bitcoin mixer for testing purposes before taking their campaign. Overall all experience was fine except SSL issue. Most probably they used Cloudflare and that's the issue about privacy. So it would solve once you use the onion browser instead of clear net. I don't know their current status since I was using it a while ago. Just make sure if you want to use it and just use it at your own risk. On the other hand, although I hadn't used Chipmixer they have a good reputation on the forum. So you may try it if needed. Any mixer should use at your own risk, keep it in mind.
3438  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will crypto debit cards work even in restricted country? on: May 01, 2021, 07:11:44 PM
It would work the same way once you get a debit card from the back. If you are eligible to get an international debit card from any country either from India or abroad then it would use any country where Visa or Master card is accepted. The Crypto debit card system bans the citizen of a country due to government regulations. But if the card is loaded from other countries and use in India ATM, then it should work. Because if an Australian uses a crypto debit card then he would visit India and he should be able to withdraw money from ATM. Otherwise, what is the meaning of an international debit card? Isn't then useless?
3439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 01, 2021, 05:24:21 PM
Looking for the next Doge? No, it's quite impossible. I know everything possible in crypto, but keep in mind Elon Musk isn't in every cryptocurrency. As we know the story behind the Doge. We can say it manipulate or support but Elon did it somehow. I will not surprised if the doge prices surpass $1 in near future. Because still Elon trying to bring it to the moon. So how will you compare any other coin with doge? It would happen if a coin is supported by any other multi-billionaire like Elon Musk. Otherwise, it's just a dream.
3440  Economy / Reputation / Re: The user "amonymous" stealing other's works (Plagiarism) on: April 30, 2021, 06:50:37 PM
I want to know if there is a way to find plagiarism on twitter that the bounty hunter reported to get paid, because so far I only know it can be done manually by checking one by one?
As far as I know there no such tools where you can check social media plagiarism. Either you have to use a bot to check one by one or you have to develop your own tools. For me, I don't use any tools. But I click each link provided by participants. Although it's quite impossible to identify each plagiarism in a social media campaign, but I am trying my best to serve the company that has hired me to manage their campaign. During the checkup, my brain just catches it because both participants applied and make the report in a row. So easily it was drawn my attention. But of course, I care about it and will try my best to prevent cheating in my campaign. Although I would make mistake, but once other participants will see that thread then I don't think they will dare to plagiarized in my campaigns.
